ABSTRACT

Nurses expend some of their times daily to Patients' education and responding their questions in the hospitals wards. Although these actions are performed in an uncontrolled way and uncoordinated between therapeutic teams but have a vital role in fulfillment of patients' and their families' educational needs. The question is if all patients' and their families' educational requirements are provided in a well organized and comprehensive method? With referring to attending and expert bodies in hospital an educational system was planned and suggested. It was called as patients' in ward education. Various dimensions of this program is determined in detail like; administrative characteristics, manpower needed, necessary equipments, educational items characteristics, and personnel's responsibilities. By implementation of this program and considering all manpower and equipments needed, organization will be able to provide high quality patients' education. Finally it will end to a better level of health status
