ABSTRACT

Ewing's sarcoma in the cervix is characterized by extremely rare occurrence,high degree of malignancy,and rapid progression.The diagnosis of this disease is based on pathology and immunohistochemistry. The main image of the case reported in this paper showed the cervical cyst with solid mass,large volume,and uneven density and signal,and the solid part can be strengthened in enhanced scanning.Because of the rapid growth,the lesion is prone to liquefaction necrosis and bleeding.Since the metastasis occurs early,timely diagnosis is essential.

ABSTRACT

The purpose of the present study was to investigate the effect of transient receptor potential vanilloid 4 (TRPV4) channel on the permeability of pulmonary microvascular endothelial cells (PMVECs) in rats with chronic hypoxia-induced pulmonary hypertension (CHPH), so as to clarify the mechanism of vascular endothelial dysfunction during the occurrence of pulmonary hypertension (PH). CHPH rat model was established by exposure to chronic hypoxia (CH) for 21 days. Primary PMVECs were cultured by adherent tissue blocks at the edge of the lung. The permeability coefficient of primary cultured PMVECs was detected by fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC)-dextran. The structure of tight junction (TJ) was observed by transmission electron microscope. The expression of TRPV4 and TJ-related proteins, such as, Occludin, Claudin-5, ZO-1 were examined by real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR and Western blotting. ABSTRACT

Objective:To investigate the frequency of myeloid dendritic cells (mDC) and plasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDC) in peripheral blood of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and their relationship with renal injury.Methods:The frequency of peripheral mDC and pDC in 102 SLE patients and 10 healthy controls were detected by flow cytometry. The quantitative data were expressed by [ M( P25, P75)]. The measurement data of the two groups with non-normal distribution was analyzed by Mann Whitney U test. The correlation between the two groups was analyzed by Spearman rank correlation analysis and multiple linear regression. Results:The frequency of pDC [14.00%(7.92%, 19.65%) vs 24.55%(19.68%, 32.90%), Z=-3.163, P<0.01] and mDC [21.25%(13.28%, 32.83%) vs 34.85%(24.58%, 41.93%), Z=-2.607, P<0.01] in the peripheral blood of 102 patients with SLE were significantly lower than those of healthy controls. The frequency of pDC [9.09%(7.31%, 17.38%) vs 24.55%(19.68%, 32.90%), Z=-3.033, P=<0.01] and mDC [9.40%(7.88%, 21.60%) vs 34.85%(24.58%, 41.93%), Z=-3.231, P<0.01] in 12 patients with newly diagnosed SLE were also significantly lower than those in healthy controls. After adjustedfor confounding factors, multivariate analysis showed that SLEDAI level was the main factor influencing the frequency of pDC ( P=0.019) and mDC ( P<0.01). In addition, pDC[8.02%(2.25%, 9.97%) vs 16.70%(11.80%, 24.60%), Z=-2.490, P=0.015] and mDC[8.80%(5.99%, 12.80%) vs 20.20%(11.20%, 42.80%), Z=-2.226, P=0.029] in patients with active LN were also significantly lower than that of patients with stable LN. The mDC frequency was positively correlated with the levels of complement C3 ( r=0.455, P<0.01) and C4 ( r= 0.289, P, P<0.01). Conclusion:The frequency of mDC and pDC in SLE patients is significantly abnormal, which is closely related to disease activity. In addition, pDC and mDC may be involved in the occurrence and development of LN.

@#Objective To analyze genetic characteristics of hemagglutinin( HA) gene of H9N2 avian influenza viruses( AIVs) circulating in Anhui Province from 2013 to 2018. Methods All H9N2 positive samples tested by real-time polymerase chain reaction( PCR) were inoculated into specific patho- gen free ( SPF) chicken eggs for isolation and purification. Viral RNA was reversely transcribed into cD- NA and then amplified with gene specific primers. PCR products were sequenced and the gene sequences were analyzed using molecular and bioinformatics software. The DATAMONKEY online server was conducted to analyze selection pressure,and protein structure homology modelling was computed by the SWISS-MODEL server. Results 33 H9N2 AIVs isolated from live poultry markets belonged to h9.4.2.5 in the phylogenetic tree. The receptor binding sites of HA gene at 183,226 and 227 position were mutated into N,L and M,respectively. Meanwhile 189 and 190 sites presented with genetic polymorphism. Since 2015,all H9N2 viruses in this study carried 6 potential N-linked glycosylation sites. It was found that po- sition 160 of HA gene was subjected greater positive selection pressure,presented 7 spatial conformations at least. Conclusions The H9N2 viruses isolated from live poultry markets in Anhui Province possess the molecular characteristics of infecting mammals and the ability of antigenic drift,so we need to pay more attention to the genetic characteristics of the viruses.

ABSTRACT

ObjectiveAnimal model is an important means to study the pathogenesis and drug therapy of diabetic nephropathy. In this paper, the techniques of bioinformatics were used to analyze the common susceptibility genes and pathways in the kidneys of three diabetic nephropathy animal models of BKS db/db, BKS eNOS-/db/db and DBA-STZ3, so as to discover new and important genes and pathways, thus providing new ideas for the study of the pathogenesis of diabetic nephropathy.MethodsThe GSE33744 dataset was downloaded from the GEO database, and the differential genes of three animal models of diabetic nephropathy were analyzed by Limma package in R language. The genes differentially expressed in all models were obtained by intersection, and were then analyzed by GO, KEGG and PPI networks and screened for key genes and pathways.Results144 genes were differentially expressed in three animal models of diabetic nephropathy. GO analysis showed that these genes were enriched in the cell membrane and extracellular regions; in biological processes such as innate immune response, oxidation-reduction process and immune system process; and in molecular functions such as oxidoreductase activity, carbohydrate binding and heme binding. KEGG analysis indicated that the differential genes were enriched in signaling pathways such as PPAR signaling pathway, arachidonic acid metabolism, butyric acid metabolism and circadian rhythm. PPI network analysis suggested that Cd68, Ccl6, Fcer1g, Tyrobp, Clec4n, Lyz2, Ms4a6d, Ly86, Ctss, Cfp and Mpeg1 may be the key genes in the development of diabetic nephropathy.ConclusionSome genes and signaling pathways are altered in multiple kidneys of the diabetic animal models, suggesting that these genes and pathways play an important role in the pathogenesis of diabetic nephropathy.

Objective To explore the distribution and disease characteristics of influenza virus A in severe pneumonia cases in Nanchang city, so as to provide evidence for clinical prevention and treatment of severe pneumonia cases. Methods The respiratory samples and clinical case data of severe pneumonia cases were collected and the etiology and epidemiology were analyzed in Nanchang from April 2013 to March 2018. Results From April 2013 to March 2018, 261 case patients of severe pneumonia from 17 medical institutions in Nanchang were enrolled. 77 cases was detected as positive for influenza A virus nucleic acid, accounting for 29.50% of the total cases, as follow: 39 cases of A (H1N1pdm) influenza, 13 A (H3), 16 H7N9 and 3 H10N8 avian influenza. Cases were mainly concentrated in winter and spring (from December to May of next year, with median age 48 of years, including 48 males and 31 females. 21 cases of human infection with H7N9/H10N8 avian influenza were reported in Nanchang during 5 years, with the fatality rate of 33.33%. 90.48% (19/21) cases were detected by unexplained pneumonia surveillance system. The median age was 69 years, most of them had underlying diseases and a clear history of poultry contact. Conclusions Nearly 30% of the severe pneumonia cases in Nanchang city were infected with influenza A virus, among which influenza A (H1N1pdm) virus was the main epidemic strain. All deaths were caused by avian influenza virus infection.

ABSTRACT

This study was designed to investigate the inhibitory effect and mechanism of neferine (Nef) on invasion and metastasis of nasopharyngeal carcinoma cells (NPC). The viability of CNE-1 and 5-8F cells was detected by CCK-8 assay after treatment with different concentrations of Nef. The effects of Nef on cell migration and invasion were detected by the scratch test and Transwell assay. Western blot analysis was used to detect the effects of Nef on levels of epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT)-associated proteins and transcription factors. The differentially expressed gene profiles between control group and Nef group were analyzed by microRNA microarray, combined with bioinformation analysis. It was observed that 30 μmol·L-1 Nef had no significant effect on the viability of CNE-1 and 5-8F cells. Western blot assay showed that the expression level of neurotroponin cadherin (N-cadherin) and vimentin decreased after treatment with Nef, while the expression of epithelial cadherin (E-cadherin) increased. The expression of transcription factors including Twist, Snail, and Slug exhibited no significant difference. Results of the microRNA microarray suggest that 10 microRNAs showed significant differences when compared with the control group. Bioinformatics analysis showed that hsa-let-7c-5p and hsa-microRNA-423-5p targeted the same downstream genes: small integral membrane protein 3 (SMIM3) and nerve growth factor (NGF). Overexpression of hsa-let-7c-5p and hsa-miR-423-5p promoted the invasion and migration ability of 5-8F cells and decreased the expression of SMIM3 and NGF. The results from this study suggest that Nef may inhibit the invasion and metastasis of NPC cells by inhibiting the expression of hsa-let-7c-5p and hsa-miR-423-5p followed by the upregulation of SMIM3 and NGF; thus, regulating the expression of EMT-associated proteins. Our data have provided experimental evidence for the inhibition of tumor invasion and metastasis by Nef.

ABSTRACT

Objective@#To investigate the application of coronary angiography (CAG) in children with Kawasaki disease complicated with coronary artery lesion (CAL).@*Methods@#A total of 139 patients (115 boys and 24 girls, age (48±42) months) with Kawasaki disease complicated with CAL underwent CAG between June 2006 and June 2018 in Children′s Hospital of Fudan University. CAL in all children were at grade Ⅲ and above assessed by echocardiography and underwent CAG under general anesthesia with parental consent. A retrospective analysis was performed to identify the safety and complication of CAG, degree of satisfaction of image, distribution of CAL, and the treatment and follow-up management according to the result of CAG.@*Results@#All the 139 patients underwent CAG, and 17 patients received CAG twice. In these cases, there was a total of 309 CAL with an average of 2.22 CAL per patient. After CAG, children were re-graded as grade Ⅲ in 33 cases, grade Ⅳ in 56 cases, grade Ⅴa in 33 cases and grade Ⅴb in 17 cases according to the clinical severity. Ten patients (7.2%) had only aortic root angiography and 129 (92.8%) patients had selective left or right CAG. Among these, 27 cases (19.4%) showed thrombosis in coronary aneurysm, 23 cases (16.5%) showed coronary artery stenosis, 4 cases (2.9%) showed recanalization after occlusion in right coronary artery. All the patients obtained satisfied images, and no complication was found. Eight of the grade Ⅴb patients underwent coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). One patient died during the surgery due to severe heart failure, and the other seven patients received CABG successfully and recovered well during a long-term follow up (18 to 108 months).@*Conclusions@#CAG is safe for children with Kawasaki disease with CAL, and the images of CAG are satisfied. Patients who were graded according to CAG and received the corresponding surgical treatment could get satisfied effect in the medium and long-term follow-up.

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the prevalence of vitamin D deficiency in the new onset and treatment-naive systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) patients and study the correlation between serum 25(OH)D values and disease activity of SLE. Methods A retrospective case series analysis was done in 117 new-onset and treatment-na?ve SLE hospitalized patients during May 2016 and May 2017 in the Department of Rheumatology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University and 39 age and gender matched healthy controls. Cinical and demographic details were collected. Disease activity of SLE was evaluated according to the systemic lupus erythematosus disease activity index (SLEDAI) score. The t-test, Mann-Whitney U test, Chi-square test, Spearman rank correlation coefficient test and multivariate linear regres sion were performed. Results Among the 117 SLE patients, 102 were female (87.2%) with the mean age of (36 ± 15) years. The median duration before diagnosis was 5(1, 12) months and the mean SLEDAI score was (12 ±7). The mean level of 25(OH)D was significantly lower in SLE patients [(10.1±6.0) ng/ml] than in healthy controls [(17 ±8) ng/ml, t=-5.273, P<0.01 ], and the prevalence of vitamin D deficiency was higher in SLE patients (109/117, 93.2%) than in healthy controls (28/39, 71.8%, x2=12.486, P<0.01). With 10 ng/ml as the cut-off point of serum 25 (OH)D, patients were divided into two groups. The percentages of haematological damage (84.3% vs 66.0%, x2=5.321, P=0.021), lupus nephritis (32.9% vs 14.9%, x2=4.759, P=0.029) and serositis (28.6% vs 8.5%, x2=6.940, P=0.008), SLEDAI score [(13±8) vs (9±5), t=3.503, P=0.001)] and 24-hour urinary protein [(0.57±1.05) vs (0.21±0.46), t=2.437, P=0.017] were significantly higher in the 25 (OH)D<10 ng/ml group, but complement C3 [(0.5±0.3) g/L vs (0.7±0.3) g/L t=-2.441, P=0.016] and hemoglobin [(93±19) g/L vs (104 ±19) g/L, t=-3.052, P=0.003) were significantly lower in this group. The differences were statistically significant. SLEDAI score (r=-0.433, P=0.000), 24-hour urinary protein (r=-0.434, P=0.000)was significantly inversely correlated and complement C3 (r=0.296, P=0.001), hemoglobin (r=0.323, P=0.000) was significantly positively correlated with serum 25(OH)D level. There was an independent inverse correlation between SLEDAI score and serum 25(OH)D levels (β=-0.376, P=0.000). Conclusion The prevalence of vitamin D deficiency in the new-onset and treatment-naive systemic lupus erythematosus patients is significantly higher than that in healthy controls. There is an independent inverse correlation between serum 25 (OH)D values and disease activity of SLE.

TO understand the relationship between osteoarthritis(OA) and osteoporosis as well as the subtypes of OA may pave the way for patient stratification and the development of precision medicines for OA. Osteoporosis(OP) may cause OA development,while OA patients have higher risk for fracture. Abnormal subchondral bone remodeling and subsequent microstructural damage is key pathogenesis of osteoporotic OA. Bone-acting agents, such as bisphosphonate, may be a new choice for osteoporotic OA.

ABSTRACT

Objective: To analyze and compare the difference of volatile components between Trifolium pratense and T. repens seeds.Method: The volatile components were extracted by the headspace solid phase microextraction (HS-SPME) method and analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS),and the relative contents of the components were calculated by the area normalization method.Result: Fourty six compounds were identified in the seeds of T. pratense,with a total peak area of 3.48×109 for the volatile components. The compounds with high content in this species were 1-octen-3-ol (30.24%),1-hexanol (11.94%),heptane,2,2,4,6,6-pentamethyl (11.00%),nonanal (7.74%),octanal (6.79%) and hexanoic acid (6.04%). 44 compounds were identified from the seeds of T. repens,with a total peak area of 6.37×109 for the volatile components. The compounds with high content in this species were 1-octen-3-ol (42.98%),heptadecane (14.47%),3-octanol (9.42%),n-caproic acid vinyl ester (8.82%) and pyrimidine-4,6-diol,5-methyl (6.59%). 20 components were commonly shared in the seeds of T. pratense and T. repens,but the content of each component was quite different. 1-octen-3-ol had the highest content in the common components. T. pratense seeds had 26 unique components,accounting for 54.85%of volatile components. T. repens seeds had 24 unique components,accounting for 46.79%of volatile components.Conclusion: The seeds of both T. pratense and T. repens have rich volatile components,but there are great difference in the variety,peak area and relative content of the volatile components between these two varieties

OBJECTIVE@#To investigate the anti-proliferative effects of saponins prepared from Plena Clematis (PC) cultured in Fujian Province, China on 4 human tumor cell lines and its possible anti-tumor mechanism.@*METHODS@#The growth inhibition assays of saponins on human esophageal squamous carcinoma cell line (EC9706), human hepatoma cell line (HepG-2), human oral cancer cell line (KB) and human gastric cancer cell line (BGC-823) were evaluated in vitro by thiazolyl blue (MTT) method. The inhibitory effects on EC9706 treated with different concentrations of saponins (15.62, 31.25, 62.50, 125, 250 and 500 μg/mL) were performed in vitro by MTT method. The morphology and nuclear staining with acridine orange/ethidium bromide of EC9706 cells treated with saponins were illustrated under an inverted phase fluorescence microscope. The apoptotic effects of saponins were further evaluated by annexin-V/propidium iodide dual staining experiment to examine the occurrence of phosphatidylserine externalization onto the cell surface by a flflow cytometer.@*RESULTS@#MTT assay showed that the saponins could inhibit the proliferation of 4 tumor cell lines. Among them, the maximum inhibition rate of 73.1% was detected in EC9706 cells at the saponins concentration of 250 μg/mL for 24 h. Further investigation indicated that the saponins induced EC9706 cells apoposis. The EC9706 cells presented apoptotic characteristics when treated with saponins, including that the morphologies of EC9706 cells were appeared round-shaped with higher refraction, and the cell nuclear stained orange with EB after 250 μg/mL saponins exposure. The flow cytometry analysis results showed that the induction of cell cycle arrest in apoptotic system may participate in the anti-proliferative activity of saponins on EC9706 cells.@*CONCLUSION@#The saponins from PC exhibited significant cytotoxicity against human EC9706, KB, BGC-823, and HepG-2 cells and might be beneficial to development of ethnic pharmaceutical plant for potential anti-tumor drugs.

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the distribution characteristics and function of peripheral regulatory T cells (CD4+CD25+Foxp3+T cells) in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).In addition,we analyzed the relationship between peripheral regulatory T cells and organ damage and the influence of different treatment regimens on them.Methods Two hundred and six SLE patients and 38 healthy volunteers were enrolled,which included 12 patients with untreated new-onset lupus,11 patients with drug withdrawal more than six months and 183 patients with treatments.Phenotypic and functional analysis of peripheral blood CD4+CD25+Foxp3+T cells were performed by flow cytometry.The correlations of CD4+CD25+Foxp3+ T cells with disease activity,organ involvement were analyzed.Thealtered frequency of CD4+CD25 +Foxp3+T cells under different treatment regimens was compared.Statistical Package form Soci-science (SPSS) 21.0 software was used for data analysis,Student's t test,one-way ANOVA,Mann-Whitney T test,Kruskal-Wallis test,Chi-square test,Simple linear correlation analysis was used.Results CD4 +CD25 +Foxp3 + T cells were significantly increased inactive SLE patients [1 1.9% (9.3%,16.0%),mean difference =104.71,P<0.01] and inactive SLE patients [11.0%(7.7%,14.7%),mean difference=86.10,P<0.01] compared with healthy controls [6.1%(5.3%,7.4%)].CD4+CD25+Foxp3+T cellsshowed sign-ificantly positive correlations with SLEDAI-2K (r=0.191,P<0.05),dsDNA (r=0.262,P<0.05),ESR (r=0.208,P<0.05) and lgG (r=0.163,P<0.05),and significantly negatively correlated with complementC3 (r=-0.201,P<0.05) and C4 (r=-0.227,P<0.05).Compared with patients without organ damage (Occult lupus),the CD4+CD25+Foxp3+T cells were increased in SLE patients with organ damage,especially those with skin involvement [10.9%(7.8%,13.1%),mean difference=56.93,P<0.05] and renal involvement [12.1%(9.1%,16.0%),mean difference=77.26,P<0.05].The proportion of CD4+CD25+Foxp3+T cells had no significant difference between SLE patients with treatments and patients with untreated new-onset lupus.The expressions of CTLA-4 [(53±15)%,t=7.04,P<0.01],GITR [(42±19)%,t=2.64,P<0.01] and ICOS [(28±9)%,t=4.27,P<0.01] on CD4+CD25+Foxp3+T cells were significantly lower in SLE patients than in healthy controls [CTLA-4 (71±4)%,GITR (53±10)% and ICOS (41±6)%].IL-17 synthesized by CD4+CD25+Foxp3+T cells in SLE patients [3.0%(1.8%,3.9%)] was significantly higher than that in healthy controls [1.0%(0.7%,1.2%),Z=-4.40,P<0.01].Conclusion The peripheral regulatory T cells are significantly increased in SLE patients and correlate with disease activity and organ damage.However,their inhibitory function is defective and they have more pro-inflammatory character-istics.

Objective To investigate the effect of intra-articular tumor necrosis factor (TNF) inhibitor injection in patients with moderate to severe rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and values of power Doppler ultrasonography in evaluating effect of intra-articular injection.Methods RA patients with arthritis in knee and/or elbow and/or ankle referred to the Department of Rheumatology in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University were enrolled to receive intra-articular injection with 50 mg or 25 mg of recombinant human tumor necrosis factor-α receptor Ⅱ:IgG Fc fusion protein (TNFR:Fc) for injection after synovial fluid aspiration.Evaluation of visual analogue scale for pain of the involved joints,erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR),C reactive protein (CRP) and 28-joint disease activity score (DAS28) were performed before and after intra-articular TNFR:Fc injection.Synovial hypertrophy,power Doppler signal and joint effusion were analyzed and graded by ultrasound before and after intra-articular TNFR:Fc injection.Comparisons of continuous data between groups was made by t test.The data that were not normally distributed was analyzed by Mann-Whitney U rank sum test.Results Fifty-four patients with RA [6 men and 48 women,mean age (52±11) years,mean duration of disease (7±3) years] were included in this study.A significant decrease in visual analogue scale for pain of the involved joints (t=2.630,P=0.018;t=2.160,P=0.043),ESR (t=2.094,P=0.030;Z=-2.242,P=0.030),CRP (Z=-2.199,P=0.030;Z=-3.337,P=0.001) and DAS28 (t=3.579,P=0.002;t=5.538,P=0.000) were observed after one month of injection of 50 mg or 25 mg of TNFR:Fc.Synovial hypertrophy (t=2.175,P=0.036;t=2.280,P=0.030) power Doppler signal (t=2.500,P=0.020;Z=-2.504,P=0.013) and joint effusion (Z=-1.790,P=0.042;t=2.230,P=0.027) were reduced significantly after one month of intra-articular TNFR:Fc injection in knee.Synovial hypertrophy (t=2.180,P=0.034;t=2.480,P=0.030) and power Doppler signal (t=2.681,P=0.020;t=5.482,P=0.000) were also reduced significantly after one month of intra-articular TNFR:Fc injection in elbow and ankle.Conclusion Intra-articular TNFR:Fc injection is an effective and safe treatment in RA patients with monoarthritis.Ultrasound may be an objective and valid method in evaluating the effect of intraarticular TNF inhibitor injection in RA patients.

ABSTRACT

Purpose Lymph-vascular invasion (LVI) is a risk factor for the prognosis of colorectal cancer, and it is of great value to evaluate the status of lymphatic vessels before treatment. This study aims to predict colorectal cancer LVI preoperatively based on radiomics. Materials and Methods Radiomics features were extracted from preoperative CT images of colorectal cancer retrospectively collected and radiomics labels were constructed. The predictive efficacy of radiomics labels were assessed and internally verified. Joint predictive factors were established by combining clinical factors with independent predictive efficacy and radiomics labels, and their predictive efficacy was evaluated. Results Radiomics labels consisted of 58 radiomics features were correlated with LVI status (P<0.0001)with the former showing good discrimination ability[C-index 0.719,95% CI:0.715-0.723]and classification ability(sensitivity 0.726, specificity 0.628) with internal validation (C-index 0.720). Joint predictive factors containing radiomics labels and carcino-embryonic antigen further enhanced the predictability of radiomics labels (C-index 0.751, sensitivity 0.788, specificity 0.667). Conclusion The radiomics labels built in this study can provide individualized prediction of LVI status of patients with colorectal cancer before surgery. Joint predictive factors in combination with clinical risk factors further improved predictive efficacy.

Objective Blood pressure variability (BPV) is an independent risk factor for the death of patients with maintenance hemodialysis (MHD).There is no study on the influencing factors of BPV at home in HD patients in China.The article aimed to investigate MHD patients'BPV at home and related influencing factors in order to provide theoretical basis for reducing home BPV (HBPV) clinically. Methods We chose 103 patients who were treated with MHD in the Renal Medicine Room of Nephrology Department in three upper first -class hospitals including Jiangsu Provincial People 's Hospital, the First Affiliated Hospital of Suzhou University and the Affiliated Hospi -tal of Jiangsu University from March 2017 to October 2017.We col-lected their 7 days'blood pressure monitoring at home and blood pressure before dialysis, average value and standard deviation in sys -tolic blood pressure monitoring at home, and took the coefficient of variation of systolic blood pressure as the expression of HBPV .The patients were divided into high BPV group (BPV≥5.8%) and low BPV group (BPV<5.8%) according to the average BPV.At the same time, we recorded indexes such as sex , age, dialysis age, primary disease, BMI, inter-dialytic weight gain (IDWG), left ven-tricular mass index(LVMI) and analyzed relative influencing factors by multiple linear regression . Results The age, IDWG and LV-MI were positive independent influencing factors of HBPV (R 2 =0.467,F=10.945,P<0.001).According to standardized regression co-efficient, the contribution of each variable to HBPV was as follows : PIBWG >Age>LVMI. Conclusion In clinical nursing, we should actively control the IDWG of patients , encourage patients to monitor their blood pressure at home , and increase their awareness of the importance of home BPV.Meanwhile, HBPV is an important index for predicting left ventricular hypertrophy and can be used as an objective tool to improve patients 'self-management ability.

Objective@#To analyze the epidemiological characteristics and the pathogenic features of the influenza B virus strains circulating in Anhui province during 2017-2018 influenza surveillance year.@*Methods@#The antigenic characteristics of influenza B virus was analyzed with reference ferret anti-sera. The hemagglutinin (HA) and neuraminidase (NA) genes of influenza B viruses isolated in Anhui during this period were obtained by Sanger dideoxy sequencing. Then the phylogenetic trees and amino acid mutations were analyzed respectively.@*Results@#During 2017-2018 influenza season, the activity of B Yamagata lineage virus were stronger than B Victoria lineage virus. Most of B Yamagata lineage viruses had close antigenic relation with the vaccine strain B/Phuket/3073/2013(93.3%), but D196 N substitution was detected on HA protein in all of Yamagata lineage viruses. All of B Victoria lineage viruses had close antigenic relation with the vaccine strain B/Brisbane/60/2008(100%), meanwhile I117 V and N129D were found on HA protein. Phylogenetic analysis on B influenza viruses indicated that Yamagata clade 3 and Victoria clade 1A were predominant strains, however we found that two strains had intra-clade reassortants between HA and NA gene. The NA gene of all strains did not find a molecular mutation that was less sensitive to neuraminidase.@*Conclusions@#The WHO recommended influenza vaccine could protect from influenza B virus isolated from Anhui province. However, it is still necessary to pay close attention to its significant epitope variation in order to update the vaccine candidates in time.

ABSTRACT

AIM: To explore the efficacy of EX-PRESS combined with amniotic membrane implantation for open angle glaucoma. METHODS:The data of 43 eyes of 43 patients with open angle glaucoma were enrolled from January 2014 to January 2017. The patients were randomly divided into amniotic group and mitomycin (MMC) group. All cases received EX-PRESS combined with amniotic membrane implantation (amniotic group) or with intraoperative application of mitomycin (MMC group). The early postoperative anterior chamber formation, filtering bleb, intraocular pressure ( IOP) and complications were analyzed. RESULTS: The intraocular pressure of the two groups were significantly lower at 1wk,1 and 6mo after operation than those before operation (P<0. 05). There was no significant difference in the best corrected visual acuity in the two groups at 1wk after operation compared with before operation(P>0.05). At 1 and 6mo postoperatively, the rate of functional bleb formation was 91% and 73% in amniotic group, and they were 90% and 86% in MMC group, respectively, the difference between the groups were not statistically significant (all P>0.05). At 1 and 6mo postoperatively,the total success rate was 95%,86% in amniotic group, and they were 95%, 90% in MMC group, respectively, the difference between the groups were not statistically significant (all P>0. 05). At 1wk postoperatively, the incidence of shallow anterior chamber was 9% in amniotic group and 33% in the MMC group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0 05). At 1mo postoperatively, the incidence of bleb leakage was 5% in amniotic group and 29% in MMC group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0 05). At the end of follow-up, there were 4 eyes of thin-wall bleb in MMC group and no cases in amniotic group. CONCLUSION: EX - PRESS combined with amniotic membrane implantation for open angle glaucoma is good on lowering intraocular pressure with less complications than the combination of MMC.
