ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the expression of p21-activated kinase 1 (PAK1) protein in patients with colorectal carcinoma and evaluate its clinicopathological significance. Methods The expression of PAK1 was detected by the immunohistochemical method (SABC) in 50 cases of colorectal carcinoma and pericancerous normal specimens, and the relationship between the expression of PAK1 protein and clinicopathological parameters was analyzed. Results The positive rate of PAK1 in colorectal carcinoma was significantly higher than that in normal pulmonary tissues (58 % vs 22 %, P <0.01), and the expression of PAK1 protein was significantly correlated to lymph node metastasis (χ2 =8.872, P =0.003) and degree of differentiation (χ2 =6.344, P =0.042), but not to tumor location, size, age and sex (P >0.05). The positive staining of PAK1 protein was mainly located in the cytoplasm of tumor cells. Conclusion Overexpression of PAK1 is closely related with tumor biological behavior and it may play important role in the development of colorectal carcinoma.

ABSTRACT

Objective To rapidly reckon eight palace from it's owned sixty-four hexagrams. Methods According to the idea of reckoning eight diagrams in each of eight palace, we can find out the method of back-reckoning eight palace from sixty-four hexagrams. Results There are regular patterns for backreckoning eight palace from sixty-four hexagrams. Conclusion Any of sixty-four hexagrams can be reckoned to the eight palace that it belongs to.

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the regularity and the origin of the correlation between the Destiny of Earth and the corresponding Vigorous Hill-orientation at the Time. Methods Compare the 24 Hill-orientation Map and the Congenital Fuxi Position Map and analyze the correlation between the Destiny of Earth of the corresponding Vigorous Hill-orientation at the Time (Vigorous Position at the Time) and the Number of Congenital Hexagram corresponding to the position. Results It was identical that the Number 1, 2, 3, 4 of Congenital Hexagram on behalf of Congenital Fuxi Chart Position and the Destiny of Earth (the corresponding Destiny of Earth is 1.2.3.4 too) of the corresponding Vigorous Hill-orientation at the Time in the 24 Hill-orientation Map having 15° clockwise rotation corresponding to the position (instead of 1-Yun by 5-Yun, as 1-Yun has no Vigorous Hill-orientation at the Time) ; and the Number 5, 6, 7, 8 of Congenital Hexagram on behalf of Congenital Fuxi Chart Position and the Destiny of Earth of the Vigorous Hill-orientation at the Time in the 24 Hill-orientation Map having 15°clockwise rotation corresponding to the position (instead of 9-Yun by 5-Yun, as 9-Yun has no Vigorous Hill-orientation at the Time) has one hexagram difference respectively (the corresponding Destiny of Earth is 6, 7, 8, 9). Conclusion The Destiny of Earth which has the regularity of running track is closely related to the Congenital Fuxi Position Map.

ABSTRACT

Objective Rapidly deducing Satisfied Tone of Jiazi Spend 60.Methods Sorting Jiazi Spend 60 of the same Satisfied Tone in order to find the corresponding relationship between Jiazi Spend 60,Satisfied Tone,Five Elements of Number generated by Heaven and Earth. Results Jiazi Spend 60 of the same Salistied Tone in order is regular, having each to each corresponding relationship to Satisfied Tone, and Five Elements of Number generated by Heaven and Earth. Conclusion Deduction from Jiazi Spend 60 to the corresponding Five Elements of Number generated by Heaven and Earth then to Satisfied Tone of Jiazi Spend 60 is available.

ABSTRACT

ObjectiveTo evaluate the effect of radical proctectomy with TME for the treatment of rectal carcinoma in the prevention of postoperative local recurrence. Method78 patients undergoing this procedure were followed up for 5 years.ResultLocal recurrence developed in 10 cases during 5 year′s follow up, with recurrence related mortality of 7/78, local recurrence rate of 10/78 (13%). Tumor malignancy and Dukes′ grade were in direct proportion with the recurrence. The 5 year′s survival rate was 88%(69/78). The postoperative 5 year′s survival rate in Dukes′ A, B and C patients was respectively 100%(9/9), 92%(51/54), and 64%(9/14). ConclusionRadical proctectomy with TME is superior to that without TME in terms of low postoperative local recurrence rate for the treatment of rectal carcinoma.
