Objective The study aimed to analyze the main risk factors of diabetes mellitus in different districts of Ninghai county.Method A total of 3 210 cases including 715 cases form town center,1 413 cases in the coastal area and 1 082 cases in mountain areas were investigated by multistage cluster random sampling.Risk factors of chronic disease survey was developed in January 2016,Chi square tests and logistic regression were performed to compare differences.Result The survey was conducted in 277 diabetic patients, with a prevalence of 8.63%.The prevalence of diabetes was 13.99% (100/715),7.29% (103/1 413)and 7.84% (74/1 082) for town center, coastal area and mountain area. The prevalence of diabetes mellitus in town centers was higher than that in coastal and mountainous areas(x2=33.64,P<0.05).The results of multivariate Logistic regression analysis suggested that regional factors are the main influencing factors of diabetes mellitus.Compared with urban areas, the risk of diabetes mellitus in coastal areas(OR=0.492,95%CI:0.350-0.690) and mountainous areas (OR=0.479,95%CI:0.336-0.684)is lower.Family history of diabetes mellitus(OR=4.405,95%CI:3.022-6.420),long-term static time (OR=1.092,95%CI:1.034-1.153),central obesity(OR=1.699,95%CI:1.230-2.346),hypertension(OR=1.837,95%CI:1.346-2.508) and dyslipidemia (OR=2.143,95%CI:1.614-2.846)are risk factors for diabetes mellitus.Low age group (15-29 years old is the smallest,OR=0.032,95%CI:0.008-0.136)and proper egg consumption(minimum frequency per day,OR=0.347,95%CI:0.183-0.661)were protective factors. Conclusion Regional factors are the main influencing factors of diabetes mellitus in Ninghai County.Prevention and control should be tailored to local conditions. We should make monitoring and early prevention, and carry out targeted intervention in a targeted manner.

Objective To research the effects of alprostadil on nerve conduction velocity and blood flow status of 120 patients with type 2 diabetic peripheral neuropathy. Methods 120 cases of patients with type 2 diabetic peripheral neuropathy in our hospital were selected as the research objects.According to the hospital admission, they were divided into observation group and control group. The control group was treated with Mecobalamin intravenous drip treatment; on the basis of the above treatment, the observation group was treated with alprostadil intravenous drip treatment, and the treatment time was two weeks. To established the relevant clinical curative effect standard for evaluated and compared the clinical therapeutic effect of the two groups. Before and after treatment, compared the nerve conduction velocity and blood flow between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 86.67%,and the control group was 71.67%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Before treatment, there were no significant differences between the two groups in nerve conduction velocity and blood rheology indexes. After treatment, the median nerve MNSV,common nerve MNSV,median nerve SNCV,common nerve SNCV of the observation group were(54.14±7.29)m/s,(50.22±7.85)m/s,(48.47±7.64m/s and(47.04±6.58m/s respectively, were significantly higher than the control group(50.11±6.85)m/s,(46.24±7.08)m/s,(44.58±7.21)m/s,(43.57±6.55)m/s.The observation group of plasma viscosity, high shear viscosity and low shear viscosity levels were(2.48±0.29)Mpa/s,(4.87±0.41)Mpa/s,(33.46±2.77)Mpa/s,were significantly lower than the control group(2.83±0.33)Mpa/s,(5.23±0.44)Mpa/s,(34.83±2.54)Mpa/s,and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Alprostadil can significantly improve nerve conduction velocity and blood flow condition in patients with type 2 diabetic peripheral neuropathy, has better clinical curative effect.

Purpose: This study is to observe the therapeutic effect of puncturing acupoints Dazhui (GV 14), Fengchi (GB 20), Jiaji (Ex-B 2), Waiguan (TE 5), Qiuxu (GB 40) and Zhaohai (KI 6) on vascular headache. Methods: 68 cases of vascular headache were divided into treatment group including 38 cases and control group including 30 cases. The patients in treatment group were treated by puncturing Dazhui (GV 14), Fengchi (GB 20), Jiaji C26 (Ex-B 2),Waiguan (TE 5), Qiuxu (GB 40) through Zhaohai (KI 6) and patients in control group were asked to take Pizotifen orally. Results: After 2 courses of treatments, 35 cases got effect in treatment group, and 22 cases got effect in control group, the therapeutic effect in treatment group was superior to that in control group (P< 0.05). Conclusions: Puncturing Dazhui (GV 14), Fengchi (GB 20), Jiaji C26(Ex-B 2), Waiguan (TE 5), Qiuxu (GB 40) and Zhaohai (KI 6)is effective for the vascular headache.

Betacellulin (BTC) is one of "islets regeneration factors" which received more and more attention these years. BTCe is the C-terminal 50-residue region of mature BTC protein and can bind with erbB-1?erbB-4 receptor. It has the same mitogenic activity on cells as the whole section. BTC and BTCe can improve the level of glucose-stimulated insulin secretion (GSIS) during islets culture in vitro though they had no effect on the acute insulin secretion. BTCe also effectively ameliorated the hyperglycemia of STZ-induced diabetic rats by a single plasmid injection into muscle of rats. It is supposed that BTCe promote the proliferation of PDX-1 positive cells or repair some signal transduction pathway. Perhaps the latter is more important.

AIM: AIM: To explore the relationship between apoptosis in the lung tissues and lung ischemia/reperfusion injury, and observe effects of panax notoginseng saponins (PNS) on apoptosis in lung ischemia/reperfusion injury. METHODS: Single lung in situ ischemia/reperfusion animal model was used. Eighty four Japanese white rabbits were randomly divided into control group (control), ischemia/reperfusion 1 h group (IR1h), IR3h, IR5h, Panax Notoginseng Saponins 1 h group (PNS1h), PNS3h and PNS5h. TUNEL, immunocytochemistry and in situ hybridization techniques were used to observe apoptosis and Fas/FasL expression in various phases of lung ischemia/reperfusion. RESULTS: Cell apoptosis in lung tissues were significantly high, Fas/FasL mRNA and its protein were up-regulated in lung tissues of lung ischemia/reperfusion injury compared with control (all of P

AIM: To investigate the effect of heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1)/carbon monoxide (CO) system on pulmonary ischemia-reperfusion injury (PIRI) in rabbits. METHODS: Single lung ischemia and reperfusion animal model was used in vivo. The rabbits were randomly divided into three groups (n=10 in each), control group (C), PIR group (I-R), PIR+ hemin group (H) and PIR+zinc protoporphyrin IX (ZnPP) group (Z). Changes of several parameters which included plasma carboxyhemoglobin (COHb) at different time points, wet to dry ratio of lung tissue weight (W/D), the injured alveoli rate (IAR) and the HO-1 enzymatic activity were measured at 180 min after reperfusion in lung tissue. The tissue slides were also stained by immunohistochemistry (IHC) and in situ hybridization (ISH) for HO-1 to detect the expression of HO-1 in lung and to analyze the optical density. The lung tissue was prepared for electron microscopic observation at 180 min after reperfusion. RESULTS: The plasma content of COHb in I-R, H, and Z group increased in a time-dependent manner after I-R. But the increment of H group was higher than that of I-R group, while that of Z group was lower. The HO-1 activity in lung tissue was highest in H group, followed by IR group, Z group, and C group (P
