ABSTRACT

Anti-N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor (NMDAR) encephalitis is an autoimmune encephalitis mediated by anti-NMDAR antibody. Current studies have found that most patients with anti-NMDAR encephalitis have a good prognosis after immunotherapy and tumor therapy, but there are still 4.5%-36.4% patients with relapse. It is important to identify the risk factors for the prevention of relapse. This article aims to review the relapse risk factors of NMDAR encephalitis in order to provide help for the prevention of relapse.

ABSTRACT

@#Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are clinically used with common gastrointestinal adverse reactions, among which NSAIDs-induced small intestinal injuries (NSIs) are manifested in the appearance of jejunum and ileal mucosa erythema, erosion, ulcer, hemorrhage, intestinal wall perforation and obstruction et al..The pathological mechanisms of NSIs are complex, with a lack of effective prevention or treatment methods. This review summarizes the research progress of the pathological mechanisms of NSIs as well as the prevention and treatment of NSIs by misoprostol, mucosal protective agents, antibiotics and probiotics, traditional Chinese medicines and their active ingredients, nutritional supplements and other drugs in the past five years, in order to provide reference and basis for the research and development of new NSIs drugs.

ABSTRACT

Anti-N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor (NMDAR) encephalitis is an autoimmune encephalitis mediated by anti-NMDAR antibody. At present, the pathogenesis of the disease is not completely clear, and reliable animal models are of great significance for the study of its pathogenesis and pathophysiological process. The authors reviewed the reports of anti-NMDAR encephalitis′s animal models in recent years, and discussed the advantages and limitations of each model, in order to provide a more suitable animal model for further research on anti-NMDAR encephalitis.

ABSTRACT

Great progress has been made in the treatment of lymphoma in recent decades, but the prognosis for patients with relapsed or refractory lymphoma is often disappointing. Studies have found that the pathogenesis of non-Hodgkin lymphoma is associated with changes in histone acetylation. Histone deacetylase inhibitors can increase the level of histone acetylation in lymphoma cells, and exert anti-lymphoma effects through mechanisms such as cell cycle inhibition, induction of apoptosis, and immunomodulation. However, histone deacetylase inhibitors alone have limited therapeutic effects, and the combination with other antineoplastic drugs for the treatment of relapsing and refractory non-Hodgkin lymphoma has shown good efficacy. Summarizing basic research and clinical trials of histone deacetylase inhibitor containing regimens provides ideas for the treatment of lymphoma.

ABSTRACT

Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is a major cause of chronic liver diseases worldwide and covers a series of pathological manifestations from hepatic steatosis to inflammation, fibrosis, and even liver cirrhosis. NAFLD is associated with a wide range of extrahepatic diseases, including metabolic syndrome, cardiovascular disease, chronic kidney disease, endocrine diseases, obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome, psoriasis, and skeleton-muscle diseases. The major causes of death in patients with NAFLD include cardiovascular disease, malignancies, and liver-related complications, suggesting that extrahepatic diseases associated with NAFLD should be taken seriously by clinicians. This article reviews the research advances in extrahepatic diseases associated with NAFLD, so as to provide ideas for clinical assessment and treatment.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To study risk factors for carbapenem-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii(CRAB)infection, and to provide reference for its clinical prevention. METHODS:In retrospective study,302 A. baumannii(AB)infection patients were collected from our hospital during Dec. 2012 to Jun. 2017. According to the results of drug sensitivity test, those patients were divided into CRAB group(116 cases)and non-CRAB group(186 cases). Risk factors for CRAB infection were analyzed by using univariate analysis. Multivariate Logistic regression analysis was performed for variables with significant difference between 2 groups. RESULTS:Univariate analysis showed that the factors of significant difference in 2 groups including patients suffering from septic shock(P=0.003),sepsis(P=0.000),combined with other infection(P=0.006),diabetes(P=0.029),malignant tumors(P=0.036),patients suffering from infection of other site except for pulmonary infection, intraabdominal infection and skin infection(P=0.009)before AB isolation, patients given carbapenems(P=0.002)and antifungal drugs 28 d before AB isolation(P=0.002). Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that the factors of significant difference in 2 groups including patients suffering from sepsis(P=0.033)or diabetes(P=0.011)before AB isolation. CONCLUSIONS:Independent risk factors for CRAB infection include patients suffer from sepsis or diabetes before AB isolation.

ABSTRACT

The papers on domestic and foreign health information management covered in CNKI and Web of Science from 2011 to 2016 were retrieved. The hotspots and trends in its researches were identified by visual analysis, which showed that they were consistent in hospital information system, information technology and electronic medical records, the whole development level was higher and the involved range was wider and deeper in foreign researches on health information management than in domestic researches on health information management, the connotation of subjects due historical reasons and the key points in foreign researches on health information management were different from those in domestic researches on health information management.

ABSTRACT

Cerebral arteriovenous malformation (AVM) is a common cerebrovascular disease in clinical practice. Although the treatment of AVMs has been w idely studied, the prognosis of the patients does not get significantly improvement. The main therapeutic purpose of AVMs is to reduce the risk of bleeding. This article review s the risk of bleeding and treatment modalities of AVMs.

ABSTRACT

Objective To compare the efficacy of domestic low-dose versus conventional-dose clopidogrel for patients with unstable angina pectoris (UAP). Methods A total of 206 UAP patients were randomly assigned to low-dose clopidogrel (50 mg/day) as treatment group and conventional-dose clopidogrel (75 mg/day) as control group. Treatment continued for 12 months to observe the extent of alleviating angina and major adverse cardiac events (MACE). Results The numbers of markedly effective, effective, ineffective and worse patients were 56(52.8%), 22 (20.8%), 11(10.4%) and 17(16.0%) in treatment group, and those were 52(51.0%), 20 (19.6%), 12(11.8%) and 18(17.7%) in control group (all P>0. 05). There was death in 3 cases, non-fatal myocardial infarction in 2 cases in treatment group, and death in 4 cases, non-fatal myocardial infarction in 2 cases in control group (χ~2 =0. 620, P>0. 05). Low-dose group had a lower incidence of adverse reactions. Conclusions The efficacy of low-dose clopidogrel for patients with UAP is not inferior to conventional-dose, and the safety is well.
