ABSTRACT

The present study is carried out evaluate the clinical and radiographic changes of two patients with Papillon-Le Fevre syndrome after four years of using complete denture lined with heat-cured silicone rubber. It can be concluded that atrophy of the upper and lower ridge was clarified in both patients by clinical examination, especially lower one. There was a significant reduction in bone height of lower ridge of both patients. The reduction of bone height of lower ridge was more obvious in female patient. The research clarified the importance of using heat-cured soft lining of complete denture in atrophied ridges of patients suffering from Papillon Le Ferve syndrome with follow-up short intervals
