ABSTRACT

Objective Based on the three years' peer review data of a project fund, the results of fund peer review were analyzed and evaluated,to provide references for further improvement of the peer review and management. Methods Based on the fund's peer review results of 2145 projects in three years, descriptive statistics,single-item identification index were adopted,as well as RJ normality test,t-test and other statistical methods,to analyze and assess the overall data of fund, project categories, individual scores, etc. Results The score distribution of the three year peer review project of the fund is almost normal distribution, and the overall consistency of peer review shows a better trend. The analysis shows that the peer review experts of the fund have better consistency in terms of project innovation, rationality and characteristics. While there were differences in the peer review of applicability. Conclusions The three year peer review data of the fund show that three years' evaluation results are reliable, reasonable, and the quality of evaluation is good, showing a better development trend in both project quality and expert consistency.

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the establishment of WeChat teaching platform and evaluate the effect of micro-lectures in obstetrics and gynecology teaching. Methods A total of 116 trainees (experi-mental group) of 2014 grade and 113 trainees of 2013 grade (control group) were enrolled in the study. The Students' ability of self-learning and collaborative innovation were measured with LASSI and CUCEI scales, and their academic performance was evaluated with using t test. Results The comparison of the four know-ledge modules showed that the differences in the results of the two knowledge modules, the ectopic pregnancy (P=0.00) and uterine fibroids (P=0.01) between the experimental group and the control group were signifi-cant. Besides, the comparison of students' literacy suggested that the differences in time management (P=0.01), selection of main points (P=0.04), innovation (P=0.00) and collaboration capability (P=0.03) between the experimental group and the control group were obviously significant. Conclusions Micro-lectures-assisted teaching can effectively improve students' academic performance, which has important practical value for improving students' self-learning ability, innovation and collaboration.

ABSTRACT

Objective: To analyze the main components in different parts of Rheum palmatum. Methods: The anthraquinones, soluble polysaccharides, cellulose, and mineral elements in the taproots, root heads, fibrous roots, root barks, petioles and leaves were detected by HPLC, UV, Weende, and ICP-AES. Results: The contents of aloe-emodin, rhein, emodin, chrysophanol, and physcion in taproots, root heads, fibrous roots, and root barks were 3.22-4.33, 1.33-2.32, 3.21-3.68, 3.22-3.76 mg/g, 0.77-1.36, 2.46-2.52, 1.16-1.46, 1.02-1.21 mg/g, 0.27-0.39, 0.28-0.34, 0.30-0.42, 0.31-0.67 mg/g, 2.85-3.70, 2.78-3.01, 4.02-4.81, 4.05-4.72 mg/g and 1.88-2.44, 1.82-2.01, 2.48-3.02, 3.61-4.46 mg/g, respectively. The contents of aloe-emodin, rhein, and emodin in leaves were 0.56-1.07, 0.45-0.69, 1.41-1.91 mg/g. The soluble polysaccharides in the taproots, petioles and leaves were 9.76%-10.42%, 5.76%-7.63%, and 3.50%-5.72%. The cellulose contents in petioles and leaves were 15.54% and 10.20%. Ca was the most abundant with 88.53 mg/g in leaves, followed by K with 32.42 mg/g, Mg with 12.93 mg/g, Al with 1.22 mg/g, and Fe with 1.17 mg/g. In the petioles, Ca with 80.60 mg/g and K with 28.73 mg/g were higher than those in roots with 21.08 and 14.09 mg/g. Na with 2.66 mg/g was also higher than that in roots with 0.26 mg/g and in leaves with 0.57 mg/g. Conclusion: The types and contents of anthraquinones in roots are higher than those in petioles and leaves, with the understanding of traditional medicinal parts. Emodin in leaves is five times as those in roots, petioles, and leaves, and also contains a certain amount of cellulose and soluble polysaccharide component, a wide variety of elements. From above analysis, the petioles and leaves could be deeper utilized.

ABSTRACT

Objective For an analysis and evaluation of the technical efficiency of tertiary hospitals in Tianjin. Methods Data Envelopment Analysis of different combinations of indicators and Spearman Rank Correlation Analysis were used for a study of the relative efficiency between 28 tertiary hospitals and the correlation between the indictors. Results The study showed that 12 hospitals reached DEA efficient, effective rate of 42.86%,and there is a correlation between the five sets of indicators. Conclusion Regulators of Tianjin hospitals should pay attention to efficiency calculations, make full use of medical resources, strengthen scientific management, and enhance the competitiveness of the hospital.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To analyze and evaluate the degassing effect of vacuum degassing apparatus through the determination of ox-ygen content in pure water, gas pressure and air volume, and compare with suction filtration, boiling and ultrasonic methods to choose the appropriate degassing method for dissolution medium and guide the daily inspection work. Methods: The water residual oxygen, gas pressure and air volume were determined using a single water quality on-line monitoring instrument and a Carbo QC Anton Pear in-strument. The degassing effect of the vacuum degassing apparatus was detected under the conditions of negative pressure and certain de-gassing time. The degassing effect was also compared with that of suction filter, boiling and ultrasonic methods. Results: Under the conditions of 0. 06 MPa negative pressure, 41℃ medium temperature and 30 min degassing time, the degassing effect of the vacuum degassing apparatus was obvious. The degassing effect of suction filter and boiling methods was similar to that of the vacuum degassing apparatus, while that of ultrasonic method wasn't obvious. Conclusion:The use of vacuum degassing apparatus is simple and efficient with obvious degassing effect, which is suitable for the degassing process of dissolution medium.

ABSTRACT

Objective To analyze and evaluate the application of total parenteral nutrition in our hospital, with an attempt to improve the quality of total parenteral nutrition and provide a reference for clinical use. Method A total of 1386 prescriptions of total parenteral nutrition in our hospital from January 2008 to October 2009 were analyzed and evaluated according to the distribution of the departments and other drug uses. Results All these 1386 total parenteral nutrition prescriptions were mainly made by the departments of gastrointestinal pediatrics, oncology, hepatobiliary gland surgery, and ICU. The average time of use was 7.74 days. More than half of the prescriptions had a liquid volume less than 1500 ml. The volumes of vitamins and trace elements were basically appropriate in most prescriptions. However, problems such as incorrect glucose and lipid energy, low amino acid concentrations, and high Ca2+ or Mg2+ concentrations were also noted. Conclusions The prescriptions of total parenteral nutrition is basically appropriate in our hospital, although there is still space for improvement. More efforts should be made to carry our education and training on nutrition support to promote the reasonal application of total parenteral nutrition.
