ABSTRACT

Objective To establish the quality standard for Haijinhuwei powder. Methods Corydalis Rhizoma, Angelicae Dahuricae Radix, Angelicae Sinensis Radix were identified by TLC. The content of tetrahydropalmatine was determined by HPLC. Results TLC spots were clear and specific. There was a good linear relationship between peak area and concentration of tetrahydropalmatine at the range of 10.78-107.8μg.mL-1(r=0.999 9).The average recovery rate was 96.57% and RSD was 1.40%(n=6). Conclusion All these results indicated that the developed TLC-HPLC method was proved to be reliable, accurate and specific, which could be used for the quality control of Haijinhuwei powder.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To establish the HPLC fingerprint of dry ginger to provide experimental evidence for the quality control. Methods:An Agilent TC-C18 column (250 mm × 4. 6 mm,5 μm) was used, the flow phase was acetonitrile-water with gradient elu-tion, the flow rate was 1. 0 ml·min-1 , the column temperature was 30℃, and the detection wavelength was 240 nm. The data were e-valuated by the similarity evaluation software for TCM fingerprint. Results:There were 10 common peaks in HPLC chromatogram of 10 batches of dry ginger at 240 nm, and the chemical similar coefficient was 99%. Conclusion: The fingerprint of ginger at 240 nm is highly specific and typical with a rich fund of information, which can provide useful references for the quality control and evaluation of dry ginger.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the expressions of Wnt1 and β-catenin proteins in mammary cancer and its relationship with clinical pathological characteristics, and explore its role in the pathogenesis of breast cancer. Methods Immunoshistochemisty (SP method) was used to detect the expressions of Wnt1 and β-catenin proteins in adjacent tissue of breast cancer (n =15),breast hyperplasia tissues (n =25),and breast in vasive ductal carcinoma (n =80).SPSS 17.0 statistical software was used for analysis, such as count data with x2 test and correlation analysis with Spearman test, with significance level of α =0.05.Results The positive rate of Wnt1 and β-catenin in breast cancer group [62.5% (50/80) and 68.8 (55/80)] was significantly higher than that in hyperplasia group [28% (7/25) and 20% (5/25)]and in borderline group [13.33 (2/15) and 13.33 (2/15)] with a significant difference (P < 0.01).Positive expression of Wnt1 and abnormal expression of β-catenin in breast invasive ductal carcinoma were related to lymphatic metastasis (x2 =5.10,4.87,P < 0.05).Abnormal expression of β-catenin was also related to the histological grading of breast invasive ductal carcinoma (x2 =5.61,P < 0.05).The expressions of Wnt1 and β-catenin proteins in invasive ductal carcinoma showed a positive correlation (r =0.313,P < 0.01).Conclusions The high level expression of Wnt1 protein and the abnormal expression of β-catenin protein might play an important role in breast carcinogenesis, and was related to lymph node metastasis.

ABSTRACT

Objective: To investigate the therapeutic efficacy and mechanisms of ?-sodium aeacine in treating chest trauma. Methods: One hundred and sixty patients with chest trauma were randomly divided into two groups: the control group and the study group. The control group was treated by conventional method, while in addition to the conventional treatment, the study group was also treated with ?-sodium aeacine,10 mg of ?-sodium aeacine in 250 ml 10% glucose solution for intravenous drip,30 to 40 drops/min,twice a day for 10 days(one therapeutic course). Results: The effective and total effective rates of the study group were significantly higher than those of the control group(the effective rate(62.5% vs.22.5%) and the total effective rate(97.5% vs.66.3%),both P
