ABSTRACT

Chronic pelvic pain is a common disease in women, manifested by more than six months pain in the lower abdominal area, which is not entirely associated with the menstrual cycle or sexual intercourse.Chronic pelvic pain has a prevalence of 3.8% among women of reproductive age.It is commonly seen in clinic, but difficult to be treated and easily relapses.Chronic pelvic pain may have profound effects on women's work and quality of sexual life.In recent years, more and more evidence suggest that integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine has a great efficancy in treating patients with Chronic pelvic pain.
