ABSTRACT

ObjectiveTo systematically evaluate the clinical effectiveness and safety of Chinese medicinal injection (CMI) in the treatment of unstable angina pectoris (UAP). MethodEight databases, i.e., China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI),VIP,Wanfang Data,CBM,PubMed,EMBASE,The Cochrane Library, and Web of Science were searched for randomized controlled trials (RCT) of conventional treatment combined with CMI (treatment group) versus conventional treatment (CT)(control group)in the treatment of UAP published from database inception to March 31th 2021. Stata 16.0 was used for network Meta-analysis. ResultThirty-nine RCT involving 3 407 patients were included. As revealed by the results of network Meta-analysis, in terms of the total effective rate in angina pectoris improvement, the therapeutic protocols were ranked as Tanreqing injection(TRQI)+CT>Xiangdan injection(XDI)+CT>Ciwujia injection(CWJI)+CT=Shengmai injection(SMI)+CT>Xuesaitong injection(XSTS)+CT>Breviscapine injection(BI)+CT>Shuxuetong injection(SXTI)+CT>Kudiezi injection(KDZI)+CT>Shuxuening injection(SXNI)+CT>Danshen injection (DSI)+CT>Guanxinning injection(GXNI)+CT>Dengzhanxixin injection(DZXXI)+CT>Xueshuantong injection(XSTI)+CT>Gualoupi injection(GLPI)+CT>CT;for the total effective rate in ECG improvement, SXTI+CT>XDI+CT>TRQI+CT>CWJI+CT>XSTI+CT>BI+CT>XSTI+CT>SXNI+CT>GXNI+CT>KDZI+CT>DZXXI+CT>GLPI+CT>CT>SMI+CT;for the adverse reactions, DZXXI+CT>XDI+CT>DSI+CT>BI+CT>SMI+CT>SXNI+CT>CT>GLPI+CT>GXNI+CT>SXTI+CT>KDZI+CT>CWJI+CT;for the reduction of fibrinogen (FIB), BI+CT>SXTI+CT>XSTI+CT>CT>KDZI+CT;for the reduction of C-reactive protein (CRP), DSI+CT>DZXXI+CT>XSTI+CT>CT;for the reduction of high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP), SXNI+CT>KDZI+CT>SXTI+CT>DZXXI+CT>GLPI+CT>TRQI+CT>XSTI+CT>CT. The results of subgroup analyses were consistent with those of the overall Meta-analysis. ConclusionCMI combined with CT can improve angina pectoris and ECG,reduce adverse reactions, and also improve FIB,CRP,and hs-CRP to varying degrees. However, due to the differences in the quality and quantity of CMIs in RCTs,clinical application should be performed based on the specific conditions.

ABSTRACT

Huanshao capsule is widely used in irregular menstruation and has achieved a good effect. Huanshao capsule can promote gonad development in mice, significantly improve the ovarian index in mice, increase estrogen level and reduce FSH level in rats, inhibit the pain response induced by oxytocin and estrogen, inhibit writhing reaction induced by acetic acid pain in mice. Due to the complexity of traditional Chinese medical formula, the pharmacological mechanism of the treatment on the irregular menstruation of the Huanshao capsule is unclear. In this study, the internet-based computation platform (www.tcmip.cn)was used to explore the molecular mechanism of Huanshao capsule on the menstrual. The aim of this study was to find the molecular mechanism of Huanshao capsule in treating menstrual. In the study of the molecular mechanism of Huanshao capsule in the treatment of menstrual by using the internet-based computation platform, Huanshao capsule maybe treat the menstrual by the pathway of endocrine system, GnRH signal transduction pathway, estrogen signal transduction pathway, oxytocin signaling pathway, thyroid hormone signaling pathway, VEGF signaling pathway, FCεRI signaling pathway and purine metabolism and nucleotide metabolism. The early pharmacological study confirmed Huanshao capsule could increase the serum estradiol level and decrease follicle stimulating hormone level and the traditional Chinese medicine pharmacology coincide with the prediction result of internet-based computation platform which roles as the pathway of GnRH signaling pathway and estrogen signal transduction pathway. Other pathway needs further experimental verification.

ABSTRACT

[ABSTRACT]OBJECTIVETo investigate the diagnosis, treatment method, key points of operation, and postoperative complications of high-risk esophageal foreign body.METHODSA retrospective analysis of 41 cases of high-risk esophageal foreign body from January 1996 to December 2014. After adequate preparation, the foreign body was removed via esophageal endoscope under general anesthesia.RESULTSThe foreign bodies in 41 patients were removed via esophageal endoscope once or twice. Two cases suffered postoperative subcutaneous emphysema, that may be a result of a small perforation in esophagus. Emphysema was disappeared by fast, rehydration and anti-infection for 6 to 8 days, and other serious complications did not occur.CONCLUSIONMost high-risk esophageal foreign bodies can be removed through rigid esophagoscopy. Some of the foreign bodies of the patients were difficult to remove, some patients were presented with mediastinal emphysema and pneumothorax due to esophageal perforation, and some foreign body stuck in oesophagus so long to cause esophageal mucosa ulcer. In these conditions, foreign bodies should be removed by lateral neck incision or thoracotomy.

ABSTRACT

Objective To research the Alzheimer disease(AD) patients' hippocampal structure and cognitive function with the susceptibility weighted imaging (SWI) and morphological measurement, and explore the changing regularity and correlation. Methods Sixty patients (divided equally into mild, moderate and major group as the condition of the severity of the AD) and 20 healthy control groups were scanned with SWI and T1MR,then the differences between AD and healthy controls were analyzed. Results The hippocampal volumes of AD patients were smaller than that of control group. The biggest variability occured in the major group(the left was Dunnett-t =-7.03,P < 0.01 ;the right was Dunnett-t =-7.52,P < 0.01),the moderate group was next(the left was Dunnett-t =-6.71,P < 0.01 ; the right was Dunnett-t =-6.62,P < 0.01) ;and the least variability occurred in the mild group. They did not achieve statistical significance (the left was Dunnett-t =-0.86,P> 0.05 ;the right was Dunnett-t =-0.68,P > 0.05).The hippocampus vein' s length, diameter had reduced significantly in the mild group(Dunnett-t were-5.62,-7.02,P< 0.001),but the number of the branches was slightly increased, which was close to the statistical significance.(Dunnett-t =1.86,P > 0.05).With the progress of the AD,all of the hippocampus vein's length, diameter, and branches were reduced significantly(the Dunnett-t of the moderate were-10.10,-11.40,-2.83,P<0.05;the Dunnett-tofthe major were-11.69,-14.68,-5.74,P< 0.001).AD patients blood vessel diameter, length and cognitive have correlation(r =-0.034 ~-0.517,P <0.05,P < 0.01).Conclusion The hippocampus vein and cognitive function function change in AD patients happened in the mild stages of disease. An important supplement to the MRI conventional sequences.

ABSTRACT

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To study the effect of diubiquitin (FAT10) down-regulation by small interfering RNA-mediated RNA interference (RNAi) on the biological features of tongue carcinoma cell line Tca8113.</p><p><b>METHODS</b>Tca8113 cells were transfected with synthetic small interfering RNA (siRNA) targeting FAT10. Expression of FAT10 mRNA and protein were respectively measured by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and Western blotting, transfection efficiencies were monitored. The distribution of cell cycle phases was determined using flow cytometry. The proliferative and invasive ability of Tca8113 cells in vitro was evaluated by the colony-forming unit assay and Transwell migration assay respectively.</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>Both FAT10 mRNA and protein expression were significantly decreased in the experimental group (pU-FAT10-siRNA: mRAN 0.36 ± 0.03, Protein 0.39 ± 0.04) compared with controls (</p><p><b>CONTROL</b>mRNA 0.95 ± 0.05, Protein 0.69 ± 0.05; pU-siRNA: mRNA 0.92 ± 0.07, Protein 0.64 ± 0.05) (P < 0.05). The cell cycle was arrested in the G(1) phase [pU-FAT10-siRNA: (72.45 ± 5.81)%,</p><p><b>CONTROL</b>(45.95 ± 3.80)%, pU-siRNA: (45.95 ± 3.80)%]. The proliferation and invasiveness of treated Tca8113 cells were inhibited in vitro (pU-FAT10-siRNA: 41.83 ± 8.19, CONTROL: 317.21 ± 69.48, pU-siRNA: 339.36 ± 73.84).</p><p><b>CONCLUSIONS</b>Delivery of siRNA targeting FAT10 seems efficient in down-regulating FAT10 expression and diminishing the growth, proliferation and invasiveness of Tca8113 cells, suggesting that siRNA-based strategy targeting FAT10 may lay a foundation for the clinical management of tongue carcinoma.</p>

ABSTRACT

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To evaluate the safety of living related donors in short term after transplantation.</p><p><b>METHODS</b>Two hundred and fifty-one cases of living related donor kidney transplantation from May 2000 to July 2007 were analysed retrospectively. There were 117 male and 134 female aged from 22 to 72 years old, with a mean of 46.6 years old. The indexes were compared including serum creatinine (SCr), creatinine clearance (CCr), glomerular filtration rate (GFR) and quality of life before and after donation. Surgical complications were followed-up.</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>Donors' SCr was (75.9 +/- 17.2) micromol/L before donation, (107.4 +/- 21.2) micromol/L on 7 d after donation, (130.4 +/- 58.2) micromol/L at the 1(st) month and (116.1 +/- 24.1) micromol/L at the 3(rd) month. There were significant difference between any 2 time points (P < 0.01). CCr was (94.4 +/- 17.5) ml/min before donation and (63.5 +/- 17.8) ml/min on 10 d after donation (P < 0.01). In 62 donors, total GFR was (82.4 +/- 21.8) ml/min before donation. On 10 d after donation, GFR of remaining kidney was (57.4 +/- 14.1) ml/min which was 34.7% higher than GFR of this kidney before donation (42.6 +/- 11.8) ml/min. There was no significant difference in quality of life before living related donors and non-donor populations (P = 0.116). Surgical complications included splenic rupture in 1 case, descending colon rupture in 1 case and wound infection in 5 cases.</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>Living donor kidney transplantation is safe for donors, although part of indexes would vary within normal range during the early time after donation.</p>
