ABSTRACT

O objetivo deste estudo teórico é apresentar as principais teorias, construtos e instrumentos utilizados na literatura internacional sobre perspectiva temporal futura (PTF). A revisão indicou dois tipos de abordagens teóricas. As abordagens atemáticas destacam uma tendência geral que orienta processos psicológicos associados ao futuro, de modo a investigar a PTF com escalas psicométricas cujos itens não se associam a conteúdos específicos. As abordagens temáticas enfocam as antecipações do futuro psicológico no presente e investigam as representações de futuro e os seus aspectos cognitivos, dinâmicos, afetivos e comportamentais. Os métodos de avaliação incluem escalas psicométricas associadas a domínios da vida ou instrumentos em que o conteúdo da PTF é listado de modo indutivo. As duas abordagens não são excludentes, mas complementares.


This theoretical study presents the main theories, constructs, and instruments used in international literature on future temporal perspective (FTP). The review indicated two theoretical approaches about the theme. The athematic approaches highlight a general tendency that guides psychological processes associated with future, in order to investigate FTP with psychometric scales with items not associated with specific contents. The thematic approaches focus on the anticipations of psychological future in present and investigate future representations and their cognitive, dynamic, affective, and behavioral aspects. Assessment methods include psychometric scales associated with life domains or instruments in which FTP content is listed inductively. The two approaches are not exclusive, but complementary.


El objetivo de este estudio teórico es presentar las principales teorías, constructos e instrumentos utilizados en la literatura internacional sobre perspectiva temporal futura (PTF). La revisión indicó dos tipos de enfoques teóricos. Los enfoques atemáticos destacan una tendencia general que orienta procesos psicológicos asociados al futuro, de modo a investigar la PTF con escalas psicométricas cuyos ítems no se asocian a contenidos específicos. Los enfoques temáticos enfocan las anticipaciones del futuro psicológico en el presente e investigan las representaciones de futuro y sus aspectos cognitivos, dinámicos, afectivos y comportamentales. Los métodos de evaluación incluyen escalas psicométricas asociadas a ámbitos de la vida o instrumentos en los que el contenido de la PTF se muestra de forma inductiva. Los dos enfoques no son excluyentes, sino complementarios.

El presente trabajo investigativo parte de la postura de que ahondar sobre el conflicto armado y sus efectos en la población colombiana, es referirse a un tema que durante años ha evolucionado en diferentes periodos trascendentales generando diversas posturas, pero que indudablemente solo se puede describir de manera particular por quien ha vivido el rigor de la lucha por el poder económico y político, teniendo en cuenta esto, se desarrolla un estudio mediante un paradigma explicativo e interpretativo que contempla una metodología mixta, dirigida a indagar la relación entre el nivel de resiliencia y los constructos personales de aquellos individuos vulnerados por el conflicto armado, evidenciándose una disonancia entre el análisis de los resultados, al hallarse habilidades resilientes en los sujetos desde lo cuantitativo, las cuales no estaban representadas, desde un foco cualitativo, en el discurso de la mayoría de individuos, pues su subjetividad refería constructos poco ligados a la resiliencia. En tanto, se devela la relevancia de ejecutar acciones no solo inclinadas en hacer una reparación desde lo legal, sino que traigan a colación las significaciones individuales de las víctimas, para que estas puedan trascender y superar las secuelas que dificultan el desarrollo en las dimensiones psicológicas, sociales y emocionales que de alguna manera prolongan el flagelo y perpetúan el asistencialismo.


This paper is part of an effort to try to go deeper into the armed conflict and its effect on the Colombian people, it refers to a topic that has evolved into transcendental periods creating diverse postures that can only be described by those who have lived the political and economic struggle. Taking this perspective into account, this study was carried out under an explanatory and interpretative paradigm using a mixed methodo- logy looking to analyze the relationship between the level of resilience and the personal construction of those individuals victims of the armed conflict, displaying a dissonance between the result analysis of the results in finding the resilient abilities in subjects using a quantitative perspective, since their subjectivity referred constructions that were not very resilient. Therefore, there is the relevance of carrying out actions not only meant to repair forma legal perspective but that bring meaning to individual victims so that they may transcend and overcome the aftermath that hinder the development of psychological, social and emotional dimensions that in some way or another elongate the pain and extend assistance.

ABSTRACT

Esta presentación de caso, expone una intervención de Constructos Personales centrada en dilemas implicativos en una adolescente de 16 años de la ciudad de Medellín diagnosticada con Porfiria Aguda Intermitente de acuerdo con la Clasificación Internacional de Enfermedades (CIE 10) y con Trastorno De Ansiedad Generalizada (TAG) acorde a los criterios del Manual Diagnóstico y Estadístico de los Trastornos Mentales, quinta edición (DSM 5). El proceso terapéutico se desarrolló en deciseís sesiones, teniendo como punto de referencia los parámetros propuestos por Senra, Feixas y Fernandes (2005), quienes plantean un protocolo general para el abordaje de estructuras dilemáticas, igualmente se consideró la elaboración posterior de Feixas y Compañ (2015) para el diseño del proceso terapéutico. Se definieron los dilemas implicativos a partir de la entrevista, la técnica de rejilla y la autocaracterización (Kelly, 1955). Durante la psicoterapia se abordaron dos de las configuraciones dilemáticas, las cuales se relacionaban con competencia personal e interacción social. En la etapa de finalización del tratamiento se evidenciaron cambios significativos a nivel del sistema de construcciones personales tales como el aumento de la autoestima, mayor percepción de cercanía con las personas significativas, así como una mayor adecuación de éstos a sus construcciones valoradas, transformaciones cuantificadas gracias a la Técnica de Rejilla de Kelly. Igualmente, a nivel sintomático se lograron cambios notables, partiendo de la comparación de las mediciones pre-post tratamiento obtenidas con el inventario de ansiedad y depresión de Beck (BAI, BDI II). Estos resultados aportan evidencia a la Psicología de Constructos Personales, confirmando hallazgos anteriormente expuestos en la literatura científica.


This case presentation exposes an intervention of personal constructs, focused on implicative dilemmas in a 16-year-old girl from Medellin diagnosed with intermittent acute porphyria (AIP) according to the International Classification of Diseases (ICD 10) and with disorder of generalized anxiety (DGA) according to the criteria of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, fifth edition (DSM 5). The therapeutic process was developed in sixteen sessions, having as reference the parameters proposed by Senra, Feixas, and Fernandes (2005), who propose a general protocol for the approach of dilemmatic structures, the subsequent elaboration of Feixas and Compañ was also considered (2015) for the design of the therapeutic process. The implicative dilemmas were defined from the interview, the grid technique and the self-characterization (Kelly, 1955). During psychotherapy, two of the dilemmatic configurations were addressed, which related to personal competence and social interaction. In the stage of completion of the treatment, significant changes were evidenced at the level of the personal construction system such as the increase of self-esteem, greater perception of closeness with significant people, as well as, a greater adaptation of these to their value constructions; quantified transformations thanks to Kelly's Grid Technique. Similarly, significant changes were achieved at the symptomatic level, based on the comparison of pre-post treatment measurements obtained with Beck's anxiety and depression inventory (BAI, BDI II). These results provide evidence to the psychology of personal constructs, which confirms findings previously exposed in the scientific literature.

ABSTRACT

La propuesta pretende validar un instrumento que de cuenta de los predictores de las capacidades de innovación en las organizaciones dedicadas al cuidado de la salud. Se acogieron dos técnicas, una de ellas es el Análisis Factorial Exploratorio (AFE), y la otra, el Análisis Factorial Confirmatorio (AFC). La muestra estuvo conformada por 200 observaciones, las mismas fueron obtenidas de la red de los hospitales de alta complejidad en Colombia durante los años 2016 y 2017. La investigación arrojó como primer aspecto un instrumento válido desde sus constructos y reactivos (Gestión del conocimiento y del Talento Humano, Capacidades Directivas, Cultura Organizacional, y finalmente los asociados a la Organización en Salud). Como segundo aspecto, fruto del anàlisis factorial, se pudo probar el modelo teórico. Este tipo de iniciativa es pionera, especialmente por tres razones: 1) Abordaje de dicha corriente en el sector salud; 2) la amplitud conceptual de un gran número de predictores internos de las Capacidades de Innovación y 3) se detectó la existencia de algunos estudios descriptivos y con atención especial en la innovación de manera general, pero la intención del presente trabajo va mucho más allá de los trabajos meramente prescriptivos, pretende demostrar mediante técnicas cuantitativas las singularidades de dichas capacidades en el sector salud (AU)

ABSTRACT

La ingeniería tisular (IT) ha sido considerada un campo interdisciplinario, aplicando los principios de ciencias de ingeniería y biología para el desarrollo de sustitutos biológicos que restauran, mantienen o mejoran la función tisular. Se basa en el entendimiento de losprincipios del crecimiento tisular, y su aplicación, para producir reemplazo de tejidos para uso clínico. Se consideran determinantes para el éxito de la IT las Stem Cells (células madre), morfógenos y las “scaffolds” (constructos). Poner en práctica dicha disciplina requiere elempleo de estrategias terapéuticas biológicas que apuntan a reemplazar, reparar, mantener y/o mejorar la función tisular. El objetivo de este trabajo, ha sido realizar una actualización sobre nuevos conocimientos emergentes de las últimas publicaciones científicas realizadas en el ámbito de esta nueva disciplina. Para ello se realizó una exhaustiva búsqueda de información en la base de datos de Pubmed. Actualmente, la IT concentra sus esfuerzos en lograr la regeneración de tejidos dentarios y para dentarios, así como en lograr la obtención de una pieza dental completa. Su avance clínico ha sido notable. Se han reportado artículos publicados que ya evidencian su aplicación en periodoncia, cirugía, implantología, rehabilitación oral y endodoncia. Si bien, estrategias de la IT ya se utilizan clínicamente en odontología, su rápido desarrollo se convierte entonces en un gran desafío e incógnita tanto para quienes ejercen la profesión en la actualidad, como para aquellos que se encuentran en plena formación académica. Tomar conocimiento de logros y avances resulta entonces fundamental, ya que podría convertirse en un futuro próximo, en una herramienta de uso habitual.


Tissue engineering (TE) is considered an interdisciplinary field, and applies principles of engineering and biology to develop biologicalsubstitutes that restore, maintain, or improve tissue function. It is based on the application of the principles of tissue growth to producetissue replacement for clinical use. Stem cells, morphogens, and scaffolds are determinant to the success of TE. Implementation of TErequires the use of biological therapeutic strategies aiming to replace, repair, maintain, and/or improve tissue function. The objective ofthe present work was to perform an update of new knowledge presented in recent scientific publications in this field. For this purpose, weconducted an extensive search for information on Pubmed. At present, TE focuses on achieving regeneration of dental and para-dentaltissues, as well as on obtaining a whole tooth. There have been outstanding clinical advances in this field. There are reports showingsuccessful application of TE in periodontics, surgery, implantology, oral rehabilitation and endodontics. Although TE strategies arealready used in dentistry, their rapid development poses a great challenge both to current practitioners and to those who are in the midst oftheir academic training. Gaining an awareness of the achievements and advances in TE is therefore essential, since it could become widelyapplied in the near future.

p>This article aims to present the productivity of the assumptions of Philosophical Hermeneutics (Gadamer, 1996) and his discovery of the logical, ontological and structural model of the game that takes place during the experience that is the basis of comprehension. Thus, digital games are proposed as manners, methods and ways to improve the understanding, interpretation and application of the concepts of Sustainability and Environmental Principles. The attraction of the game as a pedagogic space lays in the fact that it takes over and allows the player to internalize ecological sensitivity, something that happens during the play. Finally, the results show an augment on students motivation, when using the game versus the traditional process. /p>


p>Este artigo tem como objetivo apresentar a produtividade dos pressupostos da hermenêutica filosófica de Gadamer (1996) e sua descoberta do modelo lógico, ontológico e estrutural do jogo, que ocorre durante a experiência, que é a base da compreensão. Assim, os jogos digitais são propostos como maneiras, métodos e formas de melhorar a compreensão, interpretação e aplicação dos conceitos de princípios de sustentabilidade e meio-ambiente. ABSTRACT

A method for studying cognitive conflicts using the repertory grid technique is presented. By means of this technique, implicative dilemmas can be identified, cognitive structures in which a personal construct for which change is wished for implies undesirable change on another construct. We assessed the presence of dilemmas and the severity of symptoms in 46 participants who met criteria for dysthymia and compared then to a non-clinical group composed of 496 participants. Finally, an analysis of the specific content of the personal constructs forming such dilemmas was also performed. Implicative dilemmas were found in almost 70% of the dysthymic participants in contrast to 39% of controls and in greater quantity. In addition, participants in both groups with this type of conflict showed more depressive symptoms and general distress than those without dilemmas. Furthermore, a greater number of implicative dilemmas was associated with higher levels of symptom severity. Finally, content analysis results showed that implicative dilemmas are frequently composed of a constellation of moral values and emotion, indicating that symptoms are often related to moral aspects of the self and so change processes may be hindered. Clinical implications of targeting implicative dilemmas in the therapy context are discussed.


En este estudio se presenta un método para el estudio de los conflictos cognitivos utilizando la técnica de rejilla. Por medio de ella, se identificaron los dilemas implicativos, una estructura cognitiva en la que un constructo personal en el que se desea un cambio se asocia con otro constructo en el que el cambio no es deseable. Se evaluó la presencia de dilemas y la gravedad sintomatológica en una muestra de 46 participantes que cumplían criterios diagnósticos para la distimia y se comparó con un grupo control compuesto por 496 participantes. Por último, se llevó a cabo un análisis del contenido de los constructos personales que forman los dilemas. Se encontraron dilemas en casi 70% de la muestra clínica frente a 39% de la muestra control y en mayor cantidad. Por otro lado, los participantes de ambos grupos con este tipo de conflicto mostraron un nivel mayor de sintomatología depresiva y malestar general que aquellos sin dilemas. Además, se encontró una alta correlación entre el número de dilemas implicativos y la gravedad de los síntomas. Los resultados del análisis de contenido mostraron que los dilemas estaban frecuentemente formados por una constelación de valores morales y constructos emocionales indicando que a menudo los síntomas están asociados a aspectos positivos del sí mismo, por lo que el proceso de cambio puede verse bloqueado. Se discuten las implicaciones clínicas de abordar los dilemas en el contexto terapéutico.

Kelly's Personal Construct Psychology (PCP) proposes that attributing meaning to experience is the most fundamental process of human psychological functioning. He describes psychological activity as a continuous process of creating, testing and revising personal theories (usually implicit) that allow people to understand and anticipate events. Personal constructs are the basic units of these personal theories. Constructs are bipolar contrasts of meaning that form an evolving network through which psychological processes are canalized. This system provides with a limited number of alternative views for explaining, anticipating and participating in life. One of the most significant contributions to psychological research made by PCP concerns the possibility to develop tools for the study of subjective construing. The Role Construct Repertory Grid (RepGrid) has been extensively used to explore the view subjects have of themselves, others and their problems. This technique elicits a sample of verbal descriptions of contrasting alternatives, his or her personal constructs; and provides several measures of self construing (e.g., self-esteem) and systems organization (e.g., complexity). Several authors point out the utility and pertinence of exploring the construct system in the evaluation of depressive disorders. They show the interest of studying the construct systems of depressive patients in order to measure some aspects that symptom and standard cognitive measures of cognitive distortions do not take into account. Depressive mood is highly influenced by the subject's view of him or herself and others, and by the organization of his or her constructs. However, the content of these personal constructs has received far less attention from researchers. The main goal of this article is to complement the PCP model of depression through the content analysis of personal constructs. In contrast with traditional content analysis, we do not evaluate the valency of the content but the principal meaning dimensions through which depressive people describe their interpersonal experience. According to PCP and other cognitive approaches, we hypothesize that the contents of the construct systems in the depressive sample are different from those of the control group. Specifically, we believe that the depressive group will show a higher number of constructs related to emotions and morality. The present study was carried out with 53 patients seeking psychological treatment in various private clinics in Barcelona who met DSM-IV criteria for depressive unipolar disorders. The non-clinical comparison group (n= 53), paired by sex and age with the clinical one, included volunteers recruited by graduate and undergraduate students from the University of Barcelona as part of their practical experience with the RepGrid, after receiving specific training in its administration. To compare the pattern of the construct system of both groups, we categorized the content of the personal constructs elicited with the RepGrid using the Classification System for Personal Constructs (SCCP) developed by Feixas et al. The SCCP is composed of six thematic areas (moral, emotional, relational, personal, intellectual, and values/interests) broken down into 45 different categories. Inter-rater agreement was used to determine the reliability of the SCCP. The results were very satisfactory regarding the percentage of agreement between judges. Cohen's Kappa coefficient confirmed the high level of reliability of the SCCP, which was higher than that obtained in previous studies. Data provides evidence of the differences in content frequency distributions between the clinical and non-clinical groups. People from the depressive sample tend to use more constructs related to emotions and less to intellectual issues. The depressive group showed more constructs within certain specific categories such as <>, <> and <>, and less constructs referring to sexuality. The results indicate that content patterns of depressed people show various specific thematic emphases. Indeed, from the wide range of stimuli coming from interpersonal experience, the emotional aspects acquire a special saliency. Although the exploratory nature of the present study does not allow us to establish causal inference, it seems evident that the tendency of depressive people to focus on the emotional dimension could play an important role in the maintenance of the depressive symptoms. Likewise, the lack of constructs concerning intellectual and personal issues reinforces the idea that depressed people tend to focus on the emotional aspects of the interpersonal experience. The results from the content analysis of specific categories show some contrasting features in the construing systems of both groups. The low self-esteem frequently reported for depressive subjects, a self-demanding attitude, and a negative image of the self are aspects potentially related to the <> dimension of meaning, which emerged as the most diverging dimension among the 45 categories within the six areas. On the other hand, constructs within the category <> allude to the focus on certain specific interpersonal aspects of experience. The concern about respect and power in relationships turns out to be an important meaning dimension, which is in line with the special interpersonal sensitivity displayed by depressive people when facing judgement and disapproval on the part of significant others. When we hypothesized that depressive people would present a greater number of moral constructs, we were considering that this higher frequency would be reflecting symptomatic aspects about perfectionism and self-demands. The explorative content analysis of this study has not shown enough sensitivity to this important feature of depressive people. Doubtlessly, a more refined research strategy is necessary in order to achieve a better understanding of the role played by morality in the construing systems. Finally, from the limitations of the present study, some issues are proposed for future lines of research. The combination of content and structural aspects, such as implicative dilemmas, seems to be the best alternative for the evaluation of the construct systems of depressive people. Thus, the advantages of studying the organization and the thematic emphases of individual systems of meaning can be combined. In any case, these results provide evidence for the clinical and theoretical advantages of the SCCP in studying the content of personal meaning systems. Therefore, it seems to be a fruitful and useful assessment instrument which allows the clinician to understand the patient's problem in his or her own way of construing.


Desde el marco de la Psicología de los Constructos Personales (PCP) de Kelly, es posible estudiar de forma sistemática la construcción subjetiva que las personas hacen de sí mismas y de sus problemas. Feixas et al., destacan la pertinencia del estudio de los sistemas de construcción en la evaluación del trastorno depresivo puesto que miden aspectos que no son suficientemente valorados por las medidas cognitivas estándar sobre los síntomas y las distorsiones cognitivas. La mayoría de los trabajos sobre la depresión basados en la PCP se han centrado en las características estructurales, en cambio los aspectos del contenido han recibido menor interés. El propósito de este estudio es realizar un análisis de contenido de los constructos personales en la depresión. Actualmente no existe ningún estudio que haya explorado de forma sistemática las dimensiones de contenido más significativas para esta población. En concordancia con la PCP y otros enfoques cognitivos, hipotetizamos que el contenido de los sistemas de construcción de la muestra depresiva es distinto al de la población normal. En concreto, creemos que la población clínica presenta mayor frecuencia de constructos de tipo moral y emocional en comparación con la muestra no clínica. Para poder poner a prueba estas hipótesis se analizaron los constructos de 106 sujetos, con edades comprendidas entre los 19 y los 57 años, divididos en dos grupos, un grupo clínico (n = 53) de personas diagnosticadas con alguna modalidad depresiva unipolar y otro grupo no clínico (n = 53). Categorizamos el contenido de los constructos elicitados con la técnica de rejilla por medio del Sistema de Categorías de Constructos Personales (SCCP) desarrollado por Feixas et al. El SCCP es un sistema de clasificación compuesto por un total de seis áreas temáticas (moral, emocional, relacional, personal, intelectual y valores e intereses) que se desglosan en 45 categorías para codificar el contenido de los constructos personales. Los principales resultados muestran que existen diferencias significativas entre las distribuciones de frecuencias del contenido de ambas poblaciones. Las personas con depresión (PD) utilizan significativamente más constructos de tipo emocional, y menos de tipo intelectual. Además, en comparación a la muestra normal, los depresivos muestran mayor número de constructos en las categorías <>, <> y, de forma más destacada, en la dimensión <>. Los resultados indican que el patrón prototípico del contenido de los sistemas de constructos de las PD difiere en el énfasis temático predominante. En efecto, de la variedad de acontecimientos de la experiencia, los aspectos conativos resultan especialmente notorios para las personas con depresión. Por otro lado, la carencia de constructos intelectuales y personales refuerza la idea de que las personas con depresión emplean gran parte de su actividad mental en el procesamiento de los aspectos emocionales de la experiencia. Aunque la naturaleza exploratoria de este estudio no permite establecer líneas causales, parece evidente que la focalización de la actividad psicológica de las PD en la dimensión afectiva de la experiencia puede estar desempeñando un papel importante en el mantenimiento de la problemática depresiva. Por último, a partir de las limitaciones de este estudio se proponen algunos diseños para la investigación futura acerca de la relación entre el contenido y la estructura de los sistemas de construcción de las personas con depresión.
