ABSTRACT
The foundation of the university lies in the cultivation of virtue and people. The construction of the ideological and political work system in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) colleges and universities embodies the Marxist on the theory of all-sided development of human beings, the concept and practical requirements of "three-wide education", and the special laws of the ideological and political work in TCM colleges and universities. It is the realistic need to carry out the strategy of cultivating good quality, to innovate and develop the system of ideological and political work, and to improve the quality of TCM personnel training. TCM Colleges and universities should dig deeply into the ideological and political elements of TCM resources, integrate "virtue establishment and people cultivation" into the whole process of talent training, actively explore new ideas, new ways and new methods of constructing the ideological and political work system of TCM colleges and universities, and strive to cultivate high-quality TCM talents who shoulder the task of national rejuvenation.
ABSTRACT
Red gene is an essential material for telling the story of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). Under the background of the new era, red education in colleges and universities of TCM has ushered in a new opportunity for development. Adhering to the red education concept, organically integrating the spirit of red medicine into the ideological and political courses of medical students; expanding the content of red education, using TCM culture to build the benchmark of curriculum ideological and political education; innovating red education methods, promoting the deep integration of new media and ideological and political teaching, to advance the high-quality development of red education, guide students to establish correct values, and help the new development of TCM.

The 4 brands of subject librarian service in Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the past 10 year were summarized ( namely the mass organization of students, cooperation between universities and en-terprises, micro and new technology service, and innovative service) , and the subject librarians-faced challenges at present and in the future were elaborated, with suggestions proposed for improving their information literacy.

After the status quo of ESI-covered pharmacology, toxicology and clinical medicine in domestic universities of traditional Chinese medicine was described, the papers and highly-cited papers published by these universities, total citations, citations of each paper were ranked and compared.The related problems and development tendency of different subjects were analyzed with suggestions put forward for the construction of first class subjects in domestic colleges and universities of traditional Chinese medicine.
