ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the usage of Shuxuening Injection in Chuzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine (hereinafter referred to as our hospital); To promote clinical rational usage of Shuxuening Injection. Methods A retrospective study was conducted to 297 cases of using Shuxuening Injection in our hospital from January 2016 to June 2016. Results In the 297 cases, 58.9% patients were over 60 years old, and indication coincidence rate of Shuxuening Injection was 52.2%. 91.2% single dose met the instructions and 6.7%solvent use met instructions. Shuxuening Injection in the joint medication also had irrational usage phenomenon. Conclusion There is irrational usage of Shuxuening Injection in our hospital, especially in indication and solvent.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To know the utilizatior of Shenfu injection(SFI)in our hospital,and provide reference for ratio-nal use of SFI. METHODS:In respective study,patients received SFI from the Hospital Information System(HIS)in surgery department in our hospital from Jan. 2013 to Dec. 2014 were analyzed statistically in aspects of general situation,indications, usage and dosage,course of treatment,drug combination,etc. And the incidence of ADR/ADE was monitored. RESULTS:The 1 247 surgery inpatients used SFI distributed in thyroid and galactophore department(634 cases),comprehensive minimal-ly invasive department (292 cases),gastrointestinal surgery department (250 cases),urology department (64 cases) and car-diothoracic surgery department(7 cases),including 466 male and 781 female,the ratio of male to female was 1∶1.68,aver-age age was 58.50 years;it mainly used in perioperative medication (78.11%) and treated for tumors (11.23%),treatment course concentrated on 2-7 d(71.45%),dosage mainly was 100 ml(70.01%);combination medication were mainly pantopra-zole sodium,Fructus bruceae injection,Xueshuantong for injection(lyophilized),etc. The nonstandard phenomenon was exist-ed in indications,dosage,solvent selection,medication frequency,drug combination,etc. There were no obvious ADR/ADE related to SFI. CONCLUSIONS:More attention must be paid to the irrational use of SFI in surgery clinic of our hospital,the safety of traditional Chinese medicine injection in clinical use should be correctly understood,achieve dialectical therapy and rational drug use.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE To analyze the application of antibacterials in liver transplanted patients of our hospital in order to improve the rational use of antibacterials in perioperative period of liver transplantation.METHODS According to the criteria of DDD and DUI recommended by WHO,a retrospective study of the application of antibacterials in 82 patients with liver transplantation who discharged hospital during from Jun 2003 to Jun 2005 was made.RESULTS Among the 82 patients,100.0% patients had received antibacterials and 48 patients received combined medication,in which 45.10% used two kinds and 13.41% used three kinds.The longest medication time was 49 days while the shortest was 10 days.Nineteen antibacterials′ DUI were all less than one except meropenem whose DUI was 1.03.CONCLUSIONS This study proved that patients with liver transplantation in our hospital received rational antibacterials.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE: To probe into status quo and tendency of medication in patients with leprosy. METHODS: 2 745 prescriptions collected from dispensary for western medicine during Aug. 2007~Jun. 2008 were analyzed statistically in respects of antibiotics and its combination, anti-bacterial drugs, antipyretic analgesic and anti-inflammatory drugs for top 3 diseases. RESULTS: The average cost of prescriptions was 12.88 yuan. Top 3 diseases in list of clinical diagnosis were as follows: leprosy ulcers, leprosy reactions and upper respiratory tract infection. 1 112 cases were treated with antibacterial drugs accounting for 44.13% in total cases; drug combination was applied in 150 cases accounting for 13.49% in antibiotics cases. CONCLUSION: Patients with leprosy are mainly treated with antipyretic analgesic, anti-inflammatory drugs, anti-bacterial drugs and glucocorticoid. Some inappropriate phenomena such as abuse of drug and irrational medication demand quality control of prescription.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To make clear the situation and trend of drugs used for outpatients in Xinhua hospital during the period 1995~2001.METHODS:Data of drugs used for adult outpatients in our hospital during the period 1995~2001 was analysed.RESULTS:During the period 1995~2001,the average annual rates of growth of the number of prescriptions and the sum of money of prescriptions were 7.96% and 16.22% respectively.The percentages of domestic drugs,joint venture drugs and imported drugs were 80.56%,15.65% and 3.79% and the corresponding percentages of sum of money were 41.43%,47.65% and 10.92% respectively.The order of sum of money was as follows:cardiovascular drugs,gastro-intestinal drugs,anti-infective agents and antidiabetics,and the sum of money accounted for 22.92%,16.15%,14.84% and 6.46% respectively.CONCLUSION:In order to reduce the cost of drugs for outpatients,use of domestic drugs should be advocated.
