ABSTRACT
Objective:Comprehensively review national and provincial policies related to centralized procurement of Chinese Patent Medicines(CPM)and to compare the grouping rules and methods of centralized procurement in different regions, with the goal of providing guidance for enhancing the grouping rules for CPM.Methods:Through literature analysis and comparative analysis, the 22 policies included in the study were analyzed in depth, and the progress of centralized volume-based procurement of CPM in national and inter-provincial alliances was compared and summarized. Results:National and inter-provincial alliances'centralized volume-based procurement of CPM divides procurement groups according to functional indications, route of administration, and market conditions. The grouping rules are not closely related to drug dosage forms and quality.Dividing bidding groups based on the market competition pattern ignores the innovative value of some CPM,and does not take into account the unique brand value of the company and its drugs. The completeness of the grouping rules needs to be improved. Conclusions:There are many dosage forms of CPM and complex quality control indicators. The existing grouping rules follow the idea of grouping chemical drugs and lack a top-level design oriented to the value of CPM.It is recommended to adopt a diversified grouping method and advance the technical evaluation link in the existing shortlisting rules. This means that factors such as drug dosage form, quality and innovation value should be considered when formulating grouping rules. At the same time,it is necessary to improve and refine the current grouping rules.

Result:The associated plants were investigated based on 42 samples of mountain cultivated ginseng collected. A total of 95 plant species were identified. The correlation analysis was made on the six main species with an occurrence frequency of higher than 33%, and they were all positively correlated. Asarum heterotropoides var. mandshuricum was the strongest, which was followed by Schisandra chinensis, and Tilia tuan was the strongest in the arbor layer. The survey also found many problems in these areas, such as fewer large-scale planting bases, more scattered households, mixed germplasms, irregular planting techniques, simple planting mode and less sources of economic income generation. Conclusion:Xifeng county,Kuandian county and Huanren county of Liaoning province boast a superior ecological environment and abundant resources of mountain cultivated P. ginseng. The survey gets the whole picture of the ecological environment and associated plants of mountain cultivated P. ginseng in representative areas of Liaoning province,so as to provide the basis for the further development of mountain cultivated P. ginseng cultivation industry and the promotion of mountain cultivated Panax ginseng economy.
ABSTRACT
Objective:To determine the test-retest reliability of lumbar passive reposition accuracy for older people. Methods:A total of 58 healthy older people stood on an isokinetic dynamometer, and passively moved their trunk forward and backward to the target positions as accurately as possible. The targeted positions were set as flexion forward 15°, 30° and 60°, and flexion backward 15°. The absolute error (AE) was recorded. They were tested again a week latter. The intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) and standard errors of measurement (SEM and SEM%) were calculated. Results:The ICC of AE was 0.699 to 0.833 for all the subjects, SEM was 1.18 to 3.26, and SEM% was 26.84% to 37.13%. For the men, the ICC was 0.462 to 0.818, SEM was 1.60 to 3.68, and SEM% was 36.37% to 48.78%. For the women, the ICC was 0.782 to 0.891, SEM was 1.48 to 2.71, and SEM% was 28.48% to 33.34%. Conclusions:Lumbar passive reposition accuracy is some reliable to assess the position sense for older people. However, there are too large errors for clinical measurement, which need further improvment.
ABSTRACT
Objective:To compare the difference in the onset time of the trunk muscles activity in individuals with and without nonspecific low back pain (NLBP) during upper limb flexion and abduction. Methods:From September to December, 2017, 21 patients with NLBP (NLBP group) and 21 volunteers (control group) participated in this study. Surface electromyography (sEMG) signals were recorded from the anterior deltoid, middle deltoid, multifidus and erector spinae muscles during upper limb flexion and abduction in standing position. Relative differences in the onset times between each muscle and the prime mover were calculated. Results:During upper limb flexion, the right multifidus muscle, bilateral erector spinae were activated in advance of the agonist muscle (anterior deltoid), while the left multifidus muscle was delayed relative to the agonist muscle in both groups. The onset time of the right erector spinae was significantly delayed in NLBP group than in the control group (t = -2.393, P = 0.019). During upper limb abduction, bilateral multifidus muscle and bilateral erector spinae were activated in advance of the agonist muscle (middle deltoid) in the control group. Additionally, in NLBP group, the left erector spinae was activated in advance of the agonist muscle, bilateral multifidus and right erector spinae were delayed relative to the agonist muscle. There was no significant difference in the relative onset time between both groups (t < 1.393, P > 0.05). Conclusion:During upper limb flexion and abduction, the trunk muscles of the lower back are activated in advance for healthy individuals, while individuals with NLBP have a possibly delayed activation of trunk muscles.

ABSTRACT
Herba Anoectochili is a commonly used medicinal material. However, its adulteration is a serious concern. Due to the similar morphological characteristics of Herba Anoectochili and its adulterants, traditional identification techniques often fail to distinguish between them accurately, which is not conducive to the circulation management and safety of the medicinal materials. To improve the distinction between Herba Anoectochili and its adulterants accurately, this study identified 41 Herba Anoectochili and its adulterant samples based on the ITS2 sequence. Sequence characteristics, Basic Local Alignment Search Tool (BLAST) application, genetic distance, construction of phylogenetic tree, secondary structure prediction, and other methods showed the ITS2 sequence to accurately identify Herba Anoectochili from its adulterants. Furthermore, in this study, we designed a specific primer, based on the ITS2 sequence, and established a real-time PCR detection system for the rapid, sensitive, and specific identification of the original plant of Herba Anoectochili. Compared to DNA barcoding technology, this method has shorter detection time, stronger specificity, and higher sensitivity, which lays the foundation for the rapid identification of Herba Anoectochili.
ABSTRACT
Cultivated ginseng in the farmland would become the mainly planting mode of Panax ginseng. However, there are relatively few cultivation ginseng varieties for farmland in China. Correlative analysis of qualitity and agronomic traits of P. ginseng cultivation in the farmland could provide a reference for the selection of excellent germplasm and new variety breeding of P. ginseng. In this study, the main index of saponin and agronomic traits of 4-6 years' samples were analyzed by UPLC and measured. The results show that there was significant difference in agronomic indexes of Damaya. The coefficient of variation of the root length( CV = 41. 97%) and fresh weight( CV = 31. 81%) were maximum, and the coefficient of variation of the stems thickness( 16. 72%) and root thickness were minimum. There was a significant correlation between yield and root thickness( P<0. 05). There was significant difference in drug yield of different harvest years( P<0. 05),and the yield of 6-years was 31. 52%-39. 69% higher than 4-years. However, there wasn't significant difference in total ginsenosides between 4 and 6 years old P. ginseng, but there was significant difference in ginseng Rg2,Rc and Rb2( P<0. 05),and the ginsenoside contents of different harvesting years were accorded with the criterion standards of 2015 Chinese Pharmacopoeia. There was no significant correlation between the saponin and the agronomic trait, while there was positive correlation with root thickness( P < 0. 05). Therefore, the stem diameter was positive correlation with yield of P. ginseng. Selection of the stem thickness of seedlings is beneficial to the increase of the yield and breeding of P. ginseng.
