ABSTRACT
To investigate the effects of maternal exposure to 13 chemicals mixture (CM) during pregnancy on pregnancy outcome and health status of maternal/offspring mice. C57BL/6 pregnant mice were given drinking water containing carbaryl dimethoate glyphosate methomyl methyl parathion triadimefon aspartame sodium benzoate calcium disodium ethylene diamine tetra-acetate ethylparaben butylparaben bisphenol A and acacia gum The effects of CM exposure on pregnancy outcome, health status of dams/offspring, levels of circulating inflammatory cytokines in dams/offspring and emotional related behaviors of offspring were evaluated. CM exposure during pregnancy had no significant effect on pregnancy outcome, liver function, body weight of the dams in late pregnancy and uterine/ovarian weight after delivery, however, it led to an increase in maternal serum IFN-γ level (<0.05). CM exposure during pregnancy had no significant effect on the liver function of offspring, but increased the serum IFN-γ, prefrontal cortex IFN-γ, and TNF-α and hippocampus IFN-γ levels in the offspring(all <0.01). In addition, the offspring of CM group showed significant abnormal emotion-related (autism-like) behaviors in adulthood, especially in male offspring. Low dose CM exposure during pregnancy may induce inflammation status in dams/offspring, and lead to autism-like behaviors in offspring, indicating the potential effects of low dose CM exposure on human maternal and infant health.

Objective:To propose the application of recognizing bone species by touching blindly (ARBTB) and verify its application effect in human anatomy experimental courses. Methods:The study included experiment 1 and experiment 2, and the research objects were 60 students majoring in clinical medicine in Batch 2019 and 60 students majoring in preventive medicine in Batch 2018, respectively. The research objects in each experiment were randomized into mainstream teaching method group and ARBTB group, with 30 students in each group. In experiment 1, after students studying for the same hours, both of two groups carried out the same test, and then the average scores of the two groups were compared. In experiment 2, the average time spent by the two groups of students in osteology learning was compared. Results:In experiment 1, ARBTB group's average score of the test was significantly higher than that of the mainstream teaching group ( P<0.001). In experiment 2, the ARBTB group took much less time in osteology learning than the mainstream teaching group ( P<0.001). Conclusion:Compared with the mainstream teaching method, ARBTB is more effective in osteology learning, which is worth popularizing.
ABSTRACT
Objective To analyze changes in serum levels of inflammatory factors,galectin-3 (Gal-3),fractalkine(FKN) and interleukin-6 (IL-6),in patients with dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) or ischemic cardiomyopathy (ICM),and to explore their clinical significance. Methods Seventy-six hospitalized patients with DCM were selected to serve as a DCM group, and 78 patients with ischemic cardiomyopathy were selected into an ICM group from October 2016 to December 2017 at the Department of Cardiology, and patients in the two groups received cardiac function classification.Meanwhile,82 healthy people were included as a control group.Fasting venous blood was collected, and serum levels of Gal-3,FKN,IL-6,and BNP were measured. The correlations of Gal-3,FKN,and IL-6 with DCM or ICM were analyzed. Results Levels of plasma BNP and serum Gal-3,FKN,and IL-6 in the DCM and ICM groups were higher than those in the control group, and their levels in the DCM group were significantly higher than in the ICM group.Levels of plasma BNP and serum Gal-3,FKN,and IL-6 increased as their New York Heart Association(NYHA)classification went higher in both the DCM and ICM groups. For patients classified at the same level, serum levels of Gal-3,FKN,and IL-6 of the DCM group were significantly higher than those of the ICM group(P < 0.05).BNP levels showed no difference between the two groups(P >0.05).Spearman correlation analysis indicated positive correlations of NYHA classification with levels of BNP(r =0.30,0.19),Gal-3(r=0.24,0.19),FKN(r =0.63,0.51),and IL-6(r =0.28,0.15)in both the DCM and ICM groups(P < 0.05),and the correlation was stronger in the DCM group. Conclusions Increased expression of plasma BNP,Gal-3,FKN,and IL-6 in patients with DCM and ICM are closely related to the severity of cardiac function impairment.Monitoring changes in levels of plasma BNP and serum inflammatory factors Gal-3,FKN and IL-6 provides important clues for the differential diagnosis between DCM and ICM,the assessment of clinical conditions and treatment-related decisions.

ABSTRACT
A method was developed for the determination of fumonisin B1 ( FB1 ) and fumonisin B2 ( FB2 ) in livestock and poultry formula feeds by high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS. After extracted by acetonitrile-water (50: 50, V/V) and purified with MAX solid phase extraction column, the fumonisins were separated by Thermo C18(100 mm×2. 1 mm, 5 μm) column with 0. 1% formic acid in water and methanol as the mobile phase. Multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) was used to acquire mass spectrometric data under electrospray positive ionization mode ( ESI+) . The results showed that the linear correlation coefficients (R2) of fumonisin FB1 and FB2 were all greater than 0. 999 in the range of 1-500 μg/L. The limits of quantitation (LOQ) were 0. 098 and 0. 197 μg/L, and the limits of detection ( LOD) were 0. 328 and 0. 656 μg/L, respectively. At different spiked levels, the recoveries of FB1 and FB2 were ranged from 89. 7% to 95. 1%, and the relative standard deviation ( RSD) was ranged from 3. 2% to 8. 6%. Additionally, the detection rate reached 98. 11% screening through the established method in the 106 livestock and poultry formula feeds collected from markets. This result indicates that the method is suitable for accurate quantitative analysis of FB1 and FB2 in different complicated livestock and poultry formula feeds.

Objective To study the infection status of Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) and sensitivity to commonly used antibiotics in Taizhou district,Zhejiang province. Methods 39 099 cases aged between 5 and 95 years old(mean as 48.42 years)were involved during January 2010 to December,2013 for this study. Sex ratio was 1 ∶ 0.95. Yearly distribution of the number of cases were 5 031,6 709,11 902 and 15 457 in 2010,2011,2012 and 2013,respectively. Gastric mucosal specimens were collected and H. pylori strains were isolated and cultured in the same platform in Zhiyuan Medical Inspection Institute of Hangzhou. Resistance tests of all the H. pylori isolates were performed to 6 commonly used antibiotics:metronidazole, clarithromycin, amoxicillin, gentamicin, levofloxacin and furazolidone with the agar dilution method. The antibiotic resistance rates of H. pylori strains isolated during year 2010-2013 and the changing trends were analyzed. Results Resistance rates to levofloxacin and clarithromycin kept at higher level and the highest was in 2011 and then decreased in both 2012 and 2013 (P<0.01). The resistance rates to both levofloxacin and clarithromycin reached the highest in 2011(P<0.01),and decreased thereafter, with no significant change in 2013 to 2012(P>0.05). Conclusion Antibiotic resistance rate against metronidazole for HP isolate was highest. Resistance rate against amoxicillin and furazolidone, gentamicin was low. Clinical treatment should choose amoxicillin and furazolidone, gentamicin. The resistance rates to levofloxacin and clarithromycin had been seen at a significantly downwarding trend since 2011. However, the combined resistance rates to levofloxacin and clarithromycin did not seem to reduce since 2012.
