ABSTRACT

Objective:To compare the differences of chemical components between single decoction and mixed decoction with different compatibility ratio of Inulae Flos- Haematitum medicinal pair. Methods:UPLC method was used to determine the contents of 5-caffeoylquinic acid, chlorogenic acid, 4-dicaffeoylquinic acid, caffeic acid, isoquercitrin, isochlorogenic acid B, 1,5- dicaffeoyl quinic acid, isochlorogenic acid C and the fingerprints of the single decoctions and mixed decoctions of Inulae Flos- Haematitum medicinal pair in four groups of proportions. The "peak area/sample weight" value of each common peak in the fingerprints was calculated, and the SPSS 26.0 was used for independent-sample t-test analysis. Results:There are significant differences in the "peak area/weight" values of peak 1, peak 2, peak 4, peak 6 , peak 9, peak 10, peak 12, peak 13, peak 15 between mixed decoction and single decoction of Inulae Flos - Haematitum medicinal pair with different compatibility ratios ( P<0.05), with statistical significance; when the compatibility ratio of Inulae Flos- Haematitum medicinal pair was 3:1, the difference of fingerprints and index components content between single decoction and combined decoction was the largest. Except for peak 7 and peak 14, the difference of "peak area/sample weight" value of other characteristic peaks was statistically significant ( P<0.05), and the content difference of 8 index components was statistically significant ( P<0.05). Conclusion:There are differences in the chemical components of Inulae Flos - Haematitum medicinal pair for single decoction and mixed decoction.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To explore the pharmacokinetics effect of 8 components of processed Baizhu Shaoyao San on rats. Methods:The rats were divided into processing group and unprocessing group, administered with decoction of Baizhu Shaoyao San by gavage respectively. Then, blood was collected from fundus vein at certain time to obtain the plasma. Finally, the contents of 8 components in plasma were detected and compared by UPLC-MS/MS method, and the methodology of the experiment was tested. The drug concentration in blood and the collection time of blood were analyzed by DAS software, and the time curves of different groups were obtained, the pharmacokinetic parameters were calculated. Results:The blood peak concentration, peak time, area under the drug time curve, and average residence time of 8 components in the serum of rats in the raw product group and the fried product group were different to varying degrees. Conclusion:Processed Baizhu Shaoyao San could influence the behavior of the components measured in rats, which may affect the clinical therapeutic effect of Baizhu Shaoyao San.

ABSTRACT

Coptidis Rhizoma- Cinnamomi Cortex is a classic couplet medicine of Traditional Chinese Medicine, which has the function of communicating heart and kidney, and has been widely used in clinic. At present, the chemical composition of Coptidis Rhizoma- Cinnamomi Cortex before and after compatibility, in terms of nature, quality and in vivo processes to carry out research. The drug pair has sedative hypnotic, hypoglycemic, antidepressant, antiarrhythmic and other pharmacological effects, involving regulation of neurotransmitters, regulation of inflammatory cytokines, antioxidant, regulation of intestinal flora and other mechanisms. The existing research is still insufficient, such as the study on the changes of material basis after the compatibility of Coptidis Rhizoma- Cinnamomi Cortex, as well as the pharmacological effects of cardiovascular system, lipid metabolism and perimenopausal syndrome. The best compatibility ratio of Coptidis Rhizoma- Cinnamomi Cortex in sedation, hypnosis, hypoglycemic and antidepressant needs further analysis.

ABSTRACT

Combined with the related research progress of the application of chemical space in the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the common database resources and calculation tools of chemical space research are summarized and analyzed. The compatibility law of chemical space in TCM prescriptions, the screening of effective ingredients of TCMs, and TCM compounds are summarized. It was found that the current studies mainly focus on the efficacy and multi-target studies of TCMs and TCM compound, among which there are more studies on osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. The existing studies have clarified the efficacy and targets of TCMs or TCM compound for diseases, but there is still a lack of a database on the main components of all TCMs and the efficacy and main targets of TCM compound. Therefore, there needs a new database for the main efficacy molecules and targets of TCMs.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To establish an UHPLC-PDA method for determinating the content of 7 iridoid glycosides and 4 flavonoids constitutents simultaneously in Xiaoer-Ganyan granules. Methods:To take Agilent Ecilipse C18 (2.1 mm × 100 mm, 1.6 μm), and the colunm temperature was at 30 ℃. The mobile phase consists of acetonitrile (A) and 0.05% phosphoric acid (B) in gradient elution at a flow rate of 0.3 ml/min. The detection wavelength was set at 240 and 278 nm.Results:The linear ranges of swertiamain, gentiopicrin, sweroside, shanzhiside methy ester, gardenoside, genipin-1-β-D-gentiobioside, geniposide, baicalin, wogonoside, baicalein and wogonin were 19.16-306.56 μg ( r=0.999 4), 3.34-53.28 μg ( r=0.999 1), 5.30-84.64 μg ( r=0.999 5), 0.80-12.80 μg ( r=0.999 4), 0.46-7.20 μg ( r=0.999 2), 2.78-44.48 μg ( r=0.999 6), 6.02-96.16 μg ( r=0.999 9), 33.22-531.36 μg ( r=0.999 9), 3.92-62.72 μg ( r=0.999 2), 2.38-37.92 μg ( r=0.999 7), 1.32-20.96 μg ( r=0.999 9), respectively. The average recoveries ( n=9) varied from 94.62%-107.53% with RSDs no more than 3.0%. Conclusion:Method validation suggested that the developed method was suitable for simultaneous determination of 11 major constitutents in Xiaoer-Ganyan granules, thus providing reference for the improvement of quality standard of the drug.

ABSTRACT

The plants of genus osmunda have abundant germplasm resource, which are widely distributed in the world. They have long been used for the treatment of viral, fugal and inflammation diseases. These plants have broad bioactivities and contain various chemical constituents such as flavonoids, esters and steroids. They also have high nutrition value, food value and ornamental value with composition of protein, lipids, carbohydrates, cellulose and trace elements (K, Ca, Mg, P, Fe, etc). The world wide research progresses of the genus osmunda on plant resources, chemical constituents, bioactivities in the past few decades were collected and summarized. This paper provided the evidences and references for further research and exploitment.

ABSTRACT

Berberine (BBR) is a natural isoquinoline alkaloid extracted from coptis chinensis.Berberine has several pharmacological activities, including disease-resistant microorganisms,anti-inflammatory,anti-tumor,heart protection, hypoglycemia, regulation of lipid metabolism and immunomodulatory properties. However,BBR's effects on neurodegenerative diseases remained relatively unexplored until its ability to stunt AD progression was characterized.Substantial studies suggest that berberine may be beneficial to AD by limiting the pathogenesis of extracellular amyloid plaques and intracellular neurofibrillary tangles. The studies in recent years have also found that berberine can additionally treat AD by affecting neurotransmitter,anti-oxidative stress, metabolism and other multi-target pathways. This article discusses the treatment pathway of berberine on AD,and summarizes the inhibition mechanism of berberine on AD.
