ABSTRACT
Depressive disorder is a common mental disorder. At present, the diagnosis of depressive disorder mainly relies on patients' self-reported symptoms and clinical interviews which are relatively subjective. As one of the new technologies assisting diagnosis and therapeutic effect evaluation of depressive disorder, near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) has received a lot of attention in recent years. This article reviewed studies of using NIRS in the diagnosis and therapeutic effect evaluation of depressive disorder in the past five years. The review showed that NIRS could reflect abnormal hemodynamic activities of the prefrontal cortex and temporal cortex of patients with depressive disorder, especially the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex and inferior frontal gyrus.Changes of concentration of oxygenated hemoglobin in these areas showed higher accuracy in assisting the diagnosis of depression disorder.Until now, only a few longitudinal studies utilized NIRS to compare changes of cerebral hemodynamic activities at different time points of treatment which preliminarily confirmed the potential of NIRS in the evaluation of therapeutic effects of depressive disorder. In future, more large-scale studies will be needed to further determine the specific application standards for NIRS in the diagnosis and therapeutic effect evaluation of depressive disorder.

ABSTRACT
OBJECTIVE: The present study is to evaluate the biological functions of long non-coding RNA (lncRNA), X-inactive specific transcript, X-inactive specific transcript (XIST) in human epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC). METHODS: XIST was upregulated in EOC cell lines, CAOV3 and OVCAR3 cells by lentiviral transduction. The effects of XIST overexpression on cancer cell proliferation, invasion, chemosensitivity and in vivo tumor growth were investigated, respectively. Possible sponging interaction between XIST and human microRNA hsa-miR-214-3p was further evaluated. Furthermore, hsa-miR-214-3p was overexpressed in XIST-upregulated CAOV3 and OVCAR3 cells to evaluate its effect on XIST-mediated EOC regulation. RESULTS: Lentivirus-mediated XIST upregulation had significant anticancer effects in CAOV3 and OVCAR3 cells by suppressing cancer cell proliferation, invasion, increasing cisplatin chemosensitivity and inhibiting in vivo tumor growth. Hsa-miR-214-3p was confirmed to directly bind XIST, and inversely downregulated in XIST-upregulated EOC cells. In EOC cells with XIST upregulation, secondary lentiviral transduction successfully upregulated hsa-miR-214-3p expression. Subsequently, hsa-miR-214-3p upregulation functionally reversed the anticancer effects of XIST-upregulation in EOC. CONCLUSION: Upregulation of lncRNA XIST may suppress EOC development, possibly through sponging effect to induce hsa-miR-214-3p downregulation.

ABSTRACT
Objective To review the neuron synaptic plasticity in hioppocampus in the pathogenesis of depression in present studies, and expected to provide reference and basis for study of depression in clinic and model. Methods The wordsdepression, antidepression, chronic unpredictable stimulate, hippocampus, synapse, plasticity were used as index words.Analysis the relationship of depression or antidepression and synaptic plasticity in hippocampus from the results of researches enrolled at home or abroad.Summarize the effect of neuron synaptic plasticity in hioppocampus in the pathogenesis of depression.Result Totally 37 articles enrolled. They show the onset of depression or antidepressant processes always combine with the damage or recover of neuron synaptic plasticity. Conclusion The reduction or damage in synaptic plasticity in hippocampus is likely to be the pathogenesis of depression, like the changes of function or expression of SYN-1,MAP-2,SYT-1,PSD-95 or any other synapse-associated proteins.Meanwhile, studies of using enrich environment to treat depression indicated that depression is likely related to the synaptic plasticity in hippocampus in another way.But who are the synapse-associated proteins related to synaptic plasticity in depression? How to design the enrich environment.? These still need further study.

ABSTRACT
To observe the therapeutic effects of segmental resection and decompression combined with joint prosthesis on continuous knee osteoarthritis [OA]. A total of 130 patients with knee OA were selected and randomly divided into an observation group and a control group [n=65]. The control group was treated by segmental resection in combination with joint prosthesis, and the observation group was treated by segmental resection and decompression combined with joint prosthesis. They were followed-up for three months. All patients underwent successful surgeries during which no severe complications occurred. During the follow-up period, the overall effective rates of the observation group and the control group were 93.8% and 78.5% respectively, which were not statistically significantly different [p < 0.05]. The observation group was significantly less prone to patellar instability, infection and deep vein thrombosis compared with the control group [P < 0.05]. On the same day after surgery, the knee joint scores and functional scores of the two groups were similar, which evidently increased three months later, with significant intra-group and inter-group differences [p < 0.05]. Combining segmental resection and decompression with joint prosthesis gave rise to satisfactory short-term prognosis by effectively improving the flexion and extension of injured knee and by decreasing complications, thus being worthy of promotion in clinical practice

In this study, metabolism of nobiletin in rats was studied using ultra-performance liquid chromatography coupled with tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS). As a result, seven major metabolites were found in bile, urine and serum of rats. Three phase I products were assigned to be demethyl and di-demethyl products, and other four phase II products were assigned to be glucuronic and sulfonic conjugates. The four phase II metabolites were reported for the first time. Among the metabolites found in the present study, the glucuronic conjugates of demethyl-nobiletin played a predominant role in the metabolic pathway, indicating that its potential role for glucuronidation-related factors, such as gene polymorphism, drug-drug interaction, etc., in changing the active and toxic effect of nobiletin and that it should be paid more attention in further development.
