ABSTRACT
Objective:To collect and analyze the evaluation index of infertility treated by Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), which will lay a foundation for the establishment of the core index and evaluation index system of TCM treating infertility. Methods:By retriving the published literatures of randomized controlled trials of infertility treated by TCM in the database of CNKI, VIP, Wanfang, SinoMed, PubMed and Cochrane Library from January 1, 2011 to December 31, 2020, and after the screening according to the creteria of inclusion and exclusion, this paper analyzed the normal indexes of infertility and the pathogenic indexes of TCM.Results:A total of 95 RCTs were included, including 9 069 patients aged between 20-39 years old. The average sample size of each RCT study was 95, involving 78 evaluation criteria. The highest frequency of use was the total effective rate, etiological-index analysis found that the general indicators of infertility such as the total effective rate, pregnancy rate, TCM syndrome scores, and common etiological factors such as LH, FSH are the characteristic indicators. Conclusion:There are many problems in the evaluation indexes of clinical trials of treating infertility by TCM, such as great differences in number and not standardized usage. It is necessary to carry out research on the construction of core indicator and evaluation indicator systems of infertility according to different etiologies.
ABSTRACT
OBJECTIVE@#To investigate the status of anxiety and depression in patients requiring emergency treatment during the epidemic of COVID-19 to identify the patients with acute psychological stress disorder.@*METHODS@#During the COVID-19 epidemic, the medical staff divided the patients visiting the emergency department into suspected group, fever group and control group through interview of the patients at triage. Self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) and self-rating depression scale (SDS) were distributed to each patient, and a trained medical staff was responsible for assisting the patient to complete the scales.@*RESULTS@#A total of 557 sets of scales were distributed, including 211 in suspected COVID-19 case group, 167 in fever group and 179 in the control group. A total of 516 scales were retrieved, including 197 in suspected case group, 151 in fever group and 168 in control group. In the 3 groups, the incidence rates of anxiety and depression were 57.87% and 58.88%, 48.34% and 43.71%, and 18.31% and 18.99%, respectively, and the rates were significantly higher in suspected group and fever group than in the control group ( < 0.01), and significantly higher in suspected group than in fever group ( < 0.05). The standardized anxiety and depression scale scores in suspected case group, fever group and control group were 57.38±16.25 and 42.58±14.27, 51.23±15.29 and 38.32±15.39, and 32.58±17.8 and 12.25±12.94, respectively. Compared with the control group, both suspected case group and fever group had significantly higher standard scores for anxiety and depression ( < 0.01), and suspected case group had significantly higher standardized scores than fever group ( < 0.01).@*CONCLUSIONS@#Among the patients visiting the emergency treatment, the patients with suspected COVID-19 and common fever are more likely to develop anxiety and depressive symptoms.

Objective To investigate the effectiveness and safety of minimal invasive surgery combined with ventriculoscope for the treatment of basal ganglia hemorrhage. Methods From June 2014 to June 2015 there were 57 patients with basal ganglia hemorrhage were selected into this study. These patients were signed into the minimal invasive surgery combined with ventriculoscope group and the craniotomy group according to the methods of surgery they received. And the clinical outcomes of the two groups were compared. Results Compared with the craniotomy group, patients in the minimal invasive surgery combined with ventriculoscope group got a significantly lower Glasgow coma scale at 7 days,14 days and 28 days after the operation (P =0.02,0.04,0.04);the hospital stays were significantly reduced in the minimal invasive surgery combined with ventriculoscope group [(21.45 ±5.67)d vs.(25.67 ±7.45)d,P =0.02];and the operation time were significantly reduced as well [(134.45 ±21.11)min vs.(178.65 ±45.32)min,P =0.000)].There was no significant difference in intra-cranial pressure, rate of hematoma clearance, rate of organ functional failure, rate of re-bleeding and mortality 28 days after operation (P >0.05).Conclusion The minimal invasive surgery combined with ventriculoscope is effective and safe for the treatment of basal ganglia hemorrhage, which is worthy of popularization.
ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVETo evaluate the effect of co-culture system of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSC) and vascular endothelial cells (EC) on osteogenesis.

METHODSBMSC were isolated by whole bone marrow centrifugal adherent method. Then BMSC were induced into EC with induced medium. Co-culture system in different proportions of BMSC and EC (10:0, 10:1, 8:2, 7:3, 5:5, 3:7, 2:8, 1:10, 0:10) were further evaluated. The cell growth level of BMSC was examined. The CD44 expression of BMSC and von willebrand factor (vWF) expression of vascular EC were examined by immunofluorescence. Furthermore, calcium nodules exhibited by alizarin red staining, alkaline phosphatase activity, and the expression of osteogenic genes by reverse transcription-quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR) were observed to validate the osteogenesis of co-culture system.

RESULTSThe growth curve of P3 passage of BMSC demonstrated the doubling time of BMSC was 39.9 h. The positive specific markers of BMSC and EC showed efficient induction. Although the calcium nodules ratio of the co-culture [group 7:3 (19.0 ± 3.0) and group 5:5 (20.8 ± 2.9)] was not significantly different (P > 0.05), but higher than that of other co-culture groups with a significant difference (P < 0.01). Alkaline phosphatase activity was increased with prolonged induction of osteogenic medium. While alkaline phosphatase activity of group 10:0 (16.84 ± 0.82), group 10:1 (15.86 ± 3.10), group 8:2 (16.37 ± 1.33), group 7:3 (17.99 ± 1.98), and group 5:5 (17.49 ± 0.87) did not show significant difference after osteogenic induction for 7 days (P > 0.05), but significantly higher than that of other co-culture groups (P < 0.05). The co-culture ratio of 7:3 (33.74 ± 0.99) was slightly higher than that of 5:5 (31.09 ± 0.87), but significantly higher than that of other groups (P < 0.01). Moreover, the osteocalcin (OCN) and runt-related transcription factor 2 (RUNX2) expression of group 7:3 was significantly higher than that of other groups.

CONCLUSIONSThe EC that derived from BMSC can promote the BMSC differentiate into osteoblasts. The co-culture system of BMSC and EC with the ratio of 7:3 increases the alkaline phosphatase activity and facilitates the expression of osteogenic genes.
