ABSTRACT

Objective@#To investigate the relationship between the use of earphone and hearing impairment and its influencing factors among students aged 14-28, so as to provide a reference for appropriate earphone usage and hearing impairment prevention.@*Methods@#A cross sectional survey was conducted through the questionnaire star platform, and 983 students aged 14 to 28 were recruited across China by snowball sampling during April 3 to May 1, 2022. The χ 2 test was used to identify indicators affecting hearing, the Logistic regression model was used to further selection.@*Results@#There were 366 students with hearing impairment, accounting for 37.23%. Univariate analysis showed significant differences in hearing impairment by gender, earphone usage duration and volume, wearing during sleep, and replacement frequency ( χ 2=6.03, 6.86, 14.87, 12.22, 11.15, P <0.05). The Logistic regression model analysis showed that girls ( OR=1.43, 95%CI =1.10-1.88), maximum earphone volume ( OR=3.08, 95%CI = 1.56- 6.08), earphone usage for >1.5-3 h each time ( OR=1.44, 95%CI =1.04-1.99), sleep with headphone ( OR= 1.53 , 95%CI = 1.11- 2.11) were positively associated with hearing impairment ( P <0.05), earphone replacement every 4-<6 months ( OR= 0.38, 95%CI =0.17-0.86) and earphone replacement every six months or longer ( OR=0.39, 95%CI =0.18-0.85) were negatively associated with hearing impairment ( P < 0.05 ).@*Conclusion@#Students aged 14 to 28 earphone usage shows adverse impact on hearing. When using earphone, it is recommended to limit time spent on earphone usage, low the volume of earphone, avoid sleeping with earphone and replace earphone frequently.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To explore the feasibility of a classification prediction model for gamma pass rates (GPRs) under different intensity-modulated radiation therapy techniques for pelvic tumors using a radiomics-based machine learning approach, and compare the classification performance of four integrated tree models. Methods:With a retrospective collection of 409 plans using different IMRT techniques, the three-dimensional dose validation results were adopted based on modality measurements, with a GPR criterion of 3%/2 mm and 10% dose threshold. Then prediction were built models by extracting radiomics features based on dose documentation. Four machine learning algorithms were used, namely random forest (RF), adaptive boosting (AdaBoost), extreme gradient boosting (XGBoost), and light gradient boosting machine (LightGBM). Their classification performance was evaluated by calculating sensitivity, specificity, F1 score, and AUC value. Results:The RF, AdaBoost, XGBoost, and LightGBM models had sensitivities of 0.96, 0.82, 0.93, and 0.89, specificities of 0.38, 0.54, 0.62, and 0.62, F1 scores of 0.86, 0.81, 0.88, and 0.86, and AUC values of 0.81, 0.77, 0.85, and 0.83, respectively. XGBoost model showed the highest sensitivity, specificity, F1 score, and AUC value, outperforming the other three models. Conclusions:To build a GPR classification prediction model using a radiomics-based machine learning approach is feasible for plans using different intensity-modulated radiotherapy techniques for pelvic tumors, providing a basis for future multi-institutional collaborative research on GPR prediction.

ABSTRACT

Objective To observe curative effect of lobaplatin plus etoposide, the new antitumor platinum drugs,on the untreated esophageal small cell of carcinoma. Methods Sixteen patients with esophageal small cell of carcinoma were treated using the lobaplatin/vp16 regimen. Results The complete response (CR) rates were 31.3%,partial response (PR)rates were 37.5%,stable disease (SD)rates were 25%,progressive disease (PD) rates were 6.25%,overall response rate (ORR)68.8%.Languor was the most common symptom in the grade -ⅠtoⅣ adverse reactions. All patients had symptoms of languor.Other related symptoms included the anaemia (41.7%), leukocytopenia (39.7%),thrombocytopenia (20.9%),anorexia,vomiting,nausea (29.3%)and increase of ALT and AST (14.5%).The toxic effect was not serious damage. Conclusion Lobaplatin is a new and safe antitumor platinum drug with a promising clinical effect, has a good tolerance in patients, and it can try to be used in the patients who have esophageal small cell of carcinoma.

ABSTRACT

Objective To develop information system for radiotherapy. Methods The radiotherapy information the system adopts B/S structure mode,ACCESS 2010 as the database Server at the front desk, running on the hospital local network, background database is called Oncentra TPS and SQL Server 2008 in Mosaiq system, using ASP programming language network, the system is in Macromedia Dreamweaver 8 platform development. Based on the Internet information services ( IIS) 6. 0 6. 0 build system server service components,IE browser is used to implement the client access server capabilities. Results The information system including system Settings module, physics teacher module, the doctor module, technician module, data statistics and analysis, data download, seven modules such as video teaching. Conclusions The Radiotherapy information system is real?time performance, data security, stable operation, is the key construction for efficient utilization of resources in radiotherapy.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To investigate the effect and elucidate the mechanism of the selective cyclooxygenase-2(COX-2)inhibitor NS-398 on apoptosis and survivin, XIAP and c-IAP1 expressions of hepatocarcinoma cell lines. Methods:The proliferation of hepatocarcinoma BEL-7402 cells treated with NS-298 at different concentrations were evaluated by MTT assay. The apoptosis was detected by flow cytometry (FCM) and TUNEL assay. Expressions of COX-2, survivin, XIAP and c-IAP1 were analyzed by immunocytochemical staining. Results: NS-398 significantly inhibited cell proliferation of BEL-7402 cells and induced apoptosis. Immunocytochemisty indicated that the expressions of COX-2, survivin, XIAP and c-IAP1 were significantly down-regulated in BEL-7402 cells by NS-398 treatment compared with untreatment group (P<0.01). Conclusion:NS-398 inhibits the proliferation and induced apoptosis of BEL-7402 cells. The mechanism may be related with down-regulation of the survivin, XIAP and c-IAP1 expression.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To investigate the cytokine profile expressed by CIK cells. Methods:CIK cells were induced from peripheral blood mononuclear cells in the presence of IFN-?,IL-1?,IL-2 and mAb against CD3. The phenotype and characterization of CIK cells were identified by flow cytometric analysis.Cytokine expression profiles were determined at mRNA level by semi-quantitative RT-PCR.Results:The percentage of CD3~+CD56~+ positive cells reached up to or higher than 50%.CIK cells couldn't express IFN-?、IFN-? and IFN-? under this kind of condition. But they could express IFNs principally on day 10 to 20. The level of ILs went down after steadily expressed on day 6 to 10(or 20).TNF-? and TRAIL constitutively expressed during the culture period in vitro. TNF-? maintained high expression on day 20.TGF-?_1 mainly expressed on day 30.Conclusion:CIK cells can widely express various kinds of cytokines in vitro.
