ABSTRACT

Objective To compare the clinical efficacy and carry out analysis on pharmacoeconomic cost-effect of three therapeutic schemes in the treatment for stroke. Methods Through a retrospective survey method, 115 stroke patients, based on different treatment methods, were divided into 3 groups:Xuesaitong group (A), carthamin yellow group (B), and Xueshuantong group (C). An analysis on pharmacoeconomic cost-effect was conducted. Results The costs of three therapeutic schemes were 1030.4 yuan, 1876 yuan, and 1545.6 yuan, respectively. The total effective rates of stroke patients in groups A, B and C were 85.37%, 88.57% and 90.04%, respectively. The cost-effect ratios of groups A, B and C were 12.07, 21.18, and 17.17. The added cost-effect ratios of groups B and C compared with group A were 264.25 and 110.32, respectively. Conclusion Xueshuantong Injection has more pharmacoeconomic advantage than Xuesaitong and carthamin yellow Injections in treating stroke.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the cost-effect of tele-wound treatment platform with cellular phone terminator and traditional outpatient treatment on chronic lower limb ulcers in remote district. Methods Thirty seven cases with chronic lower limb ulcers from the key hospitals in the district of west Hunan Province were collected by cluster sampling, and randomly divided into the intervention group (25 cases)and the control group (12 cases). They chose remote wound treatment platform intervention with cellular phone terminator and traditional dressing change in clinic. All patients received a 1.5-year follow-up,or cure and amputations were set as the endpoint of the study. The cost-effect,including the incidence of complications in the course of treatment, number of switches, treatment time, the cost of treatment,as well as medical human resources consumption was analyzed and compared between the two groups. Results The incidence of complications in the course of treatment in the intervention was (76.0%) significantly lower than the control group(91.7%).There was a significant increase in the dressing times and the duration of treatment; and there was no significant difference in the cost of treatment and medical human resources consumption between two groups. Conclusions Compared to the traditional outpatients wound treatment, the multimedia message-based tele-wound treatment platform unlikely increased medical human resources consumption and the cost of treatment, and may reduce the incidence of complications and the treatment time.

ABSTRACT

Objective To analyze the Cost-effect of small cell lung cancer by drug economics. Methods 55 patients of small cell lung cancer were devided into 3 groups,CAV,PE and GP scheme,we evaluated the cost and effect based on drug economics. Results The effectiveness rate of CAV was 50 %,the cost of CAV was 340.76 yuan(RMB),the cost of 1 % increasing of effectiveness rate was 6.82 yuan(RMB);The effectiveness rate of PE was 71.9%,the cost of PE was 755.26 yuan(RMB),the cost of 1% increasing of effectiveness rate was 10.5 yuan(RMB);The effectiveness rate of GP was 85.7%,the cost of GP was 12 372.04 yuan(RMB),the cost of 1% increasing of effectiveness rate was 144.36 yuan(RMB).Conclusion PE is the most reasonable chemotherapy scheme for small cell lung cancer.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the economic effectiveness of different drugs for the same disease.METHODS:Using pharmacoeconomic cost-effect analysis, the short-term effects of three therapeutic schemes on duodenal bulbar ulcer, including A,B and C schemes, were compared.RESULTS:A was the best scheme.CONCLUSION:The results show that pharmacoeconomic cost-effect analysis plays an important role in optimizing therapeutic scheme, guiding rational drug use and increasing economic effectiveness.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To compare the economical effects of four treatment schemes on type2diabetes.METHODS:Four treatment schemes(Group A:Acarbose;Group B:Gliclazide+Metformin;Group C:Insulin;Group D:Repaglinide+Met?formin)of type2diabetes were compared by a cost-effect analysis method in pharmacoeconomics.RESULTS:After treatment for3months,fasting blood glucose level of four schemes were of significant differences(P0.05).CONCLUSION:Blood sug_ ar level can be controlled to an ideal level through the four treatment schemes;while Group D is better considering the sensi?tivity of organism to insulin, the function of?cell and the overall efficiency.
