ABSTRACT

The operational main body,fund source,information source and its assessment,service contents and forms of the major medical and health information service platforms for the public in United Kingdom,USA,Canada and Australia were compared and analyzed with suggestions put forward for establishing government-led non-profitable medical and health information service platforms,namely enlarging the depth and width of medical and health information service,promoting the assessment of information service on the platforms by the third party,enforcing the management of medical and health information service platforms,improving the interaction and feedback between website maintenance staff and users,and strengthening the construction of digital medical service system.

ABSTRACT

This article analyses and describes the influencing mechanism of hospital alliance on quality of care from six aspects:product and technology,organizational structure,psychosocial climate, management,organizational culture,and competition in medical service market.In order to ensure and improve the medical quality,this study discusses that hospital alliance can not only ally in the form but also optimize the internal structure,strengthen the integration of organizational culture of the institutions, gradually form a social psychological climate of“Quality First”.In addition,the government′s regulation on the medical service market is also indispensable.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To discuss the health risk links involved in self-medication of Chinese urban residents. METHODS: Based on literature study and the experts consultation, the high risk links of the self-medication were defined according to the process of self-medication behavior and the probability of the health harm involved in the self-medication behavior, and the intervention suggestions were put forward for the health risks. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS: The health risk links involved in self-medication of Chinese urban residents appear as 6 links include self-diagnostic error, incorrect drug choice, failing to understand or follow drug package inserts in taking drugs, irrational drug use, unaware of the drug contraindication, disregarding the physiological particularity of the special drug users. Carrying out education on self-mediation and behavior management among the residents, and reinforcing the government control are the effective ways to reduce the health risk of self-medication.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To provide behavioral intervention strategies for the reduction of health risks involved in Chinese inhabitants' self-medication.METHODS:The health risks and the behavioral patterns involved in Chinese inhabitants' self-medication were analyzed.RESULTS &CONCLUSION:The self-medication behaviors of Chinese inhabitants can only be intervened through strengthening the health education,improving Chinese inhabitants' self-medication ability,standardizing the management of packaging and descriptions of OTC,promoting and enforcing GPP,launching consumer medication counseling services extensively,enhancing pharmacists' quality,reinforcing supervision and reporting of adverse drug reactions,etc.
