ABSTRACT
Este artigo discute a integridade na pesquisa, a partir da ética na publicação científica e dos direitos autorais. Demonstra que, dentre as fraudes nas publicações, o plágio possui controvérsias acentuadas se compararmos a visão do Direito com a visão das diretrizes éticas nacionais e internacionais da comunidade científica. Percebe-se, por fim, que é necessário um diálogo interdisciplinar do tema,principalmente para que seja possível estabelecer regras comuns para os pesquisadores. Estas regras, por sua vez, não são apenas de ordem metodológica e legal, mas incluem deveres morais e virtudes acadêmicas
This paper discusses the integrity in research, from ethics in scientific publishing and copyright. It shows that among frauds in publications, plagiarism is markedly controversial if we compare the view of the law with the view of the national and international ethical guidelines of the scientific community. Finally, we consider that an interdisciplinary dialogue of the theme is needed, so that common rules for researchers can be established. These rules, in turn, are not only of methodological and legal nature, but include moral duties and academic virtues
