ABSTRACT
Head and neck malignant tumor is one of the most heterogeneous diseases. The multi-disciplinary team(MDT)is an essen-tial component for personal precise diagnosis, treatment and integrated care management of oncologic diseases including head and neck malignant tumor.MDT clinical practice is also an important teaching mode for head and neck malignant tumors, but it is limited by time and space in actual teaching. An internet visualization platform was constructed based on the Internet, hospital HIS/PACS/LIS/EMR system, medical visualization screen, oral endoscope, remote consultation platform and other accessible audio and video terminals, and has been applied in MDT clinical teaching of head and neck malignant tumors, allowing medical students to participate in MDT through a networked visualization platform.Medical students will achieve deep learning for the most heterogeneous malignant tumor.MDT sup-ported by the internet visualization platform provides a new pathway for clinical medical education.
ABSTRACT
Objective To study the correlation between semen quality and bacterial infection in men with abnormal fer-tility,and provide clinical basis for guiding the reproductive health of men with abnormal fertility. Methods 200 male semen samples with abnormal fertility were collected, and then separated and cultured for 48 hours.According to the culture results, they were divided into three groups:the non-pathogenic group, the pathogenic group, and the sterile group. The bacterial resist-ance analysis of the pathogenic group was conducted, and the semen quality between each group was compared. Results After 48 hours of isolation and cultivation,200 semen samples had been tested,non-pathogenic bacteria was detected in 163 semen samples, accounting for 81.5% ;pathogenic bacteria was detected in 33 semen samples, accounting for 16.5% ;and bacteria was not detected in 4 semen samples, accounting for 2.0% .The top three strains of pathogenic bacteria in 33 cases were Escherichia coli,Streptococcus agalactiae, and Enterococcus faecalis, with drug resistance rates of 80.0% ,87.5% ,and 100.0% ,respec-tively.Conclusion The detection rate of bacterial culture in semen of men with abnormal fertility is relatively high, and patho-genic bacteria can affect semen quality.
ABSTRACT
Objective To investigate the feasibility of high resolution melting(HRM)curve analysis technique for detecting β-thalassemia gene mutations. Methods The HRM method was used to detect five kinds of common β-thalassemia mutations (-28, CD17,CD41-42,CD71-72 and IVS-2-654)in Guangdong province.Sixty specimens of the patients with suspectedβ-thalassemia were performed the HRM analysis. The results of HRM analysis were confirmed by the direct DNA sequencing. Results Among 60 specimens of the patients with suspectedβ-thalassemia,12 cases of heterozygosis mutant gene were detected, including 3 cases of-28,2 cases of CD17,5 cases of CD41-42,2 cases of CD71-72 and 2 cases of IVS-2-654 gene mutation;2 cases of homozygosis mu-tant gene were detected, including 1 case of-28 and 1 case of CD41-42 homozygous mutation (both were amniotic fluid specimens). The results of HRM analysis were consistent with the DNA sequencing results. Conclusion The HRM method can accurately de-tect five kinds of common β-thalassemia mutations in Guangdong province, has the advantages of simpleness, rapidness and high sensitivity and is expected to be a new method for screening β-thalassemia mutation in clinic.
ABSTRACT
With the further development of education informatization, the popularity of computer simulation technology and multimedia network technology were increasing. The teaching center of school of stomatology in the fourth military medical university combined stomatology teaching with information technology and gradually applied diversified teaching mode in the dental clinical experiment teaching, which not only saved the input of faculty and consumables items, but also improved the stomatology experimental teaching quality and achieve the teaching modernization.
ABSTRACT
@# ObjectiveTo explore the efficacy and side-effects of reboxitine on post-schizophrenic depression.Methods30 patients with post-schizophrenic depression according CCMD-Ⅲ accepted reboxitine 4~8 mg/d in addition to antipsychotic drugs for 6 weeks. Efficacy and side-effects were determined with Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD), Brief Psychiatric Rating Scale (BPRS), Scale for Assessment of Negative Symptoms (SANS), Treatment Emergent Symptom Scale (TESS) before and 2, 4, 6 weeks after treatment. ResultsThe score of HAMD were obviously improved after the treatment(P<0.01), as well as that of negative psychotic symptoms in BPRS and TESS. Slight symptoms that may be associated to the Reboxitine were obvioused seldom, and all recovered without any treating. ConclusionLow-dose rebositine is effective on post-schizophrenic depression with few side-effects and good compliance.
