ABSTRACT
Restaurar incisivos centrais fraturados tem sido grande desafio para os cirurgiões-dentistas, pois sua resolução deve obedecer aos requisitos funcionais e estéticos. Este artigo relata um caso clínico de uma paciente jovem com múltiplas fraturas coronárias nos dentes 11 e 21, sem envolvimento pulpar e com invasão do espaço biológico no dente 11. Após exame clínico e radiográfico, optou-se pela colagem autógena dos fragmentos dentários, e no dente 11 foi realizada uma técnica de colagem transcirúrgica. Conclui que a colagem de fragmento dental constitui excelente opção clínica e restabelece a função e a estética.
Restoring fractured maxillary central incisores is a great challenge for the dentist since it involves functional and esthetic requirements. This article is a case report with multiple crown fractures of teeth #11 and #21 without pulp involvement but with invasion of the biological space in the tooth #11. After clinical and radiographic examination, it was chosen bonding the tooth fragments, and in tooth #11 it was performed a transurgical technique before the fragment reattachment. It was concluded that bonding tooth fragments is a good clinical option to restored function and esthetics.
