ABSTRACT
Este artigo apresenta uma revisão de literatura sobre a relação corpo, dança e pessoa com deficiência. Analisando diversos estudos dos últimos dez anos, ressalta a predominância de uma racionalidade cartesiana onde o corpo considerado não normal é visto como portador de limitações instransponíveis. Do mesmo modo, a dança é considerada veículo/instrumento de ação pedagógica que pode ser utilizado para recreação e/ou reabilitação, tendo como referência o corpo dito "normal". Finalmente, aponta para questões socioculturais importantes que interferem na possibilidade de mudança deste referencial, tendo como exemplo a nomenclatura diversa e, por vezes, contraditória sobre o tema.
This article presents a literature review on the relationship between body, dance and disabled people. Analyzing several studies in the last tem years, it outlines the predominant presence of Cartesian rationality where the body considered not normal is seen as having insurmountable limitations. At the same time, dance is considered as a vehicle / tool for educational action that can be used for recreation and / or rehabilitation, with reference to the so-called normal body. Finally, it points to important social issues that interfere with the possibility to change this framework, taking the diverse and sometimes contradictory nomenclature as an example of this subject.
