ABSTRACT

TongJi University School of Medicine has performed teaching reforms in the early stage of medical students through curriculum integration of life science,the introduction of PBL,and designing of comprehensive experiments to achieve comprehensive professional competence of medical students.The results showed that the training system is beneficial to the cultivation of students' clinical thinking and early medical professional competence.It has been recognized by both students and faculty.Preliminary practice has proved to be successful.

ABSTRACT

Objective To evaluate the effect of comprehensive experiments on multiple trauma emergency rescue in intensive training before nursing practice. Methods 772 students were divided into groups, 16 to 18 students in each group,each team distributed teaching notes, designed experiment scheme toget her, selected and played roles, undertook tasks, practiced independently before the class,then performed comprehensive training in class. Results 94.8% of the nursing students and 100.0% of the training teachers supported this method of comprehensive experiments in intensive training. Conclusions Nursing comprehensive experiments can shorten the gap between the clinical practice and class teaching, improve the students' professional ability and general quality. It is a popular education mode on intensive training before clinical practice.

ABSTRACT

Teachers develop integrated experiments on nursing management in laboratory center of nursing teaching. By using the methods of imitation and role-play,students exercise nursing management theories and skills that they have learnt to digest related knowledge. In this way,teachers train the students'comprehensive capabilities of communication and coordination,creative thinking,parsing and solving questions and improve the outcome of teaching practice on nursing management to provide clues for more and better integrated experiments.
