ABSTRACT

【Objective】 To establish a paper-free system of the total whole blood donation flow in constructing intelligent blood stations, and build digitalized whole blood donation system for practice. 【Methods】 A paper-free whole blood collection system was constructed through information process reforming, system frame designing and data network transportation constructing, and was applied in various blood donation scenario. 【Results】 Fixed blood collection sites carried out 49 063 donations via paper-free information system from November 2022 to July 2023, and 24 822 donations( group blood donation) were conducted via paper-free system from April to July 2022. Compared with the traditional paper-based model, paper-free system is safer, more standardized and more convenient, effectively enhancing the experience of blood donors. 【Conclusion】 The construction of paper-free whole blood collection system effectively enhances the experience of blood donors, improves the safety, accuracy, traceability of the data, and has good social value and economic value, which is worth popularizing.

ABSTRACT

@#Objective    To explore the therapeutic effects of different surgical strategies on women with mechanical valve dysfunction during pregnancy. Methods    A total of 11 patients with mechanical valve dysfunction during pregnancy who underwent surgeries in our hospital from 2007 to 2017 were retrospectively included. The average age was 27.5±3.7 years. The prognosis of patients was analyzed according to the gestational weeks, cardiac function and the severity of mechanical valve dysfunction. Results    No death occurred. Three of them suffered subtotal hysterectomy during the surgery because of uncontrolled bleeding, and the others recovered without complications. Among the 5 patients with pregnancies <28 weeks, 1 patient was found intrauterine death before hospital admission, 2 suffered fetal loss 5 days after the cardiac surgery, and the other 2 patients continued their gestations until deliveries. Among the other 6 patients with pregnancies >28 weeks, 1 fetus died because of intracranial hemorrhage, and the other 5 survived without embryopathy or foetopathy. Conclusion    Gestation week, cardiac function and severity of mechanical valve dysfunction may be taken into account when making a treatment regimen for women with dysfunctional valve prostheses during pregnancy.

ABSTRACT

Objective To evaluate the anti-HBV effect of hypericin from the cellular level and to preliminarily explore its po-tential drug target point. Methods Liver cell line HepG2.2.15 cells secreting HBV particles were selected as the experimental ob-jects.Hypericin served as the HY group, lamivudine was taken as 3TC group and deionized water as the blank control group. The cells were grouped and administrated. The HBV-DNA copy level was measured at72 h after medication by Southern blot and fluo-rescent quantitative PCR;the inhibition rate of HBsAg and HBeAg was detected by using ELISA assay;the pgRNA expression level was tested by using Northern blot and fluorescent quantitative PCR;Western blot and fluorescent quantitative PCR were adopted to detect the expression of regulatory factors including HNF3β,HNF4α,PPARαand RXRα.Results Compared to the blank control group, both hypericin and lamivudine had significant inhibiting effect on HBV DNA and expression level of HBsAg and HBeAg in HepG2.2.15 cells (P <0.05).Hypericin could significantly decrease the pgRNA expression compared with the blank control group (P <0.05),while lamivudine had no obvious change (P <0.05).Moreover,hypericin exhibited significant effects on the expression of HNF3βand regulatory factor HNF4αcompared with the blank control group and 3TC group(P <0.05).Conclusion Hypericin represents a strong anti-HBV effect, moreover could increase the negative regulatory factor HNF3βn expression and decreases the positive factor HNF4αexpression,prompting that its drug target point could be pgRNA.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To explore the method of pharmaceutical care which influence the effect of the treatment for diabetes mellitus at home. METHODS:163 patients with diabetes mellitus in community who received treatment at home were selected, and then randomly divided into control group (58 cases),family visit group (51 cases) and group education group (54 cases);control group were given pharmaceutical intervention with traditional dispensing window;family visit group received door-to-door service or telephone follow-up service;group education group were given collective education and interactive way. The latter two groups were all given regular drug education, and the advisory desk was set up and provided consulting services about medication knowledge. RESULTS:After providing pharmaceutical care, the regular medication rate of 3 groups were 43.1%,64.8% and 78.4%;medication adherence were 51.7%,70.4% and 82.4%;the rates of blood glucose at target level were 29.3%,48.1% and 54.9%;the rates of glycosylated hemoglobin at target level were 13.7%,31.5% and 31.4%,ADR occurance rates were 31.0%, 13.0%,5.9%. These index of family visit group and group education group were all better than those of control group significantly (P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Humane pharmaceutical care can improve the quality and effect of the treatment for diabetes mellitus.

ABSTRACT

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To investigate the effects of electromagnetic pulses (EMP) on the apoptosis and transforming growth factor beta 3 (TGF-β3) expression of mouse testis tissue.</p><p><b>METHODS</b>Thirty-two male BALB/c mice were randomly and equally divided into one control group and three EMP treated groups, which were whole-body exposed to EMP at 200 kV/m with 100, 200, and 400 pulses, respectively. The control group received no treatment. The pathological changes and cell apoptosis in testis tissue were analyzed by TUNEL assay. The mRNA expression of TGF-β3 in testis tissue was determined by RT-PCR, and the protein expression of TGF-β3 was determined by immunohistochemistry and Western blot.</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>No obvious pathological changes were found in testis tissue after EMP exposure at 200 kV/m with 100 and 200 pulses. However, after EMP exposure with 400 pulses, degeneration and shedding of testis tissue, accompanied by significant increase in apoptosis rate (P < 0.05), was observed. The RT-PCR, immunohistochemistry, and Western blot showed that the expression of TGF-β3 mRNA and protein increased significantly after EMP exposure with 400 pulses as compared with that of the control group (P < 0.05).</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>EMP exposure at 200 kV/m with 400 pulses increases the incidence of apoptosis and expression of TGF-β3 in mouse testis tissue, which is potentially one of the mechanisms by which EMP increases blood-testis barrier permeability in mice.</p>

ABSTRACT

@#Objective To observe the effect of 2450 MHz microwave on the white blood cells (WBC) and haematogenous of granulocytic series of mice. Methods The whole body of BALB/c mice were exposure to 2450 MHz power density (10 mW/cm2) microwave, and the mice were killed at different times after exposure, to determine the changes of spleen/body ratio, peripheral blood WBC, number of marrow nucleus cells, cell cycle and form ability of GM-CFU (granule and macrophage-clone forming unit). Results The number of peripheral blood WBC increased at first and then reduced with the exposure time prolonged. Number of marrow nucleus cells kept decreasing after microwave exposure, otherwise, form ability of GM-CFU of marrow cells increased. Exposure to 2450 MHz 10 mV/cm2microwave might speed up marrow nucleus cell passed from G1 period to G2 and S periods. Conclusion Low frequency of 2450 MHz microwave exposure has significant stimulate function on granule cell system, but with the time prolong, number of nucleus cells decreased.
