ABSTRACT

The development of artificial intelligence is becoming more and more mature, and has penetrated into every field of clinical trials. Artificial intelligence has brought new development opportunities for clinical trials. However, the application of artificial intelligence in clinical trials is still in the exploratory stage, facing many ethical issues, including trial risk caused by data quality, privacy protection caused by data regulation, and contradiction between data authorization and informed consent. We should precisely position the realizable application of artificial intelligence in clinical trials, understand its practical ethical issues, and formulate corresponding coping strategies to ensure the maximum improvement of the whole process performance of clinical trials, including strengthening data quality management and reducing clinical trial risks; optimizing data monitoring mechanisms to ensure data security and privacy; building a data authorization platform and improving judicial protection of informed consent, etc.

ABSTRACT

Telemedicine service can effectively improve the diagnosis and treatment, rationally allocate medical resources, and fully reduce medical expenditure, so as to meet people′s health care needs. As introduced by the authors, Beijing Geriatric Hospital provides telemedicine services for chronic diseases guidance, medical consultation and home care services through mobile App, realizing hierarchical medical services, resource sharing and service collaboration in the region, and making up for the shortcomings of time and space in conventional model of face-to-face services. However, in the process of promotion and application, a series of ethical issues have also been found, such as the change of doctor-patient relationship, the protection of patient privacy, the safety of data and information, and the management of medical quality. By discussing the ethical risks in the telemedicine environment and thinking about the relevant countermeasures, we can promote the establishment of a corresponding medical ethics system and promote the sustainable development of telemedicine.

Pharmaceutical excipients are implementing registration and approval management in our country. As the disadvantages of the registration system appearing continuously, the demand for reform is getting higher and higher. The cry for drug master files ( DMF) model instead of registration and approval management is becoming more prominent. Based on the understanding of DMF sys-tem, the article discussed the positive roles of the excipients standards and guidelines construction in DMF implementation using phar-maceutical excipients supervision experience in the United States as the reference and starting from the standards and guidelines system of excipients, which aimed to provide suggestions for the supervision and management of pharmaceutical excipients, and improve the quality and safety of pharmaceutical excipients and drugs.
