ABSTRACT
Objective To discuss effect of oral lmetacycline hydrochloride combined with ichthammol ointment to treat acne conglobata.Methods Patients in acute inflammatory phase of acne conglobata(65 cases)were divided into the treatment group(34 cases)and the control group(31 cases).The treatment group adopted oral lmetacycline hydrochloride combined with ichthammol ointment.The control group received oral lmetacycline hydrochloride combined with 5% benzoylperoxide gel for external use.The treatment effect was compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate was 88.2%and 64.5%,time cost for treatment was(18.32±4.72)days and(23.57±5.63)days in the treatment group and the control group,between which statistical difference existed(P<0.05).Conclusions Oral lmetacycline hydrochloride combined with ichthammol ointment to treat acute inflammatory phase of acne conglobata could shorten treatment course,reduce scar formation,increase curing rate with definite therapeutic effect and less adverse effect.It can be operated easily and worth being applied widely.
