ABSTRACT
Background@#High concentrations of particulate matter less than 2.5 μm in diameter (PM2.5) in poultry houses is an important cause of respiratory disease in animals and humans. Pseudomonas aeruginosa is an opportunistic pathogen that can induce severe respiratory disease in animals under stress or with abnormal immune functions. When excessively high concentrations of PM2.5 in poultry houses damage the respiratory system and impair host immunity, secondary infections with P. aeruginosa can occur and produce a more intense inflammatory response, resulting in more severe lung injury. @*Objectives@#In this study, we focused on the synergistic induction of inflammatory injury in the respiratory system and the related molecular mechanisms induced by PM2.5 and P. aeruginosa in poultry houses. @*Methods@#High-throughput 16S rDNA sequence analysis was used for characterizing the bacterial diversity and relative abundance of the PM2.5 samples, and the effects of PM2.5 and P. aeruginosa stimulation on inflammation were detected by in vitro and in vivo. @*Results@#Sequencing results indicated that the PM2.5 in poultry houses contained a high abundance of potentially pathogenic genera, such as Pseudomonas (2.94%). The lung tissues of mice had more significant pathological damage when co-stimulated by PM2.5 and P. aeruginosa, and it can increase the expression levels of interleukin (IL)-6, IL-8, and tumor necrosis factor-α through nuclear factor (NF)-κB pathway in vivo and in vitro. @*Conclusions@#The results confirmed that poultry house PM2.5 in combination with P. aeruginosa could aggravate the inflammatory response and cause more severe respiratory system injuries through a process closely related to the activation of the NF-κB pathway.

The levels of complement C3, C4 and C5b-9 were measured by ELISA at 1,3 and 7 days after admission. Results Comparing the two groups, the smoking history of group STEMI was 33. 00%,significantly lower than that of group NSTE-ACS 61. 25% ( P<0. 01) . The level of TnT,CK-MB,sICAM 1 and NT-proBNP in group STEMI was significantly lower than that in group NSTE-ACS ( t=60. 686,64. 010,47. 824,12. 975,P=0. 001) ,and the level of LVEF was significantly higher than that in the NSTE-ACS group ( t=10. 560,P=0. 001) . The levels of C3,C4 and C5b-9 in STEMI group were significantly higher than those in NSTE-ACS group (12. 946,8. 965,18. 125 in F group,P<0. 05), and the levels of C4 and C5b-9 in STEMI group were significantly higher than those in NSTE-ACS group on the 3rd and 7th day of onset ( P<0. 05) . According to GRACE score, there were significant differences in troponin T,soluble intercellular adhesion molecule 1,left ventricular ejection fraction,C3 and C4 among low-risk group, middle-risk group and high-risk group ( F=107. 636, 338. 866, 21. 708, 10. 923, 3. 229, P=0. 001 ) , Soluble intercellular adhesion molecule 1 ( SIAM 1) in high-risk group and middle-risk group was significantly higher than that in low-risk group. Troponin T, SIAM 1, C3 and C4 in high-risk group were significantly higher than those in the other two groups, while left ventricular ejection fraction was significantly lower than those in the other two groups ( P<0. 05 ) . The levels of C3, C4, C5b-9 were positively correlated with troponin T and soluble intercellular adhesion molecule 1 ( r=0. 488, 0. 358, 0. 291, 0. 297, 0. 251, 0. 289, P<0. 05 ) , and negatively correlated with left ventricular ejection fraction ( r=- 0. 392,-0. 259,-0. 215,P<0. 05) . Epithelial molecule 1 was correlated with left ventricular ejection fraction ( r=-0. 340,P=0. 001) ,and soluble intercellular adhesion molecule 1 was correlated with troponin T ( r=0. 533,P=0. 001) . Conclusion The activation mechanism of complement system in acute ischemic necrosis and its relationship with inflammatory factors have important clinical research value. C3,C4 and C5b-9 as an important component of complement system may be involved in the process of myocardial injury, and can be used as an indicator of myocardial injury.

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of electrothermal needle apparatus in treating mild hip osteoarthritis.Method Ninety patients were divided into a control group and a treatment group by using the random number table, 45 cases in each group. The treatment group was intervened byelectrothermal needleapparatus; the control group was treated with ordinary electroacupuncture plus TDP radiation. After 15-day treatment, the therapeutic efficacies of the two groups were evaluated by using Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) and Japanese Orthopaedic Association (JOA) scores.Result The VAS and JOA scores were improved inthe two groups after the treatment (P<0.05), and the improvements in the treatment group were more significant than those in the control group after the 15-day treatment (P<0.05).Conclusion Electrothermal needle apparatus can produce a significant therapeutic efficacy in treating mild hip osteoarthritis.
ABSTRACT
We developed a rehabilitation system by using the virtual reality technique and the Kinect in this paper. The system combines rehabilitation training with HMI and serious game organically, and provides a game and motion database to meet different patients' demands. Extended interface of game database is provided in two ways: personalized games can be developed by Virtools and Flash games which are suitable for patients' rehabilitation can be download from the Internet directly. In addition, the system provides patients with flexible interaction and easy control mode, and also presents real time data recording. An objective and subjective evaluation method is proposed to review the effectiveness of the rehabilitation training. According to the results of short questionnaires and the evaluation results of patients' rehabilitation training, the system compared with traditional rehabilitation can record and analyze the training data, which is useful to make rehabilitation plans. More entertainment and lower cost will increase patients' motivation, which helps to increase the rehabilitation effectiveness.

ABSTRACT
The duck circovirus (DuCV) infection in sick ducks from Fujian Province was investigated. The liver samples of 43 sick Muscovy ducks with infectious serositis were collected from 12 duck farms in Fujian Province.Based on the published sequences of DuCV, two primers were designed for the detection of DuCV and four pairs of primers were designed to amplify four overlapping fragments that cover the complete genome of DuCV. The specific PCR products were amplified from positive samples. The fragments were then cloned into pMD18-T vector and sequenced, and the full length genomic sequence of the FJ0601 isolate of DuCV was obtained. PCR analysis showed that the proportion of ducks which were positive for circovirus was 79% and 10 out of the 12 farms were positive. Sequence analysis showed that the complete genome of DuCV-FJ0601 was 1988 bp and possessed features common to the family Circoviridae which included a stem-loop structure and the Rep protein motifs. Homology analysis showed that FJ0601 isolate of DuCV had 97.3%~97.5% nucleotide sequence identity to all the four Taiwan isolates (TC1/2002, TC2/2002, TC3/2002, TC4/2002), 82.9% identity to the America (33753-52) isolate and 82.3% identity to the Germany isolate. Phylogenetic analysis with Clustal W, however, showed that FJ0601 isolate of DuCV was on a common branch with Taiwan isolates, and Germany and America isolates belonged to the other branch.
