ABSTRACT

Objective To evaluate the application effect of telemedicine robot on the postoperative follow-up of liver transplantation recipients from donation after cardiac death (DCD). Methods A total of 100 recipients undergoing liver transplantation from DCD in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi 'an Jiaotong University from January 2014 to December 2017 were recruited in this investigation. According to differnt follow-up patterns, all recipients were divided into the research group (n=50, follow-up by telemedicine robot) and control group (n=50, follow-up by traditional telephone). The compliance (medication compliance, self-monitoring, life compliance and follow-up compliance), follow-up time and follow-up satisfaction at postoperative 3 months of all DCD liver transplantation recipients were analyzed and statistically compared between research group and control group. Results The scores of medication compliance, self-monitoring, life compliance, follow-up compliance and the total score of compliance in the research group were significantly higher than those in the control group (all P < 0.05). The each follow-up time of liver transplantation recipients in the research group was (9±4) min, significantly shorter than (13±4) min in the control group (t=-4.452, P < 0.001). The score of satisfaction during postoperative follow-up in the research group was 19.8±2.6, significantly higher than 16.2±3.1 in the control group (t=6.234, P < 0.001). Conclusions The application effect of telemedicine robot on the postoperative follow-up of liver transplantation recipients from DCD is satisfactory, deserves widespread application in clinical practice. It is expected to become an indispensable part of the postoperative follow-up of liver transplantation recipients from DCD.

ABSTRACT

Objective: To research a intelligent mobile APP information platform is used to carry out remote diagnosis and treatment services for the patients with diabetes so as to improve the medical experience and treatment compliance of the patients with diabetes. Methods: The patient's physiological information data that were obtained from home wearable medical devices were collected through the Bluetooth technique by using wireless mobile network. And the APP system was used to carry out remote online multi-channel communication between doctor and patient, and was applied to establish relevant health records. Results: The control rate of blood sugar, blood pressure, blood lipid and other indicators of patients with diabetics have been increased from 33% to 70%, and the filing rate of health records of patients also has been increased from 29% to 85%. Conclusion: The application of multi-channel multimedia interconnect platform and the integration of health data of patients with diabetes can ensure patients to complete treatment in least process, and it can provided convenient communication in real time for doctor and patients. And it also can greatly enhance the efficiency for the management of diabetes, improve satisfaction of patient, reduce the risk of hypoglycemia and the complications of diabetes.

ABSTRACT

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease, it is thus necessary for its patients to participate in its treatment and self-management. The emerging foreign and domestic methods for self-management of diabetes mellitus pa-tients were detected on different Websites and suggestions were proposed for its treatment and self-management in order to improve the quality of life in diabetes mellitus patients.

ABSTRACT

Health promotion center is an area that hospitals promote and operate with priority for the early detection and prevention of disease. The quality of medical service needs to be improved by providing a quick and customized service to the patients who use the center. In the past, the examiners or hall managers took charge of the guidance and management of the patients in order, and the patients suffered from the disorder and discomfort while they are called and identified by name. In this paper, we realized automated health promotion system using PDA operation system to provide services comfortable for both patients and examiners. A comfortable and personalized system has been developed, where patients are provided with personalized guidance for the examination labs instead of being called by name and history of medical examination through the mobile terminal,

ABSTRACT

When we deal with maxillary and mandibular anterior dental arches showing problems in occlusal relation and aesthetics caused by malformations of teeth and congenital missing, et al during the orthodontic treatment, we could not often decide the functional occlusion by only relying on the orthodontic treatment. If orthodontists can predict what kinds of treatments are needed for functional occlusion in maxillary and mandibular anterior dental arches, they can not only effectively treat patients but also facilitate the cooperation with other field during the treatment. Our previous research showed the correlation among intercanine width, segment depth and arch perimeter by using the Korean normal occlusion model. At this time, we produced the computer application program by taking advantage of this correlation. And then, we applied this program to setting up the treatment plans for 2 patients with the damaged maxillary and mandibular dentures. With the help of this program, we could not only easily acquire the information about the change of variables required by treatment plans but also understand the change of the anterior dental occlusion corresponding to the change of each variables such as the intercanine width, segment depth and arch perimeter. Later, if we can have the information about the relationship between the change of the angle of incisors depending on facial types and arch forms and, in addition, can acquire the appropriate intercanine width, we can have the ability to produce the 3 dimensional occlusogram for the anterior dental arch forms.

ABSTRACT

User package program run on PC was developed for clinical spirometric test, which enabled to perform popular FVC, SVC, and MVV test items in a very convenient manner. In addition, a program module for research was implemented to study breathing pattern of a patient. The program written in C language was designed to run on Windows OS, and consisted of patient information management, test procedure control, results print out, and accumulation of parameter values in a customized data base which made possible future clinical research and quality assurance. When engaged with the previously developed respiratory air flow measurement unit, the system resulted in an accurate enough performance in that FVC data showed a high correlation coefficient of higher than 0.98 with an imported system. The technician tried the present system under clinical environment and judged the convenient utility to be satisfactory. Therefore, industrialization effort is being currently made and expected to be successful.
