ABSTRACT

【Objective】 To explore the research status, hot spots and trends of platelet rich plasma (PRP). 【Methods】 With "platelet rich plasma (PRP)" and its Chinese equivalent as the subject words, the PRP related articles during January 1, 2013 to December 31, 2022 from PubMed and CNKI database were retrieved. The bibliometric analysis was performed by Bicomb 2.0 software to extract the annual number of literature publications, authors, journals and high-frequency theme words/sub theme words. The gCLUTO software was used to evaluate and visualize the results, and strategic diagram was drawn according to the results of biclustering. 【Results】 A total of 9 066 PRP related articles were retrieved (7 027 from PubMed, 2 039 from CNKI), and the number of publications showed an increasing trend year by year. Papers have been published in 1 527 journals in PubMed, among which the journal with the highest number of publications was Arthroscopy: Journal of Arthroscopic & Related Surgery (175 articles), followed by American Journal of Sports Medicine (171 articles ) and Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology (121 articles) . PRP-related studies were published in 541 journals in CNKI, with the top 3 journals as Chinese Tissue Engineering Research (113 articles), Chinese Aesthetic Medicine (64 articles) and Chinese Journal of Blood Transfasion (45 articles) . In Pubmed, Anitua Eduardo (84 articles), Filardo Giuseppe (53 articles) and Cole Brian J (44 articles) were the top three productive authors on PRP; Cheng Biao from the General Hospital of Southern Theater Command of Chinese PLA was the most productive Chinese author (25 articles) . Shan Guiqiu from the General Hospital of the Southern Theater Command of the Chinese People's Liberation Army published the most articles(29 articles) in CNKI. American journals published the most articles (2 745 articles ), accounting for 39.06% of the total articles, followed by British and Swiss journals, with 1 499 articles and 550 articles, respectively. A total of 42 high-frequency subject words/sub-subject words were selected from PubMed, and were classified into 6 roups, while 30 high-frequency subject words were selected from CNKI and grouped into 5 categories. The strategic coordinates show that the treatment of rotator cuff and tendon injury with PRP in PubMed, the study of PRP and tissue engineering materials in CNKI are the core themes of current PRP research. 【Conclusion】 The strategic coordinate map and bibliometrics can reveal the current research status of PRP and predict future research hotspots, but current research cores of PubMed and CNKI are not consistent, and further research is still needed.

ABSTRACT

ObjectiveTo analyze the online public Q&A texts on HPV vaccine, focus on the important issues related to HPV vaccination and cervical cancer prevention in China, and propose strategies and suggestions. MethodsThe latent Dirichlet allocation (LDA) topic model was employed to extract key topics of 15 565 Q&A texts related to HPV vaccines from the social Q&A platform "Zhihu". The Baidu AI sentiment analysis tool was used to analyze the emotional tendencies of the texts corresponding to each topic, and the topics were classified based on the strategic coordinate method. ResultsOnline users focused on eight topics about HPV vaccine information. Among them, vaccination knowledge, HPV vaccination hesitation, and HPV vaccine development and marketing belonged to the low positivity-high negativity emotional topics, HPV infection and high-risk factors belonged to the low positivity-low negativity emotional topics, and HPV vaccine appointment channels, comparison between domestic and imported vaccines, HPV vaccines and cervical cancer prevention, and HPV vaccine types and selection were grouped under high positivity-low negativity emotional topics. ConclusionPublic concerns regarding HPV vaccines can be classified into three major dimensions: health knowledge, health beliefs, and health behaviors. Overall, the public's views and attitudes towards vaccine-related issues are not optimistic. Strengthening science publicity and education, enhancing vaccine supervision, and encouraging enterprises’ innovative research and development capability are effective strategies to improve public awareness of cervical cancer prevention and accelerate the full HPV vaccination coverage.

ABSTRACT

Abstract: The neuraxial anesthetic technique in the obese class III, pregnant patient, can represent a challenge for the anesthesiologist, due to the difficulty in recognizing the anatomical landmarks. The objective of the study was to determine the difficulty and quality of combined spinal/epidural anesthesia, in 14 pregnant patients with a body mass index ≥ 40 kg/m2 scheduled for cesarean section. For the location of the puncture site, self-identification of the waist was used, a methodology that has not been previously reported. The patients straddled the surgical Table, pointing to her waist with both hands. Two lines were drawn on the back. A horizontal line at the waist, indicated by the patient, and a vertical line corresponding to the midline. The intersection of the two lines was the coordinate for the neuraxial puncture. The mean ± SD of the body mass index was 47.5 ± 3.7 kg/m2. A first level success rate of 92.8% was determined, 57.1% of the patients received one puncture, and the average of punctures was 1.5. Spinal/epidural anesthesia failed in two cases, a change from anesthetic technique to epidural and supplementation with infiltration was performed, with adequate analgesia. It was not necessary to convert to general anesthesia in any case. Self-identification of the waist and coordinate marking can be a clinical aid for the identification of the lumbar puncture site, during the installation of neuraxial anesthesia, in obstetric patients with class III obesity, scheduled for cesarean section.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To explore the genetic diversity and population structure of Erigeron breviscapus, so as to provide a scientific basis for its resource protection and rational utilization. Method:Twelve pairs of simple sequence repeat(SSR) primers were screened out from 243 individuals in 16 natural populations to calculate the genetic diversity parameters of E. breviscapus, which were then subjected to principal coordinate analysis and cluster analysis. Result:Twelve SSR markers generated 209 alleles, with an average of 17.417 alleles per locus. Based on 12 SSR markers and 16 populations of E. breviscapus, the observed heterozygosity (H0) values were determined to be 0.603 and 0.613, the expected heterozygosity (He)to be 0.658 and 0.659, and the Shannon's information index (I) to be 1.443 and 1.446, respectively. The Wright's fixation index (Fst) was 0.123 and gene flow (Nm) was 2.077. Analysis of molecular variance (AMOVA) and genetic differentiation revealed that genetic variation within populations was the main source of total variation. The Nei's genetic distance and genetic identity coefficients were within the ranges of 0.107 (YA and XY)-0.713 (SZ and XZD) and 0.490 (SZ and XZD)-0.899 (YA and XY), respectively. As demonstrated by the principal coordinate analysis and cluster analysis, the 16 populations of breviscapus were divided into two clusters. Conclusion:The genetic diversity of E. breviscapus was relatively high and there existed certain genetic differentiation and gene flow within and among populations. The genetic variation was mainly present within populations. All these have provided reference for subsequent study on good germplasm selection of E. breviscapus.

ABSTRACT

Aim: The present study was undertaken to examine the relation between genetic divergence of some tropical inbred lines of maize and extent of heterosis manifestation in their single cross hybrids. Methodology: Fifteen inbred lines and three inbred testers along with 45 single cross hybrids were evaluated by adopting randomized complete block design during two seasons. The observations recorded on eight metric traits of the entries in each of three replications were utilized during statistical analysis across the seasons. Relative importance of classification variables was determined by principal component analysis and the phenogram was generated using average taxonomic distance. Molecular profiling of inbred lines was carried out by employing 28 SSR primer pairs covering all the chromosomes. Principal coordinate analysis was performed and similarity indices based dendrogram was constructed. Relationship between parental genetic divergence and heterosis was statistically tested. Results: Significant differences due to parents, hybrids and parent vs. hybrids were observed for all metric characters. Principal component analysis based diagram and average taxonomic distance based phenogram separated the inbred lines into five clusters. Amplification profiles based principal coordinate analysis and hierarchical cluster analysis differentiated the inbred lines into four major clusters. Statistically non-significant correlation of genomic data based genetic similarity or phenotypic data based genetic dissimilarity of inbreds was revealed with grain yield and heterosis of hybrid combinations. Significantly positive correlation was found between heterosis over mid parent or better parent and grain yield of hybrids. Interpretation: Parental genetic divergence was not linearly or additively related to heterosis manifestation in hybrid. Moderate genetic divergence together with high per se performance of inbreds seemed to be a better criterion than consideration of merely extreme genetic diversity as the basis for the choice of parental inbreds during heterotic single cross hybrid development in maize

ABSTRACT

To solve the problem of precise positioning of carp brain tissue coordinates, it is proposed in this paper for a method for transforming the coordinates of magnetic resonance imaging of carp brain tissue into the coordinates of electrode implantation using a brain stereotaxic apparatus. In this study, the 3.0T magnetic resonance imaging instrument was used to scan the carp brain. We independently established the three-dimensional positioning coordinate system of the brain, the three-dimensional coordinate assistance system of skull surface and the three-dimensional coordinate assistance system in brain tissue. After two coordinate transformations, the magnetic resonance image coordinates of the brain electrodes implantation sites were converted into the three-dimensional stereotactic coordinate system to guide the electrodes implantation. The experimental groups were divided into two groups, A and B. Group A was the group of magnetic resonance imaging apparatus combining with the brain stereotaxic apparatus, and group B was the group of brain atlas combining with the brain stereotaxic apparatus. Each group had 20 tails of carps ( = 20). This two methods were used to implant the electrodes into the cerebellar motor area. The underwater experiments of the carp robots were carried out to test the two methods. The results showed that the accuracy of the implanted electrodes were 90% in group A and 60% in group B. The success rate of group A was significantly higher than that of group B ( < 0.05). Therefore, the new method in this paper can accurately determine the coordinates of carp brain tissue.

ABSTRACT

The hand coordinate systems for measuring vibration exposures and biodynamic responses have been standardized, but they are not actually used in many studies. This contradicts the purpose of the standardization. The objectives of this study were to identify the major sources of this problem, and to help define or identify better coordinate systems for the standardization. This study systematically reviewed the principles and definition methods, and evaluated typical hand coordinate systems. This study confirms that, as accelerometers remain the major technology for vibration measurement, it is reasonable to standardize two types of coordinate systems: a tool-based basicentric (BC) system and an anatomically based biodynamic (BD) system. However, these coordinate systems are not well defined in the current standard. Definition of the standard BC system is confusing, and it can be interpreted differently; as a result, it has been inconsistently applied in various standards and studies. The standard hand BD system is defined using the orientation of the third metacarpal bone. It is neither convenient nor defined based on important biological or biodynamic features. This explains why it is rarely used in practice. To resolve these inconsistencies and deficiencies, we proposed a revised method for defining the realistic handle BC system and an alternative method for defining the hand BD system. A fingertip-based BD system for measuring the principal grip force is also proposed based on an important feature of the grip force confirmed in this study.

ABSTRACT

Most of foot pain occurs by the entrapment of the tibial nerve and its branches. Some studies have reported the location of the tibial nerve; however, textbooks and researches have not described the posterior tibial artery and the relationship between the tibal nerve and the posterior tibial artery in detail. The purpose of this study was to analyze the location of neurovascular structures and bifurcations of the nerve and artery in the ankle region based on the anatomical landmarks. Ninety feet of embalmed human cadavers were examined. All measurements were evaluated based on a reference line. Neurovascular structures were classified based on the relationship between the tibial nerve and the posterior tibial artery. The bifurcation of arteries and nerves were expressed by X- and Y-coordinates. Based on the reference line, 9 measurements were examined. The most common type I (55.6%), was the posterior tibial artery located medial to the tibial nerve. Neurovascular structures were located less than 50% of the distance between M and C from M at the reference line. The bifurcation of the posterior tibial artery was 41% in X-coordinate, -38% in Y-coordinate, and that of the tibial nerve was 48%, and -10%, respectively. Thirteen measurements and classification showed statistically significant differences between both sexes (P<0.05). It is determined the average position of neurovascular structures in the human ankle region and recorded the differences between the sexes and amongst the populations. These results would be helpful for the diagnosis and treatment of foot pain.
