砄bjective:To study the absorption of porous block ? tricalcium phosphate(? TCP) implanted in the defects of rabbit calvarium.Methods:Twenty four rabbits were randomly divided into four groups with six in each,a round piece of bone with the diameter of 8 mm was removed on left and right sides in the calvarium of each animal.? TCP samples were implanted in the left defects and hydroxyapatite(HA)in the right.Rabbits were sacrificed at 2,4,8,12 weeks after operation respectively,The implanted materials were quantitatively measured by "Point Counting".Results:Twelve weeks after operation,the amount of ? TCP and HA remained in the transplants were 34.54% and 49.28%,while the bone tissue comprised 24.43% and 19.67% of ? TCP and HA transplants respectively.Conclusion:Porous block ? TCP is more absorbable and more feasible for new bone tissue regeneration than HA.

Generally, sport players of boxing or football who contact roughly with other players use mouth guard during match or game to prevent the breaking of jow boneor bursting of soft oral cavity. Moreover, mouth-guard are used for the purpose to lighter the load to root of teeth and to improve the skill and power of sport's player.<BR>The purpose of this study was to examine the charactaristic of unfitted by H shape-mouth guard compared to U shape mouth guard.<BR>The following results were obtained.<BR>1. The H shape-mouth guard of this study could reduce the impact to 1/7 level.<BR>2. A relative decrease in ventilation level was shown when H shape mouth guard fitted.<BR>3. With reference to respiratory function, reduction of the amount of oxygen up-take was not observed at heart rate lower than 170 beats/min, and in this case a player feells subjective symptom of stiffing.

AIM:To optimize the technical parameters indica-daisy dropping pill(Flos chrysanthemi indici) through controlling the influencing factors. METHODS:To take weight variation of pills,comprehensive quality and disintegration time limited as index,the above factors were observed by orthogonal test. RESULTS:Good technological parameters of indica-daisy dropping pill were as follows PEG6000∶PEG400=54∶6 as matrix,dimethicone as refrigerant.Temperature of drug fluids of 70 ℃,internal and external diameter of dropper within 6.2 mm and 9.0 mm,proportion of drug and matrix(1∶3),30 dropping per minute.The weight variation of pills was small,type quality was good and disintegration time limited was short.The water absorbability was smaller than that of granules. CONCLUSION:The finished products are of good quality and appropriate for mass production.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the absorbability polyvinylidene chloride(PVC) infusion vessel to ciclosporin.METHODS:The concentration of ciclosporin was determined by HPLC after storing in the PVC infusion packages or glass bottle for different period of time and its change was investigated as well.RESULTS:The adsorption rate of PVC infusion vessel to ciclosporin increased time-dependently,with a peak value of 38.66% at 12 h,which was significant as compared with glass infusion bottle at the same time.CONCLUSION:The PVC infusion package has stronger absorbability to ciclosporin,thus its use should be avoided if possible.

The neutron activation analysis of a stable isotope (58Fe)was used successfully in the study of iron absorption from different diets in children suffering from iron deficient anemia. The method was correct and convenient, and uninjured to human body. The principle, procedure and the control of errors were also discussed. The iron absorbability of the balance diet,soy protein diet and soy protein diet plus vitamin-C were (group average?SD) 12.0? 3.6%, 10.7?4.7%, and 18,1?3.6% respectively. According to the results and the animal experiments which were reported in another paper, we agreed that soy protein unfavor or reduce the bioavailability of iron from diet, which was made by International Nutritional Anemia Consultative Group (INACG) and others, but it is still a disputing question. The data of iron absorbability from diets in children suffering from iron deficient anemia and the method of neutron activation analysis of a stable isotope (58Fe) have not be seen up to now in China. This paper will be valuable for studing, preventing and treating iron deficient anemia in our country.
