ABSTRACT

Objective:To explore the application value of diagnosis related groups(DRG) technology in clinical application management of antibiotics for inpatients. Methods:Inpatients discharged from a tertiary general from April to June 2020 were selected as the study objects. DRG grouping data were obtained from the provincial DRG-based hospital quality management and performance evaluation platform, and antibiotics application data were extracted from the hospital information system of the hospital in question. Based on the DRG group, a descriptive statistical analysis was conducted on the overall situation of antibiotics application and the applications between departments and physicians in different time periods. Results:A total of 8 263 discharged patients were included, involving 491 groups of DRG, with 4 193 of whom treated with antibiotics and 417 groups of DRG involved. The antibiotics use density(AUD)was significantly different among different DRG groups, with the maximum being 290 DDDs/100 person days(EM18C group)and the minimum 0.21 DDDs/100 person days(FM15B group). Analysis of the NS06Z group, which had the largest number of cases from April to June, found that the utilization rate of antibiotics changed little with time. Analysis of the typical case group EM11A, found that the AUD and utilization rate of antibiotics were too high in some departments and physicians. Some departments and physicians also presented the problem of high rate of combined drug use. Conclusions:DRG can scientifically evaluate the clinical application of antibiotics in inpatients, identify the key points of clinical application management of antibiotics in inpatients, and contribute to fine management of clinical application of antibiotics in inpatients.

ABSTRACT

Objective To improve the application management efficiency of NSFC and provide reference for the administration of peer hospitals. Methods Using the theory of PDCA cycle manages application work of NSFC and using fishbone diagram to analyses the affecting factors of NSFC management.Countermeasures were developed and implemented based on such analysis. Results The administration work of NSFC is continuingly improved under the guidance of PDCA cycle theory. Conclusions From the long term development of NSFC application management, the method of PDCA cycle theory is an ideal model

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the lean management model for the application of National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC).Methods Under the framework of lean management,Peking University Third Hospital (PUTH) tapped potential through the earlier stage survey and policy guidance, focused on improving efficiency based on discipline and talent, curriculum service were also provided to bolster application quality. This paper reviewed the NSFC application situation of PUTH in 2014 2016 and compared with 2011-2013,summarized the management experience. Results All the indexes increased significantly during 2014-2016,also achieved a breakthrough in talent projects.Compared with 2011 2013,the application number of 2014-2016 increased by 34.8%,meanwhile,both the support number and amount of NSFC increased 44.2% and 111.6 % respectively. We also achieved 71.8% growth and added 5 experts in high end talent projects. Conclusions The lean management significantly improves the management efficiency, and we hope to make reference to other clinical hospitals in promoting basic research management.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To explore the effect of humanistic care in patients with hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. Methods:Totally 51 patients with hematopoietic stem cell transplantation were recruited from the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University, between September 2014 and July 2016,and were randomly divided into two groups.Patients in the intervention group (n =25) received humanistic care, while those in the control group (n =26) received routine nursing. The incidence of adverse psychological status and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results:The incidence rate of adverse psychological state in the intervention group (16%) was significantly lower than that in the control group (53%),while the nursing satisfaction in the interventiongroup (92%) was significantly higher than that in the control group (69%),P <0.05.Conclusion:Application of humanistic care in the patients with hematopoietic stem cell transplantation can significantly improve nursing satisfaction and reduce the incidence of adverse psychological state, which will improve the confidence of the patients and the quality of nursing satisfaction.Consequently,it will promote the relationship between the nurses and patients.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the effects of PDCA cycle management method on clinical application of Fat-soluble vita-min for injection (Ⅱ). METHODS:By retrospective analysis,500 discharge medical records of Fat-soluble vitamin for injection (Ⅱ)were collected from our hospital during Jul.-Aug. in 2015(before intervention),Sep.-Oct. in 2015(after first intervention cy-cle),Nov.-Dec. in 2015(after second intervention cycle),respectively. RESULTS:After 2 PDCA cycles, the proportion Fat-solu-ble vitamin injection (Ⅱ) use without indication decreased from 65.4% to 39.2%;the reasonable rate of drug dosage increased from 53.2% to 97.2%,and that of usage increased from 96.4% to 99.8%;the reasonable rate of medication course increased from 69.6% to 96.6%;the reasonable rate of the clinical application of Fat-soluble vitamin injection (Ⅱ) increased from 18.8% to 56.4%,with statistical significance (P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS:PDCA cycle can effectively promote the clinical reasonable of Fat-soluble vitamin for injection(Ⅱ).
