ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the status of emotional-social loneliness including emotional isolation, social isolation, emotional and social loneliness in patients with acute cerebral infraction, and to analyze the related factors. Methods A total of 122 patients with acute cerebral infraction admitted to the neurology department of 5 third-grade class-A hospitals from Jan.2017 to Oct.2017 were enrolled.Data was collected by self-reported questionnaires including patients' general data and the emotional-social loneliness questionnaire data. Results Among 122 patients with acute cerebral infraction, emotional isolation, social isolation, emotional loneliness and social loneliness were found in 48 cases(39.3%),60 cases(49.2%),40 cases(32.8%)and 36 cases(29.5%),respectively.The total average score for emotional isolation, social isolation, emotional loneliness and social loneliness were 8.3 ± 5.2,8.6 ± 5.1,7.5 ± 6.1,and 7.4 ± 5.5,respectively.The scores for emotional-social loneliness were associated with education level, monthly family income, occupations and the emotion state before disease, and were not associated with gender, marriage status and stroke history. Conclusions The prevalence of emotional-social loneliness is high in patients with acute cerebral infraction.Especially careful attention should be paid to patients with higher education level and retired with monthly family income ≥5 000 RMB.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To explore changes of electrocardiogram (ECG)and cardiac markers, and its relationship with prognosis in aged patients with acute cerebral infarction. Methods:The data of 356 aged patients with acute cerebral infarction (acute cerebral infarction group),who hospitalized in our hospital from May 2007 to May 2012,and 258 non-cerebral infarction patients (normal control group)were retrospectively analyzed.Changes of ECG and cardiac markers were compared between two groups, and patients with cerebral infarction received a six-month follow-up. Results:Compared with normal control group, there were significant rise in percentage of abnormal ECG (22.9%vs.73.3%,χ2=150.53,P=0.00),levels of cardiac troponin I [cTnI,(0.02±0.003)μg/L vs.(0.07±0.002)μg/L],creatinine kinase isoenzyme [(9.1±5.6)U/L vs.(24.2±4.1)U/L]and creatinine kinase [(98±9.8)U/L vs.(202.7±10.2)U/L]in acute cerebral infarction group,P75 years:37.0% vs.83.8%,χ2=80.54,P=0.00);After six-month follow up,compared with normal group, there was significant increase in mortality rate (19.5% vs.86.8%,χ2=95.09,P=0.00)in acute cerebral infarction group. Conclusion:Incidence rate of abnormal ECG and cardiac marker level are higher in aged patients with acute cerebral infarction. It possesses important significance for judging patient′s condition, guiding treatment and evaluating prognosis.

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the risk factors of progressive cerebral infraction. Methods 112 cases with progressive cerebral infarction and 112 cases of acute cerebral infarction were selected.Patients were observed and recorded blood pressure, temperature,WBC,cholesterol,GLU and fibrinogen. Results The differences between blood pressure, temperature,WBC,cholesterol,GLU,fibrinogen and artery stenosis were statistically significant. Conclusion Infections, systolic blood pressure decreased, hyperglycemia, hyperlipidemia, and large artery stenosis were related to progressive cerebral infarction.

ABSTRACT

Objective To study the changes of serum CORT,SOD and LPO in large-acreage cerebral insarction(LCI) and hyperthermia patients, and observe the effect of head hypothermia on them. Methods All cases of LCI were divided into head hypothermia treatment group(group A,n=49),warm water bath and glacial saline enema treatment group(group B,n=43),and health group(control group, group C,n=30).With the methods of radioimmunoassay, hydroxylamine oxidation and thirddialdehyde, the serum CORT,SOD and LPO level in the two groups were measured on the 2nd day after hospitalization and on the 2nd day,the 3rd day and the 4th day after hyperthermia. In addition, the life quality scores of the two groups were compared. Results The serum CORT,LPO of group A and group B were higher on the 2nd day after hospitaiization than the group C(P0.05),while the SOD were lower(P

ABSTRACT

Objectives To study a special pattern of electroencephalogram (EEG),regional attenuation without Delta in massive cerebral ischemic infraction and evaluate its clinical value. Methods All the 47 cases diagnosed as massive cerebral infraction were continuously observed and evaluated in the period of 2004 to 2006 for EEG,short-latency somatosensory evoked potential (SLSEP).Glasgow coma scale (GCS) and the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) were also rated.EEG monitoring was performed every 1 to 3 day,but at least one time for patient with deteriorated condition. The outcome was evaluated with Glasgow outcome scale (GOS).Results 47 cases were performed 70 times of EEG all together, among whom 32 cases (68.1%) showed RAWOD in EEG.The positive rate of RAWOD was 76.9% within 24 hours of onset, but it was 28.6% in CT in the same time. The GCS and NIHSS of two groups had significant differences (P
