ABSTRACT
ObjectiveTo summarize the one-year follow-up clinical result of patients undergoing Endoscopic vein harvest (EVH) technology to collect greater saphenous vein( GSV )in coronary artery bypass operation (CABG),and to assess the related factors influencing the outcome.Methods248 patients underwent off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting (OPCAG) from May 2009 to May 2010.Among these patients,136 patients with coronary artery disease received EVH technology to gain GSV,and 112 patients received conventional open vein harvesting (OVH).Then 71 EVH (group 1 ) patients and 64 OVH ( group 2 ) patients had one-year follow-up analysis.We compared and evaluated the data of two groups about operation information,lower limb wound complication,bridge blood vessels patency rate,and psychologic status.ResultsThe date of wound surface size,wound healing and appearance,wound infection rate,the second debridement rate and the overall lower limb wound complication rate show that EVH was better than OVH.After one-year follow-up,we contrasted the patency rate of bridge blood vessels between two groups.The patency rate of arterial bridge blood vessels was 96.8% ( venous bridge blood vessels was 85.7% )in group of EVH when we followed up 63 patients;while the patency rate of arterial bridge blood vessels was 94.9% ( venous bridge blood vessels was 86.4% ) in group of OVH that we followed up 59 patients.We compared the outcome between two groups,and found that there were no statistical significance in angina recurrence rate,patency rate of venous graft and patency rate of arterial graft.But the psychologic status was different,the EVH group was better than OVH group.ConclusionCompared to OVH,EVH technique has more advantages.Through taking a more secure method in the collection process of the bridging vein material,EVH group also maintained a satisfactory one-year graft patency rate.

OBJECTIVE@#To compare the expression of matrix metalloproteinase-9 and tissue inhibitor of matrix metalloproteinase-1 of nasopharyngeal carcinoma at Xi'an and Shenzhen area.@*METHOD@#The protein expression of MMP 9 and TIMP 1 were studied by immunohistochemistry staining in 21 cases nasopharyngeal carcinoma of Xi'an and 22 cases of Shenzhen.@*RESULT@#The expression positive rates of MMP-9 in nasopharyngeal carcinoma tissues at Xi'an and Shenzhen were 61.90% and 68.18%. The positive rates of TIMP-1 in nasopharyngeal carcinoma tissues at two regions were 28.57% and 31.82%. The expression between MMP-9 and TIMP-1 were negative relationship either Xi'an or Shenzhen. The expression of MMP-9 was positively correlated to lymph node metastasis, and TIMP-1 was no relationship with lymph node metastasis. The expression of MMP-9 and TIMP-1 was no difference between Xi'an and Shenzhen.@*CONCLUSION@#The expression of MMP-9 and TIMP-1 in nasopharyngeal carcinoma 2 tissues was no difference between Xi'an and Shenzhen. Increase of MMP-9 play an important role in progression and metastasis of nasopharyngeal carcinoma.

Objective To study the serum lipid(TC,TG,LDL-C) and the role of typeⅠcollagen,NF-?B,typeⅠcollagen mRNA and NF-?B mRNA levels and their mechanisms in the occurrence and progress of atherosclerosis in order to provide theoretical gist for its prevention.Methods Blood vessel wall pathological and the serum lipid changes,the expressions of typeⅠcollagen,NF-?B,typeⅠcollagen mRNA and NF-?B mRNA levels were observed in dietary induced atherosclerosis rabbit model by morphology study,immunohistochemistry,in situ hybridization technique and color image analyzer(CMAIS).Results The model of AS was established successfully after rabbits were fed with cholesterol,who developed the fatty streak lesion in the aortic intra-wall.In the rabbit model,TC and LDL were respectively increased 43 times and 37 times and there were no difference in TG and body weight.Type I collagen,NF-?B,type I collagen mRNA and NF-?B mRNA were 0.27?0.02,0.19?(0.01) and 0.30?0.03,0.35?0.03,respectively,which were higher than those of control group(0.08?0.01,0.09?0.01 and 0.11?0.01,0.10?0.09,respectively)(P
