ABSTRACT

Internet of things (IoT) is an emerging technology that helps in reducing the human efforts. IoT refers to the physical objects connected to each other over the internet. In reference to the healthcare sector various equipment and gadgets like a thermometer, ECG, blood pressure measuring machine, heart rate monitor etc. are interconnected via various sensors. People are becoming more inclined towards the use of the Internet of things. The growing elderly population and the increase in chronic diseases generate a need for the healthcare sector to find ways to provide services at the convenience of the patient. Many people in India do not have access to proper medical services due to which the health of these people suffers. Nowadays the government is taking so many initiatives to support and provide help to the people living in the rural area. This paper proposes a model e-governance healthcare framework of IoT equipped hospital that helps in treating critical healthcare requirements.

ABSTRACT

In order to improve the access and control of core data in medical information security, the paper builds a virtual isolation private cloud storage architecture in hospital, including virtualized reconstruction, metadata model application based on hierarchical model, access to remote clients design and application based on virtual isolation and so on,providing a reliable method for the isolation and intercommunication between the intranet and extranet.

ABSTRACT

Objective To design a private cloud storage system to guarantee intranet and internet data security and realize data sharing between multi platforms. Methods The idea and solution for building the system were proposed by analyzing the difficulty during hospital informatization. The infrastructure based on the idle computing resources in the existing virtual pool and the application platform by private cloud storage software were involved in the development of the system, and related software and hardware were integrated after adjustment and customization, and then the system came into being with easy operation and high performance-cost ratio. Results The system developed realized freely data storage and sharing, and implemented file encryption to control the applied range. Conclusion The system has the functions of malicious code scanning, cooperative office system and data auto-backup,synchronization,transmission,sharing and etc, which executes intranet and intemet data sharing based on physical isolation.

ABSTRACT

Architectural changes with Tianyi cloud storage of China Telecom were made to the up/ down loading of the image-text mega data created in the picture archiving and communication systems (PACS)of the hospital. Thanks to the changes, the data volume uploaded by the PACS of the hospital reached 160G per day, with average upload speed up to 5.3M/second;supporting online query of all image-text data of patients. The authors hold cloud storage technology as safe and reliable, and such other merits as supporting data encryption, automatic offsite redundancy, almost online real-time read/write access, almost infinite extendibility, fast self-healing and off-site disaster-tolerant backup.
