Objective To observe the effect of Danhong Injection(DI)on the thyroid hormone level in patients with angina due to coronary heart disease(CHD).Methods Sixty CHD angina patients were equally randomized into the treatment group and the control group.The two groups received routine western medicine such as aspirin,angiotensin convert enzyme inhibitor(ACEI),statins,beta-blockers and nitrate esters,and the treatment group was additionally given intravenous drip transfusion of DI 20 mL,qd.Twenty days constituted one treatment course.After treatment,the therapeutic effect was evaluated and the changes of serum thyroid hormone level were observed.Results In the control group,13 patients were markedly effective,9 effective,8 ineffective,and the total effective rate was 73.3%;in the treatment group,19 patients were markedly effective,6 effective,5 ineffective,and the total effective rate was 83.3%;the difference between the two groups was significant(P

Objective To observe the effect of Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction(XZD) for the intervention of myocardial fibrosis of coronary heart disease(CHD) patients with blood stasis syndrome,and to explore its mechanism.Methods Sixty CHD patients with blood stasis syndrome were equally randomized into XZD group and placebo group.Both of the two groups were given western basic medicine.Meanwhile,XZD group received oral use of XZD and the placebo group received oral use of decoction of Fructus Hordei Germinatus,Fructus Setariae Germinatus and Radix Glycyrrhizae additionally.Changes of serum precollagen Ⅲ(PCⅢ),laminin(LN),hyaluronic acid(HA),endothelin(ET) and nitric oxide(NO) were observed before and after treatment.Results Serum levels of PCⅢ,LN,HA and ET were decreased,and NO was increased in the two groups after treatment(P

[Objective] To observe the preventive effect and mechanism of heat-clearing and toxicity-removing therapy for the treatment of acute coronary syndrome (ACS), and to explore the relationship of ACS with inflammation. [Methods] Fifty five ACS patients were randomized into 2 groups:41 patients in group A were treated with Sanhuang Tablets (mainly composed of Radix et Rhizoma Rhei, Radix Scutellariae and Rhizoma Coptidis) p.o., 4 tablets one time, twice a day, and a routine treatment for anticoagulation, anti-platelet aggregation and anti-myocardial ischemia; 14 patients in group B were given routine treatment for anticoagulation, anti-platelet aggregation and anti-myocardial ischemia. The treatment course lasted 2 weeks. After treatment, improvement in symptoms such as chest pain, chest distension, short breath, palpitation, fever, spontaneous sweating, insomnia, lassitude, aversion to cold and cold limbs was compared between group A and group B by scoring method. Meanwhile, inflammatory indicators in the two groups were also observed before and after treatment. To explore the effects of Quyu Xiaoban Capsule (QXC) on blood lipid level and platelet activity in coronary heart disease (CHD).A randomized single blinded trial was adopted in 62 cases of CHD. Thirty one cases (control group) were treated with routine western medicine and the rest (QXC group) with QXC added. Serum levels of total cholesterols (TC), triglycerides (TG), high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL C) and platelet-activating ? granule membrane protein (GMP 140) were detected before and after treatment.After ten weeks of treatment, GMP 140, TC and TG levels were decreased to various degrees in QXC group, the differences being significant as compared with those in control group and those in QXC group before treatment (P0 05).[Conclusion]QXC can decrease the blood lipid level and improve platelet activity and has a certain effect in preventing and treating CHD.
