ABSTRACT

In order to complete the information statistics and submission work of designated hospitals with high quality, a hospital uses the agile business intelligence system to carry out information construction, and realize the statistics, analysis and auxiliary management decision-making of COVID-19 patients′ admission data. Based on the low-load and full-volume data capture mechanism, relevant basic data in the background of the hospital information system was extracted, and the admission information visualization and early warning analysis system was built by establishing data relations, data modeling and other methods. The hospital completed 634 batches of data statistics and reporting tasks of 2 943 patients in a timely and efficient manner, and assisted clinical diagnosis and treatment improvement and hospital leadership decision-making by using data analysis, early warning feedback and other functions.

Introducción: crear una ventaja competitiva sostenida exige de las organizaciones un enfoque y una actitud centrada en el aprendizaje tecnológico, en la innovación y en la implantación de la inteligencia empresarial. El arte de integrar estos aspectos garantizará la satisfacción de los clientes y el alto desempeño de los decisores. La práctica internacional en materia de inteligencia empresarial reconoce la necesidad de realizar estudios de vigilancia tecnológica acerca de la competencia: proveedores y clientes y para la actualización de las carteras de negocios y de productos. Objetivo: establecer un proceso de recopilación de la información externa en un Sistema de Inteligencia Empresarial integrado para la Industria del Diagnóstico In Vitro. Métodos: se realizaron búsquedas de información, en la Oficina Cubana de Propiedad Industrial, sobre el estado del arte en base de datos del Diagnóstico In Vitro, se utilizaron herramientas de investigación de mercado y análisis de tendencia para evaluar y estratificar la información recopilada de las bases de datos. Resultados: se confeccionó un procedimiento con fundamento científico, que brinda la posibilidad de que todos los actores se involucren en la toma de decisión. Fue aplicado en la Industria del Diagnóstico, lo que permitió conocer como se mueve este mundo y cuál es la línea de diagnosticadores que debe ser potenciada en el país para garantizar un servicio de excelencia en los laboratorios clínicos. Conclusiones: se cuenta con una herramienta de trabajo que permite, de forma inteligente, aplicar las acciones adecuadas en relación al escenario que se proyecte(AU)


Introduction: creating sustained competitive edge demands that the organizations have an approach and an attitude centered on technological learning, innovation and business intelligence implementation. The art of integrating these aspects will assure the satisfaction of clients and the great performance of decision-makers. The international practice in the field of business intelligence admits the need of carrying out technological surveillance studies on competition: suppliers and clients and for updating of business and product portfolio. Objective: to establish a process of external information gathering in an integrated business intelligence system for the in vitro diagnosis industry. Methods: information searches on the state of the art of in vitro diagnosis databases were made at the Cuban Office of Industrial Property; market research tools and trend analysis were used to evaluate and stratify the collection information from databases, Results: a scientifically founded procedure was created to give all the actors the possibility of being involved in the decision-making. It was applied in the diagnosis industry, which allowed knowing how this world is moving on and what the line of diagnostic devices should be potentiated nation-wide in order to guarantee an excellence service in the clinical laboratories. Conclusions: a working tool is available, which allows in an intelligent way to apply due actions in the depending on the setting(AU)

ABSTRACT

Command of the JCI standards and lessons learnt from practice and experience in JCI accreditation preparation,can help identify the gap between the hospitals and JCI standards.These standards can also guide the clinical pathway system,pharmacy intravenous admixture services system and medical business intelligence system.The information system built under such guidance not only makes an effective solution to existing problems,but also proves innovative.All these pave the way for successful JCI accreditation.
