ABSTRACT

Objective To evaluate the effects of continuous nursing on the therapy of type 2 diabetics retinopathy. Methods A total of 100 DR patients hospitalized in our hospital from June 2015 to January 2016 were enrolled, and they were randomly divided into 2 groups:50 in the intervention group, and the other 50 as controls. The control group received routine nursing, while the intervention group received continuous nursing on the basis of routine nursing. Two groups were both provided nursing satisfaction questionnaire and the Summary of Diabetes Self-Care Activitiesby a certain personnel. Relative evaluation indices were collected at the time when the patients were discharged and 1 year, 2years after that. The differences of nursing satisfaction, self-management ability, fasting blood glucose, blood glucose 2 hours after meal, visual acuity and readmission rate between two groups were compared with statistical methods. Results The fasting blood glucose, postprandial 2 hour blood glucoseafter one and two years were (5.71 ± 0.64), (9.42 ± 0.86), (5.89 ± 0.64) and (9.58 ± 0.80)mmol/L, respectively. The results ofthe control group were (6.81 ± 0.95), (11.32 ± 1.50), (7.24 ± 0.81) and (12.63 ± 2.17)mmol/L, respectively, and there were significant difference between 2 groups (t =-9.306--6.814, all P<0.05). The score of Summary of Diabetes Self-Care Activities score of the intervention group at the end of the follow-up period was 53.74 ± 7.82, while that in the control group was 42.02 ± 5.07, and the difference between the 2 groups was statistically significant (t = 8.883, P< 0.05).The rate of visual acuity, visual acuity after 1 and 2 years and nursing satisfaction were 2% (1/50), 6% (3/50) and 100% (50/50) in the intervention group, and those in the control group were 18% (9/50), 32% (16/50), 78% (39/50), with a significant difference between 2 groups (Z =-2.653,-3.297,-5.541, P<0.05). The readmission rate patients in the intervention group was 2%(1/50), while the control group was 28%(14/50), and there was significant difference between 2 groups (χ2=13.43, P<0.05). Conclusions When continuous nursing care was applied to type 2 diabetic retinopathy, the subjective initiative of patients and their family would be mobilized, and the patients′self-management ability would be improved, thus helped to control blood glucose andvisual acuity, and consequently promotes the prognosis while delays the progress of diabetic retinopathy, reduces the incidence of blinding due to DR, decreases the rate of readmission, reduces the economic burden of patients, improves patients′satisfaction.Continuous nursing care has great application value in medicine.

ABSTRACT

Objective To discuss the application experience of Da Vinci Surgical System ( DVSS)-assisted laparoscope in partial ne-phrectomy. Methods Nursing methods for the 170 patients to receive partial nephrectomy with laparoscope in the Urinary Surgery and the measures taken against the complications. Results The operations for the 170 patients were finished smoothly, with the average time of oper-ation being 130 min, the average warm ischemic time being less than 25 min, the average amount of bleeding being 100 mL, the average time of renal artery blocking being 36 min and the average intestinal recovery time after operation being 1. 9d;in addition, no conversion to open cholecystectomy occurred due to mechanical failure or other cause. After operation, the average hospital stay was 6d and there were no adverse reactions such as bleeding, leakage of urine, deep venous thrombosis and pulmonary embolism. Through clinical follow-up in 1 month, 3 months and 6 months, no significant change was found in renal function, no delayed renal hemorrhage and no acute renal failure. Conclusion In addition to common characteristics as traditional operation, the robot-assisted operation has its own characteristics. Prepara-tion for special surgical articles, effective communication with the patients, active cooperation and communication among the operation team before operation, cooperation during operation and care after operation, as well as mastery of the subsystems of the robot are the key to ensure a successful operation.

ABSTRACT

This paper explored influences of situational teaching competition on improvement of pathology teaching effect.Students were grouped to create situational teaching works under teacher's guidance and finally competition was carried out.Teachers were invited to do the judgment and evaluation on pathology teaching was made through teachers' feedback and students' questionnaire survey. Results showed that during the process of situational teaching centered on students, teaching forms were diversified, teacher evaluation was high and students' responses were active.Application of situational teaching competition made exchanging the roles of teachers and students and teaching in joy, which on the one hand stimulated students' enthusiasm, initiative and creativity and on the other hand improved teaching level of teachers.Satisfactory teaching effects were achieved after using this method.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To introduce how to use the automated drug dispensing machine to prepare drugs in single dose and to introduce our experience in the application of this machine. METHODS:The working principe, application context, and the functional advantage of the machine were introduced, and the problems encountered in the use of the machine was analyzed based on our experience, and the prospect of the machine was discussed. RESULTS: The machine enjoys the advantages of raising work efficiency, lowering dispensing error rate and bringing about convenience for patient to use, but it has its limitation in that it proposes higher requirement for software and hardware environment. CONCLUSION: The application of this automatic system will be more widespread with people’s increasing demand on medical care.
