Sporadic Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease / 中华神经科杂志

Sporadic Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease is a rare condition with a rapid disease course and a mortality rate of 100%. In clinical practice, it is difficult to diagnose, even if consistent conventional laboratory methodologies are used. This article will give a summary on the epidemiology, pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, auxiliary examination, diagnosis and differential diagnosis, management, and prognosis of sporadic Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease.

Clinical different diagnosis value in complex heart disease between 320-slice computerized tomography and heart echocardiography / 国际外科学杂志

Objective To investigate clinical diagnosis value in complex heart disease of 320-slice computerized tomography.Methods Twenty-seven patients' imaging data of 320-slice computerized tomography and transthoracic heart echocardiography were taken retrospective analysis,all patients were diagnosed with complex heart disease on cardiothoracic surgery.And the authors compared the diagnostic accuracy of imaging diagnosis and operation diagnosis.Results The diagnostic of 27 patients with 89 cardiac anomalies with 320-slice computerized tomography and were diagnosed 83 cardiac anomalies with transthoracic heart echocardiography.However,92 cardiac anomalies were found on cardiothoracic surgery.The diagnostic accuracy of 27 patients had a statistical difference between 320-slice computerized tomography and transthoracic heart echocardiography with complex heart deformity disease (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions Compared with transthoracic heart echocardiography,320-slice computerized tomography improved the diagnosis accuracy of the complex heart deformity disease.

Progress of auxiliary examinations in the diagnosis and treatment of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy / 国际儿科学杂志

Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy is regarded as an inherited cardiac disorder caused by autosomal dominant mutations.It has the remarkable heterogeneity of hereditary capacity,clinical phenotype,clinical course and prognosis,thus the diagnosis and treatment of this disease is challenging.Assistant examinations,such as Doppler tissue imaging,quantitative tissue velocity imaging,tissue strain imaging,cardiac magnetic resonance and late gadolinium enhancement,are important to early diagnose,guide management and judge prognosis for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.This paper reviews the progresses of assistant examinations in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.

Posterior scleritis being an underdiagnosed or misdiagnosed treatable eye disease / 中华实验眼科杂志

Posterior scleritis,an inflammatory disease of the posterior sclera,is most commonly seen in middle-aged women and often associated with systemic immunological diseases.It presents with a variety of nonspecific signs and symptoms,and its clinical feature may be confused with ocular tumors,orbital inflammation,and retinochoroidopathy.Therefore,some auxiliary examinations are necessary for the diagnosis of posterior scleritis.With early proper diagnosis and treatment,severe complications of posterior scleritis can be avoided or lessened.In the paper,some advancement in the study of etiology,incidence,signs,symptoms,auxiliary examination,differential diagnosis and treatment of posterior scleritis were reviewed.
