ABSTRACT

One of the breaches of Lacan with the post Freudian psychoanalysts is given in relation to the times of the analytic practice, specifically in the session's duration. In those days, the analysts would work with a 50 minutes fixed sessions, while Lacan suggested a psychoanalysis own temporality, which was beyond the chronological timings; namely, the logical times that would establish the clinic times. Other discussions that nowadays are gaining momentum is, the analytic space, questions from, how should the doctor's office be? up to Is the analysis only possible at the doctor's office? These questions are each time more posed by those who intend to practice psychoanalysis. This article inserts in this discussion, and by means of the writing review. "The logical time and the assertion of advanced certainty", of 1945, pose us thinking what we would call logical space.

ABSTRACT

On "free speech" in the analytical space. The Greek notions of "free speech" (parrhêsia) and "free speaker" (parrhesiastes), brought to light by Michel Foucault in his study on the care and practices of the self in the Antiquity, are used to problematize the way on how the practice of listening and speaking can be materialized in the psychoanalytical space, as well as its effect. The practice of psychoanalysis will be a practice of freedom, depending on how the analyst uses it to act as "parrhesiastes" - his specific speech activity.
