ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE To explore suitable storage and transportation conditions for “internet plus drug delivery” under high- temperature conditions. METHODS A survey on high-temperature conditions in summer in Beijing was conducted; a retrospective analysis was conducted on “internet plus drug delivery” orders in our hospital from July 2021 to June 2022, summarizing the proportion and delivery range of drugs under different storage and transportation conditions. Additionally, simulation and validation experiments were performed to investigate optimal drug storage and transportation devices for “internet plus drug delivery” in Beijing under high-temperature conditions in summer. RESULTS The monthly average temperature in Beijing from June to August consistently exceeded 25.0 ℃ between 1991 and 2022. From July 2021 to June 2022, a total of 104 drugs were required to be stored below 25.0 ℃, accounting for 31.23% of the 333 drugs listed in our hospital’s “internet plus drug delivery” catalog in Beijing. These drugs were delivered 1 058 times, accounting for 19.63% of the total deliveries. Simulation and validation experiments demonstrated that the average maximum temperature during the next-day delivery process of “carton + foam box + composite aluminum film pearl cotton + 500 g ice bag×2 + gas column bag” was 9.6 ℃, the average minimum temperature was 2.7 ℃, and all the temperatures remained below 15.0 ℃, which could effectively ensure the quality of drugs. CONCLUSIONS Under the high-temperature conditions in summer in Beijing, the storage and transportation device of “carton + foam box + composite aluminum film pearl cotton + 500 g ice bag×2 + gas column bag” can meet the temperature requirements specified in the drug storage instructions for Beijing intra-city drug delivery.

ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT

Objective:To survey the job satisfaction of online contracted nurses who provide " Internet plus nursing services" for reference of hospital managers in improving their management mechanism in this regard. Methods:Based on the two-factor theory, a questionnaire was designed and a purposive sampling method was used to survey the online contracted nurses in Anhui province in April and May 2022. The motivational factors included such five dimensions as workload, work content, colleague relationship, doctor-patient relationship, and their own development, and the healthcare factors included such three dimensions as salary, job recognition and social status. The questionnaire data and job satisfaction scores were analyzed descriptively, and the correlation between the overall job satisfaction of the online contracted nurses, while each dimension was analyzed by Pearson correlation analysis, and the influence of each dimension on job satisfaction was analyzed by stepwise regression analysis. Results:A total of 335 valid questionnaires were recovered. The mean score of job satisfaction of online contracted nurses was (2.26±0.38), with the highest score of (2.56±0.53) for salary satisfaction and the lowest score of (1.78±0.67) for job recognition, and each dimension was positively correlated with job satisfaction ( r=0.34-0.88, P<0.01). Regression analysis showed that workload ( B=0.07), salary ( B=0.11), job content ( B=0.23), social status ( B=0.12), and self-development ( B=0.15) were the main factors affecting their job satisfaction ( P<0.01). Conclusions:The job satisfaction of online contracted nurses was at a medium level, mainly influenced by workload, salary, job content, social status and their own development. It is recommended that hospitals implement multiple targeted measures to improve the job satisfaction of online contracted nurses and promote the healthy development of " Internet plus nursing services" .

ABSTRACT

In recent years, the rapid increase in cancer treatment costs in China had brought a huge economic burden to society, and it was urgent to standardize the rational application of anti-tumor drugs. In the context of the reform of group payment related to disease diagnosis, a tertiary first-class hospital focused on the needs of patients and guided by value-based healthcare, established a professional and normalized refined anti-tumor drug management system, setted up a multidisciplinary diagnosis and treatment team, and promoted " Internet plus pharmaceutical services" in December 2018.From 2019 to 2021, the proportion of hospital drugs were 30.8%, 30.1%, and 27.3%, respectively. The amount of money spent on anti-tumor drugs were 83.25 million yuan, 76.41 million yuan, and 62.48 million yuan, respectively, showing a decreasing trend year by year. The practice of refined management of anti-tumor drugs fully reflected the core concept of value based healthcare, achieving closed-loop management of the entire process of drugs, improving the level of rational drug use, reducing the economic burden on patients, and providing reference for improving the level of rational use of anti-tumor drugs in public hospitals.

ABSTRACT

In order to make the shared traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) pharmacy develop more efficiently and normatively at the grass-roots level, using the “shared TCM pharmacy” as the retrieval word, this paper uses the literature research method to retrieve the reports, documents and policies from CNKI, the websites of people’s governments at all levels, the official websites of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, people.com, China News Network, Xinhua News and other platforms before May 20, 2022, sort out the development mode and history of two “Internet plus” TCM pharmacies, namely “shared TCM pharmacies” and “smart TCM pharmacies”, and compare them with each other. Combined with the actual work of community hospitals and community service centers (stations), the necessity and advantages (such as reducing the costs of the intermediate links of drug circulation and standardizing the grass-roots drug use process) of the development of “shared TCM pharmacy” are obtained from the perspective of primary medical care. Combined with the current situation of the promotion and application of shared TCM pharmacy in county medical communities, it is concluded that the shared TCM pharmacy should be further constructed from four aspects: improving the work process of drug centralized procurement under the background of normalization, improving the compatibility and synchronization of the whole process dispensing information system module, unifying pharmaceutical services and personnel training, defining the authority of data query and clarifying the boundaries of patient privacy to further build a shared TCM pharmacy. Finally, it integrates information technology, summarizes the definition of shared TCM pharmacy and its future construction direction, and provides reference for the next development of shared TCM pharmacy at the grass-roots level.

ABSTRACT

Medical imaging technology course has the characteristics of strong professionalism, complicated content to understand, and quickly updated knowledge. In traditional teaching mode, it takes teachers a lot of time to prepare lessons, and the teaching tools are limited like only taking use of blackboard, model and wall maps, which not only makes teaching content boring but also hardly stimulates students' initiative. Teaching reform of medical imaging technology courses from the perspective of "Internet Plus-based teaching and diagnosis reform" involves teaching content, teaching concept, teaching mode, teaching evaluation and experiments, etc., in which computer-aided teaching, flipped classroom, micro-course and high-quality resource-sharing course are used to increase experimental content, reform experimental teaching methods, and create "real-situation" experimental environment as well as other teaching diagnosis and reform measures, aiming to explore a new teaching pattern that meets the development of students majoring in medical imaging technology and the demand for social talents.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To investigate the status quo and influencing factors of unsatisfied needs of patients after radical gastrectomy for gastric cancer through quantitative and qualitative mixed research methods, and to provide reference for the development of effective health management programs in the future. Methods:A total of 297 patients who were hospitalized in Tianjin Medical University Cancer Hospital from January to December 2021 after radical gastretomy were selected as subjects by convenient sampling method. The general data questionnaire and Short-Form Survivor Unmet Needs Survey (SF-SUNS) were used to investigate. Selected 12 patients with gastric cancer by objective sampling method for semi-structured in-depth interview and collate data by Colaizzi 7-step analysis method. Results:The total average score of 297 subjects who did not meet the requirements was (60.91 ± 16.00), which was in the middle level. The average score of each dimension from high to low was: continuous care unmet needs (2.37 ± 0.75) points, work economy unmet needs (2.22 ± 0.65) points, information unmet needs (2.20 ± 0.92) points, emotion unmet needs (1.72 ± 0.60) points. Educational background, main economic source of family and working state were the influencing factors of unmet demand ( t=5.32, -3.59, -3.28, all P<0.05). Qualitative research had extracted four themes: unmet needs for symptom network recognition and accurate symptom management, unmet needs for shared decision participation and disease perception trajectory, unmet needs for dignity maintenance and reconstruction of psychological stress mechanism, and unmet needs for "Internet plus" mobile medical continuous care. Conclusions:The problem of unmet needs of patients after radical gastritis is still prevalent and affected by a variety of factors. It is suggested that medical workers build an effective supportive care system based on the status quo of unmet needs of patients, promote the whole process of multidimensional health management services for patients with gastric cancer, and improve the quality of life.

The health crisis caused by COVID-19 generated the application of social distancing and confinement measures for a long time, undermining participation in community activism and promoting the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) for the control and prevention of the disease; however, there is a wide gap between those who have access to the internet and those who do not, and the spread of COVID-19 has only deepened this gap. A descriptive and correlational study was carried out in order to determine the relationship between the digital divide and ICTs for the control of the COVID-19 pandemic, in 119 users who attend a telecenter in the Peruvian Amazon. A questionnaire made up of 37 items related to the digital divide and ICTs, evaluated using a Likert scale, was applied. Likewise, an instrument with 15 items was applied to evaluate the search for information about COVID-19. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used for data analysis. Differences were found between what is known and what should be known about COVID-19, generating an information gap about the disease; In addition, a correlation between the digital divide and ICT was obtained. The implementation of digital inclusion programs, policies for digital access and connectivity, establishment of other telecenters and development of adequate infrastructure are required, which reduce the digital divide and promote the control and prevention of COVID-19(AU)
