ABSTRACT

Objective:To evaluate the application effect of online CBL teaching method under the background of emerging infectious diseases.Methods:With the help of network platforms, using CBL teaching method, through the students viewing online cases, making analysis and summary, and then sending online, in the form of interaction between teachers and students, the teaching work during the epidemic was successfully completed. Finally, the teaching effects of the two semesters before and after the epidemic were compared by means of total semester scores and questionnaires. And chi-square test and t test was adopted for statistical analysis. Results:The practice proved that online CBL teaching method could help students to achieve the same teaching effect as the traditional teaching method in the teaching of infectious diseases.Conclusion:Therefore, online CBL teaching method is worth popularizing in the background of emerging infectious diseases.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To investigate the correlation between methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR) gene polymorphism and early neurological deterioration (END) in Han population with acute ischemic stroke in Chengdu area, and the interaction with other traditional risk factors.Methods:Consecutive Han patients with acute ischemic stroke admitted to the Department of Neurology, the Third People's Hospital of Chengdu from January 2017 to June 2019 were enrolled prospectively. Using the candidate gene association study method, MTHFR gene C677T polymorphism was used as a genetic marker to analyze the correlation between END and MTHFR gene polymorphism, and analyze the interaction of gene-END traditional risk factors.Results:A total of 434 patients with acute ischemic stroke were enrolled in the study, and 129 had END (29.7%). Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that hyperglycemia (odds ratio [ OR] 2.410, 95% confidence interval [ CI] 1.436-4.046; P<0.001), hyperhomocysteinemia ( OR 2.570, 95% CI 1.229-5.376; P=0.012) and moderate to severe neurological deficit (baseline National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale score >5) ( OR 2.158, 95% CI 1.337-3.484; P=0.002) at admission were independently correlated with END. There was a correlation between C677T polymorphism and END. TT genotype ( OR 1.710, 95% CI 1.021-2.863; P=0.002) and A allele ( OR 1.583, 95% CI 1.181-2.121; P=0.002) could significantly increase the risk of END. Interaction analysis showed that there was interaction effect between C677T polymorphism and hyperglycemia at admission, alcohol drinking and moderate to severe neurological deficit. Interaction could increase the risk of END, but it did not reach statistical significance ( OR 1.237, 95% CI 0.227-6.734; P=0.806). Conclusion:MTHFR gene C677T polymorphism and hyperhomocysteinemia are associated with END in Han population with acute ischemic stroke in Chengdu area.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To provide scientifi c evidence for improving the quality standard of Mongolian medicine Juniperus rigida. METHODS :Totally 10 batches of J. rigida from different places were taken as samples to observe their characters and identify them by microscope ;TLC method was adopted to qualitatively identify isoquercitrin ,quercitrin,amentoflavone, podocarpusflavone A and hinokiflavone ;the contents of total ash ,acid-insoluble ash ,ethanol-soluble extract and heavy metals were determined by related method stated in 2020 edition of Chinese Pharmacopeia (part Ⅳ). The contents of above 5 components in samples were determined by HPLC. RESULTS :The powder of J. rigida was green or yellowish green ,polygonal tracheids , closely arranged in longitudinal with unequal stomatal ;epidermal cells were nearly rectangular ;sclerenchyma cells were quasi rectangular and the wall beadedly thickening. Results of TLC showed that the spots of the same color were found in the corresponding positions of chromatogram for test sample and substance control. The contents of total ash ,acid-insoluble ash and ethanol-soluble extract in 10 batches of samples were 7.37%-11.18%,0.75%-2.98%,16.55%-26.42%,respectively;average contents were 8.51%,1.27%,22.35%. The contents of lead ,arsenic,cadmium,mercury and copper were 2.00-5.44,0.65-1.65, 0.044-0.100,0.034-0.160,4.59-6.79 mg/kg,respectively;average conte nts were 3.73,0.97,0.078,0.061,5.23 mg/kg. The linear ranges of isoquercitrin ,quercitrin,amentoflavone,podocarpus- flavone A and hinokiflavone were 4.98-20.02,49.99-199.96, 19.94-99.96,9.99-40.00,20.20-159.98 μg/mL(all r>0.999 7); com RSDs of precision ,repeatability and stability (24 h) tests were all less than 3.00%(n=6);the average recoveries were 话:0993-2057878。E-mail:Tanghuishz@qq.com 100.62%-102.96%,RSDs were 1.21%-1.88%(n=6). Average contents of the above-mentioned 5 compounds in 10 batches of samples were 0.089-0.379,1.379-4.250,1.077-2.026,0.162-0.423, 0.016 9-0.117 0 mg/g,respectively. CONCLUSIONS :The qualitative and quantitative analysis methods of Mongolian medicine J. rigida are established. It is preliminarily proposed that the total ash content shall not exceed 10.22%,the acid-insoluble ash content shall not exceed 1.53%,ethanol-soluble extract content shall not be less than 17.88%,heavy metal lead should not exceed 5 mg/kg,arsenic should not exceed 2 mg/kg,cadmium should not exceed 0.3 mg/kg,mercury should not exceed 0.2 mg/kg,copper should not exceed 20 mg/kg.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To investigate the prenatal genetic testing for suspected Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome (BWS) to improve its prenatal diagnosis rate.Methods:This study reported a pregnant woman, who had a pregnant history of termination due to the same reason at 18 weeks, with fetal acromphalus and unusually thickened placenta indicated by ultrasound examination at 13 weeks of gestation. After chorionic villus sampling, single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) array was used to analyze copy number variations in the whole genome, and methylation-specific multiplex ligation-dependent probe amplification (MS-MLPA) was also performed to detect the methylation and copy number variations in H19 and KCNQ1 genes on chromosome 11p15. Peripheral blood samples were collected from the couple for chromosome G-banding karyotype analysis and SNP array. Results:The SNP array indicated a 176 kb heterozygous deletion in the 11p15.5 region. MS-MLPA revealed a loss of methylation at imprinting control region 2 and a 50% reduction of copy numbers of KCNQ1 (L02903) gene. No abnormality was found in the parents in the SNP array and G-banding karyotype analysis. The fetus was prenatally diagnosed with BWS. Conclusions:When intrauterine abnormalities, such as acromphalus and abnormal thickening of the placenta, are found by ultrasound during early pregnancy, prenatal genetic tests related to BWS, including MS-MLPA and SNP array, are suggested to avoid a missed diagnosis of BWS.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To detect the expression of inhibitor of DNA binding-2(ID-2) in colorectal adenocarcinoma and analyze its relationship with proliferation.Methods:A total of 67 patients with colorectal adenocarcinoma diagnosed in North China University of Science and Technology Affiliated Hospital were selected from November 2014 to September 2015, tumor tissue as the research objects.All patients underwent radical operation.The tumor tissue was taken as the observation group, and the normal colonic mucosa tissue>3 cm from the edge of the tumor was taken as the control group.Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of ID-2 of the two groups and the Ki67 of cancer tissue.SW480 cell line of ID-2 overexpression was constructed.The expression of proliferating cell nuclear antigen(PCNA)was detected by Western Blot.Cell activity was detected by CCK-8 test.Correlation was analyzed between ID-2 and Ki67 by pearman correlation analysis.Prognostic value of ID-2 was analyzed by Kaplan-Meier survival analysis and Log-rank test in colorectal adenocarcinoma.Results:The positive rate of ID-2 was 49.3%(33/67) in the observation group, which was higher than 9.0%(6/67) in the control group, and the difference between the two groups was was statistically significant(χ 2=23.927, P<0.05). In the observation group, the expression of ID-2 was statistically significant in different invasion depth(serosa and extraserosa was 68.7%(22/32), serosa and extraserosa was 31.4%(11/35)), degree of differentiation(low differentiation was 80.0%(8/10), medium differentiation was 57.9%(11/19), high differentiation was 36.8%(14/38)), clinical stage(Ⅲ and Ⅳ stage were 64.3%(18/28), Ⅰ and Ⅱ stage were 38.5%(15/39)), lymph node metastasis(metastasis was 70.8%(17/24), no metastasis was 37.2%(16/43)) and tumor thrombus(yes was 75.0%(12/16), no was 41.2%(21/51)). The difference was statistically significant (χ 2 value were 6.311, 4.023, 4.349, 6.967 and 5.575, respectively, all P<0.05). Positive correlation was found between ID-2 and Ki67( r=0.65, P<0.05). Survival analysis showed that the expression of ID-2 was related to the prognosis of patients (X2=5.29, P=0.013). Compared with empty vector transfection group and blank control group, the expressions of PCNA and the activity ID-2 overexpression colon cancer cells increased( P<0.05). Conclusion:The higher expression of ID-2 is related to clinicopathological features and prognosis in colorectal adenocarcinoma.The abnormal expression of ID-2 may play a role in regulating the proliferation of colon adenocarcinoma.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To improve the quality standard of M ongolian med icine Artemisia sacrorum ,and to provide scientific basis for comprehensive quality evaluation. METHODS :The appearance and microscopic characteristics of A. sacrorum were identified;scopoletin,chlorogenic acid ,caffeic acid ,scopoletin and 3,5-dicaffeoylquinic acid were identified quantitatively by TLC;the contents of above 5 components were determined by HPLC. The water content ,total ash and extract were examined. RESULTS:The stem of A. sacrorum was cylindrical ,and its surface was purple or purple-brown or cyan-brown ;the leaves were ovate or oblong-ovate ,fragrant;the flowers were yellow ,head-shaped,subglobose or hemispherical. The powder was green or yellow-green,its pollen grain had three germination ;the parenchymal cell clusters with sharp edges and numerous threaded ducts , occasionally having marginal pitted ducts ;its wood fibers were in bundles mostly. Results of TLC showed that the spots of the same color were found in the corresponding positions of chromatogram for 5 substance control and samples. The linear range of scopoletin, chlorogenic acid , caffeic acid , scopolactone and 3,5-dicaffeoylquinic acid were 85.60-428.00, 10.16-101.60, 10.20-102.00,40.84-408.40 and 40.80-408.00 μg/mL(all r>0.999 0). RSDs of precision ,stability,repeatability tests were all less than 3.00%(n=6). The average recoveries were 103.07%,99.66%,98.37%,97.78%,98.40%(all RSDs <3.00%,n=6). The contents of the above-mentioned 5 compounds in 10 batches of samples were 0.36%-1.23%,0.09%-0.51%,0.04%-0.13%, 0.61% -1.13% ,0.12% -1.11% ,respectively;the average com contents of water ,total ash and water soluble extract were 6.25%,5.86%,26.50%,respectively. CONCLU SIONS:O the basis of the original quality standard of A. sacrorum , microscopic identification,TLC identification ,content determination and examination items of water ,total ash and extract are added. The method shows good precision ,accuracy and stability ,which can provide reference for more scientific and standardized evaluation of the quality of this medicinal material.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To report our experience of treating open comminuted limb fractures caused by gunshots using the Masquelet technique.Methods:Between January 2016 and July 2018, 3 patients were admitted to Institute of Orthopedics, 920 Hospital of Joint Logistic Service of People's Liberation Army for open comminuted limb fractures caused by gunshots.They were all male, aged from 18 to 41 years (average, 30.7 years).Their fractures were complicated with perforating wounds and belonged to Gustilo type ⅢB for open fractures.The bone defects were 5 to 9 cm in length (average, 6.7 cm), located at the proximal femur in 2 cases and at the upper middle humerus in one.They were treated by standard Masquelet technique at 2 stages.The postoperative functions of the hip, knee and shoulder were evaluated according to the Harris hip score, Lowa knee score and Constant-Murley shoulder function score.Results:The 3 patients obtained an average follow-up of 17.3 months.The bone defects were all repaired in the 3 patients without any signs of infection.The 2 patients with femoral defects were rated as both excellent by the Harris hip score, as excellent in one and as good in the other by the Lowa knee score; the patient with humeral defects was rated as excellent by the Constant-Murley shoulder function score.Conclusion:Masquelet technique is a desirable treat-ment of segmental long bone defects caused by gunshots.

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of marginal liver from elderly donors in liver transplantation. Methods According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, the clinical data of 127 donors and recipients were retrospectively analyzed. According to the age of donors, 127 donors were divided into the elderly group (n=27) and control group (n=100). The recovery of liver function, the occurrence of postoperative complications and survival rate of the recipients after transplantation were statistically analyzed between two groups. Results The incidence of primary nonfunction (PNF) and initial poor graft function (IPGF) did not significantly differ between the elderly and control groups (both P > 0.05). Within postoperative 2 weeks, the average levels of alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and serum total bilirubin (TB) of liver transplant recipients in the elderly group was not significantly different from those in the control group (both P > 0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of postoperative complications in the postoperative elderly group compared with the control group (all P > 0.05). The 1-and 3-year survival rates of the recipients in the elderly group were 84% and 78% respectively, which did not significantly differ from 89% and 79% in the control group (both P > 0.05). Conclusions Strict and sufficient quality evaluation and functional maintenance should be done for elderly donor livers. It can achieve good transplantation results by intraoperative fine operation, reducing bleeding and trauma, shortening the time of cold ischemia and operation, strengthening postoperative monitoring and implementing enhanced recovery after surgery.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the relationship between the expression level of 15-hydroxyprostaglandin dehydrogenase (15-PGDH) and clinical prognosis of liver transplantation for hepatocellular carcinoma. Methods The clinical data of 94 recipients undergoing liver transplantation for hepatocellular carcinoma were retrospectively analyzed. The expression of 15-PGDH in the pathological tissues of all recipients was detected by immunohistochemical staining. The relationship between the expression level of 15-PGDH protein and clinical parameters of hepatocellular carcinoma patients was analyzed. The 5-year tumor-free survival and overall survival rates of liver transplant recipients were calculated. The possible independent risk factors of the clinical prognosis of liver transplant recipients were analyzed. Results The expression level of 15-PGDH was significantly correlated with age, Child-Pugh grade and preoperative level of alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) of the recipients (all P < 0.05). The tumor-free survival and overall survival rates of the recipients with low expression of 15-PGDH were significantly lower than those in their counterparts with high expression of 15-PGDH (both P < 0.05). The expression level of 15-PGDH, degree of tumor differentiation and American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC) staging were the independent risk factors of clinical prognosis of liver transplantation for hepatocellular carcinoma (all P < 0.05). Conclusions The expression level of 15-PGDH is an independent risk factor of clinical prognosis of liver transplantation for hepatocellular carcinoma.

ABSTRACT

In this paper, we review the results of previous studies and summarize the effects of various factors on the regulation of bone metabolism in traumatic bone infections. Infection-related bone destruction incorporates pathogens and iatrogenic factors in the process of bone resorption dominated by the skeletal and immune systems. The development of bone immunology has established a bridge of communication between the skeletal system and the immune system. Exploring the effects of pathogens, skeletal systems, immune systems, and antibacterials on bone repair in infectious conditions can help improve the treatment of these diseases.

ABSTRACT

While immune checkpoint inhibitors(ICIs)are effective and promising treatments for a variety of malignancies,they also have safety concerns,especially the immune-related adverse events(irAEs).Unlike the side effects of traditional chemotherapy and targeted therapy,irAEs are adverse events caused by immune activation after ICIs treatment and thus may involve almost every system of the body.Therefore,biomarkers for predicting irAEs after ICIs treatment are urgently needed.Here we review the currently available predictive biomarkers of irAEs.

ABSTRACT

ObjectiveTo observe the role of parvalbumin interneuron-mediated disinhibition in the antidepressant effects of ketamine.MethodsForty-eight adult male C57BL/6 mice were randomly divided into the following four groups (n=12): group Saline + Saline (group SS), group LPS + Saline (group LS), group Saline + Ketamine (group SK) and group LPS + Ketamine (group LK). The depression model was established by intraperitoneal injection of LPS (1 mg/kg), and ketamine (10 mg/kg) or physiological saline (equal volume) intraperitoneally injected 20 hours later. Four hours after ketamine administration, the open field test and the forced swimming test were performed. The hippocampus was harvested after the behavioral test. PCR and Western blot were used to detect the expressions of PV and GAD67. Electrophysiology were used to detect the change of miniExcitatory post-synaptic current of pyramidal neurons in hippocampus CA1 region.ResultsCompared with the group SS, the time spent in the center zone of the arena was significantly decreased, the immobility time was significantly increased, the mRNA and protein content of PV were significantly increased, the amplitude and frequency of miniEPSC were significantly decreased in the group LS (P0.05).ConclusionKetamine can exert rapid antidepressant effects by down-regulating the expression of PV and then exerting disinhibition regulation on pyramidal neurons.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the clinical prognosis of the liver transplant recipients diagnosed with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) complicated with microvascular invasion (MVI). Methods Clinical data of 3 447 HCC recipients undergoing liver transplantation were extracted from Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) database of American National Cancer Institute. According to the incidence of MVI, all recipients were divided into MVI (n=376) and non-MVI groups (n=3 071). The clinical prognosis of liver transplant recipients was statistically compared between two groups by analyzing the 1-, 3- and 5-year overall survival (OS) and liver cancer specific survival (LCSS). Relevant clinical data including age, gender, race, pathological staging, tumor size, lymph node metastasis, distant metastasis, tumor-node-metastasis (TNM) staging and MVI were recorded in two groups. The independent risk factors of clinical prognosis of HCC recipients undergoing liver transplantation were analyzed by multivariate Cox regression model. The nomogram for predicting the clinical prognosis of the recipients was delineated. The accuracy of the prediction model was evaluated by the consistency index. Results In the non-MVI group, the 1-, 3-, 5-year OS and LCSS were 93.5%, 82.1%, 75.3% and 98.3%, 93.8%, 90.7%, significantly higher than 88.8%, 72.1%, 68.4% and 95.3%, 83.1%, 80.4% in the MVI group (all P < 0.05). Multivariate regression analysis showed that pathological staging, tumor size, lymph node metastasis, distant metastasis, TNM staging and MVI were the independent risk factors of OS and LCSS in HCC recipients undergoing liver transplantation (all P < 0.05). The nomogram consistency index was calculated as 0.624 (0.602-0.648). Conclusions MVI is an independent risk factor of the clinical prognosis of HCC recipients undergoing liver transplantation, which is significantly correlated with poor prognosis of the recipients. The nomogram based on MVI can predict the clinical prognosis of these recipients.

OBJECTIVES@#The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic is a global public health crisis, which elicits psychological problems in different population This study is to investigate the impact of COVID-19 on mental health in the front-line staff.@*METHODS@#Patient Health Questionnare-9 (PHQ-9), Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS), and Fatigue Self-assessment Scale (FSAS) were used to assess the depression, anxiety, and fatigue in front-line staff.@*RESULTS@#The detection rates of depression, anxiety, and fatigue were 49.1%, 21.8%, and 76.0% among the front-line staff. The rates of depression, anxiety, and fatigue in community workers were higher than those in medical workers and other occupational staff (<0.01). The PHQ-9 of front-line staffs was negatively correlated with age, family income, family members' support, satisfaction of service objects, and sleep quality (all <0.01), while positively correlated with education level, fatigue, fear of pneumonia, and the duration of daily attention to the COVID-19 (all <0.01). SAS was negatively correlated with age, family income, family support, satisfaction of objects service, and sleep quality (all <0.01), while positively correlated with gender, fatigue, fear of pneumonia, and duration of daily attention to the COVID-19 (all <0.01).@*CONCLUSIONS@#The front-line workers should manage work and rest time reasonably to adjust their negative mood and fatigue. The government and the society should pay more attention to the psychological state of the front-line staff, particularly for the staff working in the community or villages and towns in preventing the COVID-19 pandemic. Thus, front-line staff can be obtained mental intervention or be taken a rest from the high-intensive work.

ABSTRACT

To investigate the possibility of microsurgical anastomosis of artery, vein and lymphat-ic vessel under 3-dimension screen without eyepiece. Methods During March, 2019, 2 cases (48 and 62 years old) were operated for breast reconstruction, chest wall deformity modified, and axillary scar contracture release, under 3-dimension screen without eyepiece.Deep epigastric artery perforators (artery and vein) dissections were carried on, and microsurgical anastomosis of artery, vein and lymphatic vessel were finished. Coupler was used to do the end-to-end anastomosis of veins (2.5 mm), interrupted suture end-to-end anastomosis with 9-0 nylon for artery (2.0 mm). Reverse arm lymphatic dynamic fluorescence methylene blue tracer under Near Infrared Imaging was used to test the func-tion of lymphatic system. The ends of 2 dominant drainage lymphatic vessels was found in the released axillary area (0.2 mm and 0.3 mm, respectively), and were anastomosis to the vein (0.5 mm) of lateral chest lymphatic tissue.Im-mediate methylene blue tracer under near infrared imaging was used to confirm the patency of lymphatic vessels-veins anastomosis and follow-up post operation. Flap were monitored use HHD. Results Two patients recovered well, and the flaps survived completely with appreciated appearances. The lymphedema of the arms were getting better, the peripheral diameter was reduced by about 2.0 cm compared with that before operation. Conclusion The technique of microsurgical anastomosis of artery, vein and lymphatic vessel without eyepiece under 3-dimension screen is possi-ble and safe.

Objective The use of split liver transplantation (SLT) from deceased donors in children is gradual increasing.This study analyzed the outcomes of SLT in pediatric recipients at a single center in China.Methods From July 2017 to September 2018,42 SLTs in 41 pediatric recipients were performed.There were 24 adult donors with age ranged from 19 to 52 years and 10 pediatric donors with age ranged from 4 years to 16 years.In adult donors,the livers were divided to left lateral segment (LLS) and extended right lobe (ERL) grafts,and 24 LLS and 1 ERL graft were used.Among 10 pediatric donors,the same split technique was used.Further reduction of the grafts was done on 1 ERL and 3 LLS grafts.There were 34 children with biliary atresia,accounting for 82.9% of the total patients.Twenty-four patients (58.5%) were less than one year old.For pediatric receptor PELD score,5 cases had 0-14 scores,21 cases had 15-29 scores and 16 cases had more than 30 scores.GRWR was 1.65%-4.39% in children.The cold ischemia time of grafts was 3-13 h.Results The operations were completed successfully in 41 children.During the follow-up period of 2 months to 4 years and 3 months,38 children recovered and discharged.The incidence of complications of hepatic artery,portal vein and biliary tract was 4.8%,7.1% and 9.5%oo respectively.There were 3 perioperative deaths and 2 recurrent deaths during the follow-up period.The 1-and 2-year survival rates were 90.25% and 87.8% respectively,and the graft survival rates were 88.1% and 85.7% respectively.Conclusions Under the background of organ donation in China,we should attach importance to the application of splitting technique in pediatric liver transplantation.Grasping the selection criteria of donors and recipients and fine operation can achieve a satisfactory result.

ABSTRACT

Objective · To investigate the feasibility of four-dimensional flow MRI (4D flow MRI) in evaluating the hemodynamics of forearm autologous arteriovenous fistula (AVF) in renal dialysis patients. Methods · Forty-five patients from Renal Division of Renji Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine were included. Patients with forearm AVF underwent ultrasonography and MRI. The consistency of 4D flow MRI hemodynamic parameters measured by two radiologists and hemodynamic parameters at the same plane of AVF by 4D flow MRI and ultrasonography were analyzed by paired t test. The morphological parameters of AVF were acquired from black blood sequence, and they were used for Pearson correlation analysis with the hemodynamic parameters obtained from 4D flow MRI. Results · Forty-two patients completed the forearm AVF ultrasonography and MRI successfully.Paired t test showed that the consistency of 4D flow MRI hemodynamic parameters by two radiologists was good (all P=0.000), and all hemodynamic parameters measured by 4D flow MRI and ultrasonography were in good agreement (r=0.292-0.569, all P<0.05) except for the peak flow velocity at anastomosis (r=-0.078, P>0.05). Pearson correlation analysis showed that the cephalic venous flow volume of AVF was correlated with the diameter ratio of the cephalic venous to radial artery and the anastomosis area (r=-0.671, r=0.482, both P<0.05), and the wall shear stress (WSS) near the anastomosis was correlated with the anastomosis angle and wall thickness (r=0.530, r=0.462, both P<0.05). Conclusion · 4D flow MRI can be used to evaluate the hemodynamic parameters of forearm AVF in renal dialysis patients, which can provide a reference for further study of AVF dysfunction.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the risk factors associated with post traumatic cerebral infarction (PTCI) after craniotomy hematoma evacuation for severe traumatic brain injury (sTBI) so as to provide clinical reference for the early prevention of postoperative PTCI.Methods A retrospective case control study was conducted to analyze the clinical data of 558 sTBI patients who received craniotomy hematoma evacuation admitted to Changsha Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from October 2006 to June 2016.There were 340 males and 218 females,aged 15-71 years,with an average of 47.8 years.Among them,75 patients were at the age of less than 30 years,315 were at 30-50 years,and 168 were above 50 years.According to the Glasgow coma score (GCS),there were 127 patients with 3-4 points,124 with 5-6 points,and 307 with 7-8 points.The patients were divided into PTCI group (51 patients)and non-PTCI group (507 patients).The related indicators of the two groups of patients after admission were collected,including gender,age,injury cause,GCS,skull base fracture,traumatic subarachnoid hemorrhage (tSAH),cerebral hernia,hypotension,the time from injury to craniotomy,and whether decompressive craniectomy was performed.Univariate analysis was first performed for these factors,followed by multivariate logistic regression analysis.Results There were no significant differences in gender,age,injury cause,skull base fracture,and decompressive craniectomy between PTCI group and control group (P > 0.05).In the PTCI group,there were 29 patients with GCS of 3-4 points,17 with 5-6 points,and five with 7-8 points;there were 48 patients with tSAH,37 patients with cerebral hernia,and 18 patients with hypotension.In terms of the time from injury to craniotomy,it took < 3 hours in 30 patients,3-6 hours in 12,6-12 hours in five,and > 12 hours in four.In the non-PTCI group,there were 98 patients with GCS of 3-4 points,107 with 5-6 points,and 302 with 7-8 points.There were 34 patients with tSAH,117 with cerebral hernia,and 35 with hypotension.In terms of the time from injury to craniotomy,it took <3 hours in 294 patients,3-6 hours in 130,6-12 hours in 68,and > 12 hours in 15.The differences between the two groups were statistically significant (P < 0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis indicated that GCS of 3-6 points,tSAH,cerebral hernia,time from injury to craniotomy,and hypotension were significantly associated with PTCI after operation for sTBI (P < 0.01).Conclusions GCS of 3-6 points,tSAH,cerebral hernia,duration from injury to craniotomy,and hypotension time > 3 hours are the high risk factors of PTCI in sTBI patients after craniotomy.For patients with these high risk factors,craniotomy should be performed in time,and the perioperative blood pressure and intracranial pressure stability should be maintained so as to relieve vasospasm.

Objective To detect the expressions of Matrix Metalloprotein-11 ( MMP-11 ) and Cathepsin-D(Cath-D),and investigate their relationship and prognostic significance. Methods The study included 95 cases′ clinical date and postoperative specimens of gastric adenocarcinoma ( North China University of Science and Technology Affiliated Hospital,2010. 01-2013. 12) as observation group,70 cases of normal gastric tissue(from observation group) as control group. Expressions of MMP-11 and Cath-D were detected by IHC methods in two groups. Results The positive rate of MMP-11 was 51. 6%( 49/95) in observation group,5. 7%(4/70)in control group(χ2=38. 884,P<0. 05). The positive rate of Cath-D was 73. 7%(70/95) in observation group,28. 6%(20/70) in control group(χ2=33. 082,P<0. 05). The positive rate of MMP-11 was correlated with metastasis and vascular invasion(χ2=7. 193、15. 566,P<0. 05). The positive rate of Cath-D was correlated with maximal diameter,lymph node metastasis,vascular invasion and proliferation index(χ2=7.431、5.654、6.569、6.801,P<0.05).There was positive relationship between MMP-11 and Cath-D in observation group(r=0. 46,P<0. 05). The expressions of MMP-11 and Cath-D were correlated with prognosis in gastric adenocarcinoma ( P<0. 05) . Conclusion The higher expressions and synergistic effect of MMP-11 and Cath-D may promote the occurrence and development in gastric adenocarcinoma. The joint detection of MMP-11 and Cath-D may be helpful to predict the prognosis of gastric adenocarcinoma.

Objective@#To explore the effects of pubertal timing on eating disorders among adolescents in Bengbu.@*Methods@#Totally 831 students from grade five to eight in two nine-year schools were selected and surveyed with Pubertal Development Scale (PDS) and Eating Disorder Inventory(EDI).@*Results@#The score of female on drive for thinness and body dissatisfaction was higher than male’s. The score of different grade on drive for thinness, bulimia, perfectionism,maturity fears and ineffectiveness was significant difference between them(P<0.05 ).The score of interpersonal distrust was highest in delay pubertal timing in schoolboys, and the score of drive for thinness,body dissatisfaction and diet of schoolgirl in early pubertal timing was highest,there was significant difference between them(F=2.68,4.87,6.46,3.07,5.49,P<0.05 ).@*Conclusion@#There are close relationship between the pubertal timing and eating disorders.The eating disorders will be offected in early and delay pubertal timing of adolescents.
