Objective To investigate the changes of vital signs, serum potassium and postoperative comfort of patients treated with MECT in the treatment of low-dose rocuronium. Methods 200 patients with MECT from June 2014 to June 2016 were selected and randomly divided into two groups, and the life signs and adverse reactions were analyzed and compared. Results There was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in the recovery time, the recovery time and the recovery time of the pharyngeal reflex. The recovery of spontaneous respiration in the experimental group was earlier than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant ( P<0.05 ) .There was no significant difference between the two groups (headache, drowsiness, postoperative irritability) compared with the control group, the incidence of muscle pain in the experimental group was significantly lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Pre-injection of rocuronium can reduce the level of serum potassium, shorten the recovery time of spontaneous breathing, and reduce the incidence of postoperative muscle soreness.Compared with the conventional MECT method, it can reduce the contraindication of MECT treatment and increase the comfort of patients.
ABSTRACT
A new method for accurate determination of 15 rare earth elements including Y-Lu in tea samples by inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry( ICP-MS) was proposed. Sample preparation was based on the modified oxygen flask combustion technique. By using quartz cloth coated with glycerol instead of filter paper as the ignition agent, a total amount of 0. 1 g sample could be completely burned in a 500-mL flask. Key factors affecting the sample preparation effect were systematically investigated, and it was found that the extraction efficiencies of over 90% for all the analytes could be realized with 5 mL of 4% HNO3+1% HF ( V/V) as the extractant for the combustion residue and the total extraction process could be finished in one minute under sonication, which resulted in a very fast sample preparation procedure that could be completed in less than 3 minutes. The relative standard deviations ( RSD) of six parallel determination values were between 2. 7% and 5. 5%, and the detection limits ranged from 0. 001 mg/kg to 0. 006 mg/kg. Three tea standard reference materials were analyzed with the method and the detection results agreed well with the standard values. The method was successfully applied to three real samples analysis.

AnewmethodwasdevelopedforfastdeterminationofAlresidueinpolyetherketoneketone ( PEKK) special polymer material by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry ( GF-AAS) . Instead of high temperature ashing, sample was dissolved in concentrated sulfuric acid and diluted by tetrahydrofuran, then was directly analyzed by GF-AAS. Systematical investigation was made on sample preparation, it was found that for 0. 2 g of sample weight, a clear sample solution could be obtained by heating at 220 ℃ with 2 mL of concentrated H2 SO4 for 4 min, and the obtained solution was ready for the subsequent mixing with tetrahydrofuran for sample dilution or dispersion before analysis. Redesign of the GF-AAS temperature program was also made, on the basis of the recommended program a pre-ashing step was added, which greatly helped increasing the analytical precision when the temperature was set at 400 ℃ and the total time was set at 40 s. The detection limits ( 3σ) were 38. 5 ng/g, the RSD for six parallel determinations of real samples was 2. 2%, and the recoveries for spiked tests were 99%-105%, respectively. In comparison with the traditional high-temperature ashing technique, the established method was more concise, faster and less exposed to contamination during sample preparation.

BACKGROUND:Several studies have shown the improvement of heart function through the introduction of mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)from bone marrow, which may be attributed to secretion of various cytokines that accelerate endogenous reparative process, but not regeneration of cardiomyocytes.OBJECTIVE:To observe the anti-apoptotic effects of MSCs on adriamycin(ADR)-injured cardiomyocytes apoptosis in vitro through paracrine pathway.METHODS:In vitro cultured neonatal rat cardiomyocytes(3×10~8/L)were incubated into a 6-well plate,3 mL/well.72 hours later, these cells were assigned into 3 groups. The primary cultured neonatal rat cardiomyocytes in the ADR-injured and coculture groups were exposed to 1 mg/L ADR for 4 hours to establish experimental models of toxic cardiomyocytes. The normal control group was left intact. In the coculture group, rat bone marrow MSCs(BMSCs)at passage 3 were regulated to 3×10~8/L,3 mL/well was added into Millicell device for 24 hours.Following model induction, the Millicell device was inseted into above-mentioned 6-well plate to establish coculture system. The levels of cytokines were measured in the conditioned medium from three cardiomyocytes groups.Effects of BMSCs on Caspase-9 and Caspase-3 activities, apoptosis and Bcl-2 and Bax protein expression in ADR-injured cardiomyocytes were measured.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Compared with the normal control group.the level of cytokine including insulin-like growth factor (IGF-1)and hepatocyte growth factor(HGF)was significantly higher in the medium from ADR-injured group.the activity of caspase-9,caspase-3 and the apoptosis rate increased significantly, the expression of Bax protein was higher and Bcf-2 Protein was lower in ADR-injured group(P < 0.05).Compared with the ADR-injured group, the level of IGF-1 and HGF in co-cultured group increased significantly, the apoptosis rate,Caspase-3 and Caspase-9 activities decreased significantly, the expression of Bax protein was lower while Bcl-2 Protein was higher than ADR-injured group(P < 0.05).Results indicated that BMSCs show increased cytokine secretion and significant anti-apoptotic effects on ADR-injured cardiomyocytes through paracrine pathway.
ABSTRACT
Objective To evaluate the effects of pacing in right ventricular septum (RVS) on hemodynamics among atrioventricular sequential dual chamber pacing Methods Twenty patients with high grade or complete atrioventricular block received permanent dual chamber pacemaker ( DDD ),were randomized into right ventricular septum pacing group (RVS)and right ventricular apex pacing group (RVA)according to the ventricular leads position. The QRS duration of the ECG,the left ventricular ejection (LVEF),the interventricular mechanical delay( IVMD )and the plasma levels of brain natriuretic peptide (BNP)were compared before and after operations. Results Compared with the preoperation, the mean QRS duration ( ( 187.00 ± 15.67 ) ms and (94.00 ±9.17 ) ms),the IV MD ( (43.20 ± 6.79 ) ms and ( 15.00 ± 4.08 ) ms ),the level of BNP ( ( 89.70 ± 8.30) ng/L and (40.00 ± 4.73 ) ng/L) increased( P < 0.05 ) and LVEF decreased significantly ( (53.70 ± 1.34) % and (58.60 ±1.65 )% ,P < 0.05 ) in RVA group, but didn't change in RVS group (P > 0.05 ).After three months following up,the mean QRS duration and the IVMD in RVS group( (119.00 ±7.38 )ms,(19.00 ±4.59)ms) were shorter than that of RVA group( ( 187.00 ± 15.67) ms,(43.20 ± 6.79) ms) ( P < 0.05 ),the LVEF was higher and the plasma level of BNP was lower than that of RVA group ( (57.00 ± 2.00) % and ( 53.70 ± 1.34) %,(44.20 ± 9.18 ) ng/Land ( 89.70 ±8.30) ng/L,P <0.05).Conclusions The RVS pacing could keep the normal ventricular activation sequence and biventricular contraction synchrony farthest without side effects on hemodynamics in comparison with the RVA pacing. The RVS pacing is more approaching physiological rhythm than the RVA pacing.

Objective To investigate the electrocardiographic characteristics and assess the efficiency of ra-diofrequency catheter ablation(RFCA) in ventricular arrhythmia arising from the aortic sinus of Valsalva. Methods Eighteen patients(6 males and 12 females)were selected to undergo RFCA for ventficular arrhythmia originating from the left aortic sinus of Valsava. All of them were symptomatic, but without evidence of structural heart disease. Activation mapping was performed in the endocardium of the aortic sinus of Valsalva, then ablation was performed at the site with the earliest ventricular wave in endocardium electrograms. At the same time, coronary and aortic angiog-raphy were performed to assess the anatomic relationship between the ventricular tachycardia (VT)/ventricular pre-mature contraction (VPC) origin and coronary arteries and aortic valve before the RF energy delivery. Results Eighteen patients were successfully managed, with no major complications related to the procedure. VT eliminated and VPC counts on 24-hour ECG monitoring decreased significantly after the ablation[18 474(12 399,26 812)/24h vs 4 (1,7)/24 h, Wilcoxon signed-rank test, P<0.05]. During a follow-up period of 6 monthes, there was no recur-rence. Conclusions Ventricular arrhythmia arising from the aortic sinus of Valsalva has specific electrocardiograph-ic characteristics, and it can be successfully and safely treated under the guidance of activation mapping.
