ABSTRACT

Acupoint-symptom relationship in CHENG Dan-an's Note About Treatise on Cold-Attack was analyzed based on complex network, acupoint names and indications were extracted from the book, which provided ideas and methods for promoting the modernization of acupuncture and moxibustion by using complex network technology. A total of 112 acupoints in 201 acupuncture prescriptions were included, and the total frequency of acupoints was 880 times, forming 42 034 acupoint pairs. In terms of network indexes, compared with the complex network of comprehensive acupuncture books, such as Meridian and Acupoint Science, Zhenjiu Dacheng, Acupuncture A and B Meridians formed based on the same mathematical method, the complex network model for CHENG Dan-an's Note About Treatise on Cold-Attack shows more typical small world effect, which is characterized by higher network density (6.762) and shorter average path length (1.064). This phenomenon may be related to the tongue and pulse which added the link between acupoints. For the node indexes, the analysis of topological indexes such as Page Rank shows that acupoints represented by Dazhui (GV 14) has higher compatibility value in the treatment of exogenous diseases, which further demonstrates the clinical value of eigenvector centrality in guiding intelligent compatibility of points.

ABSTRACT

is the famous acupuncture scholar in modern times and he emphasizes the importance of moxibustion in the diagnosis and treatment of stroke. According to the different stages and types of stroke, the full-period moxibustion treatment is dominant, i.e. the moxibustion therapy for pacifying is used for stroke prevention, the moxibustion therapy for rescuing is for the emergency and the moxibustion therapy for warming and promoting meridian circulation is for the rehabilitation. Moxibustion is applicable in the full-period treatment of stroke. The corresponding treatment regimen and manipulation should be selected in terms of the individual stage and type of stroke.

ABSTRACT

-an experience was summarized regarding the rules on the combination of acupuncture and herbal medicine for diseases. Through collecting the materials on the treatment for diseases with TCM by -an, the acupoint prescriptions in medical cases were extracted. Using Excel 2010 software, the prescription database was set up. SPSS 23.0 software and Clementine 12.0 software were adopted for the frequency analysis, association rule analysis and cluster analysis. The top 3 high-frequency used acupoints are Zusanli (ST 36), Hegu (LI 4) and Jianshi (PC 5). The top 4 high-frequency used herbs are liquorice, cassia twig, Chinese-date and fresh ginger. The cluster analysis showed that there are 5 combinations with the major acupoints and herbal medicine. The combinations of and the acupoint prescriptions based on the syndrome differentiation as well as and the related acupoint prescriptions play the significant role in the treatment of digestive disorders. The analysis on the rules on the combination of acupuncture and herbal medicine for diseases treated by -an provides the approaches to the combination of acupuncture and herbal medicine for the clinical treatment of diseases, aiming at the mutual improvement of the clinical therapeutic effects.

ABSTRACT

A lot of Chinese old medical books and good editions lost in China have been stored in Japan, and been preserved in the present age. Advanced classic studies had been done based on them until the end ofEdo era. The research and the education method of acupuncture moxibustion have been systematized by introducing the modern medicine since theMeiji era. On the other hand, an extinction policy for the acupuncture moxibustion therapy was carried out in last part ofQing dynasty, and the Chinese acupuncture moxibustion was almost destroyed in early period of Republic of China. The Republic of China government was going to abolish Chinese medicine. However, Chinese traditional doctors did the opposition movement by quoting the Japanese results of research, and the Chinese medicine was continued to exist. The acupuncture moxibustion medicine and its education method which Cheng Dan-an introduced from Japan became the foundation that the Chinese acupuncture moxibustion studies revived after new China. New Chinese medicine formed by such a setting is brought to Japan again now. The past history ranges in the future history.
