ABSTRACT
Objective To conduct the metrological analysis on 66 rehabilitation medical journals included by SCI-E and Chinese author's papers published in recent ten years to provide the advices for contribution.Methods The bibliometric method and word frequency statistical method were adopted to analyze 10 indicators such as publishing country.Results Main publishing countries were United States,England,Germany and Netherlands,the main current language was English.The main publication cycles were bimonthly and quarterly.There were 2 journals with impact factor greater than 4.The theme of the article involved 16 subjects such as rehabilitation medicine,51.52 ％ of journal reviewing length were within 3 months,93.94 ％ of journal submission was easier.Main types of literature published in recent 10 years were article,review,editorial and correction/retraction.60 journals published papers from China.Conclusion It is suggested that the authors should master the method for obtaining 10 source indexes such as publishing country and contribute by selecting the rehabilitation medical journals or cross disciplinary journals according to the content and quality of the paper as the target journals.

Objective To analyze the distribution of multiple myeloma (MM) literature in Chinese periodicals and to find out the core periodicals about MM.Methods Periodical literature that involved with MM in the article titles from January 2008 to December 2014 on the Wanfang medical database was collected and searched.Bibliometric method was used to analyze journal date and journal distribution.Results 456categories of periodicals had published literature about MM.The number of articles about MM published in the top 10 journals was more than 30,accounting for 27.00 ％ of all published MM literature,which were highly effective core journals.The number of articles about MM published in the top 3 journals was more than 100,accounting for 15.59 ％ of all published MM literature.The number in Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma had reached 187,accounting for 6.43 ％ of the total.Conclusions The core journals about MM provide the key approach to help MM medical personnel to select useful information efficiently.Furthermore,the core journals are not only the significant gist for authors who plan to contribute their articles to relevant MM periodicals,but also the necessary reference tools for medicine workers who engage in basic and clinical research and teaching.

Objective To analyze the dermatology journals indexed by SCI‐E and papers published in recent 5 years ,to pro‐vide advices on periodical selection and contribution .Methods We mainly adopted the bibliometrics methods and word frequency a‐nalysis method to analyze 10 targets in 62 SCI‐E dermatology journals .Results Main publishing nationality were United States , England ,Denmark and Germany ,publishing language was English ,main publishing cycle period was bimonthly journals ,the highest impact factor was 6 .372 .The theme of published content was relatively concentrated ,reviewers′duration was fast and reasonable , 80 .7% submission of the journal was easy .Main type of literature published in recent 5 years is article ,review ,editorial and letter . 58 SCI‐E dermatology journals accept articles from China .Conclusion We suggest that the authors should firstly check the name of dermatology and cross‐disciplinary journals indexed by SCI‐E ,and evaluate the theme of published content ,rate of publishing article contributed from China ,difficulty degree for contribution ,reviewers′duration ,publishing cycle and impact factor when contribution articles .
ABSTRACT
The present article analyzes the relationship between characteristics of the journal Neotropical Ichthyology and its impact factor (IF) between 2006 and 2011 using bibliometric descriptive quantitative methods. To perform this analysis, two samples of journals included in Journal Citation Reports (JCR) were studied. One sample was composed of journals classified within the subject of zoology, and the other contained journals from different areas published in Brazil. The instrument used for data collection was a database created in Microsoft Excel 2007 and the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 18. The results show that despite its short history, Neotropical Ichthyology has exhibited a distinctive impact, as manifested in a significant progression in the IF of this journal in the field of zoology during the investigated period.
Este trabalho analisa as características do periódico Neotropical Ichthyology e de seu Fator de Impacto no período entre 2006 e 2011, utilizando métodos quantitativos descritivos do tipo bibliométrico. Duas amostras de periódicos indexados no JCR foram estudadas para a realização das análises: uma constituída pelos periódicos categorizados como sendo da área de Zoologia e a outra formada por títulos de diferentes áreas publicados no Brasil. O instrumento de coleta de dados foi um banco de dados criado no programa Excel versão 2007 e no SPSS versão 18. Os resultados encontrados nas análises mostram que o Neotropical Ichthyology é um periódico que, apesar de sua história recente de publicação vem apresentando uma evolução de impacto distintiva. Esse aspecto é demonstrado por mudanças significativas na classificação por IF na área de Zoologia no período analisado.

Based on the literatures published from January 1994 to December 2008 on chronic respiratory diseases treated by the therapy of “Dongbing-Xiazhi” (which means treating diseases occurred in winter but treated in summer),the time,region,specific therapies,herbs,and acupoints of these literature were reviewed end analyzed by bibliometric methods to explore its distribution and trends.The research showed that the therapy was effective and widely used in recurrent chronic respiratory diseases.It also demonstrated that such studies as focusing on the scientific design and the mechanism were needed.
