ABSTRACT

Objective@#To observe the curative effect of compound carraghenates cream(Titanoreine) combined with vitamin B6 in the treatment of hand-foot syndrome caused by capecitabine(Xeloda).@*Methods@#From December 2015 to December 2017, 97 cases of middle and advanced colorectal cancer in the First People's Hospital of Yongkang were selected. All patients were treated by chemotherapy regimens of capecitabine as priority after operation, but later hand-foot syndrome appeared and they were randomly divided into treatment group (48 cases) and control group (49 cases) according to the digital table. In control group, only vitamin B6 30 mg was taken orally, three times daily; while in treatment group, vitamin B6(30 mg) combined with compound carraghenate cream (1g) were taken orally, three times daily after hand-foot syndrome occurred. The improvement, total efficiency, pain score during the treatment process (the first, fifth, ninth day after treatment), adverse reactions were observed before and after treatment in two groups.@*Results@#After treatment, the hand-foot syndrome in the treatment group and the control group was improved, the difference was statistically significant (treatment group: Z=6.477, P=0.000; control group: Z=4.700, P=0.000). The total effective rate of the treatment group was 87.5%(42/48), which was significantly higher than 65.3%(32/49) of the control group (χ2=6.603, P=0.010). The pain score on the ist day after treatment had no statistically significant differences between the two group[treatment group: (2.88±1.82)points, control group: (3.14±1.74)points, t=0.741, P=0.461] The pain scores on 5th and 9th day after treatment in the treatment group were (2.29±1.52)points, (1.23±1.80)points, respectively, which were lower than those in the control group [(2.94±1.38)points, (2.14±1.90)points](t=2.200, 2.430, P=0.030, 0.017). There were no statistically significant differences between the two groups in general conditions and the incidence of adverse reactions after drugs uses(all P<0.05).@*Conclusion@#Compound carraghenate cream combined with vitamin B6 has significant effect in the treatment of hand-foot syndrome caused by capecitabine, which can improve hand-foot syndrome better and help tumor patients to finish the chemotherapy successfully.

ABSTRACT

Objective To observe the clinical effects of compound carraghenates cream on edema and pain after mixed hemorrhoid surgery. Methods 180 cases of patients with mixed hemorrhoids divided into the observation group and the control group, 90 cases in each group according to the random number table method. The control group was treated with Vaseline oil gauze to cover wounds after operation, and the observation group was treated with compound carraghenates cream after operation. The clinical efficacy, VAS pain score , the edema symptom scores and the pain relief time, edema symptom relief time, the wound healing time ,untoward effect were compared and observed after treatment between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group (95.56% vs 85.56%) (P<0.05). The VAS pain scores of the observation group on the 1st day, 3rd day and 7th day after treatment were significantly lower than those of the control group (P<0.05), and the edema symptom scores on the 3rd day and 7th day after treatment were significantly lower than those of the control group (P<0.05). The time for pain relief, the time for edema relief and the wound healing time in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Compound carraghenates cream can effectively relieve edema and pain after mixed hemorrhoid surgery, and it also can shorten the course of disease and promote wound healing with safety.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of compound carraghenates suppositories in the treatment of wounds after anal fissure operation. Methods:Eighty-eight cases of patients with anal fistula post-operation wounds were diagnosed from June 2011 to June 2014 and randomly divided into the observation group (n=44) and the control group (n=44). The control group was treated with the conventional treatment and the observation group was treated with external compound carraghenates suppositories additionally. The efficacy, average healing time, growing time of granulation tissue and removal time of necrotic tissue, pain disappear-ance time and wound edema disappearance time after the operation and the area of wound surface in the two groups were observed and compared. Results:After the 14-day treatment, the time of wound healing, granulation growth and cure in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group (P<0. 05). In the observation group, the total effective rate (93. 18%) was higher than that in the control group (77. 27%, P<0. 05). After the 7-day and 14-day treatment, the pain score and wound edema score in the observa-tion group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0. 05), and the wound area was significantly smaller than that in the control group (P<0. 05). Conclusion:The clinical efficacy of external compound carraghenates suppositories in the treatment of wounds after anal fissure operation is significant, safe and reliable.
