ABSTRACT
Se realizó este estudio con el objetivo de dar a conocer la existencia de una imagen radiográfica que no corresponde con ninguna entidad patológica osteomioarticular y que, por lo tanto, no requiere de tratamiento específico, evitando así la posibilidad de errores diagnósticos y terapéuticos a pacientes que sufren de coxalgia. Se presentó un paciente que acudió a consulta por presentar coxalgia y que luego del examen clínico se le indicó estudio radiográfico simple en vista anteroposterior de pelvis ósea, en el cual se observó una imagen redondeada en cuello femoral derecho de aspecto osteolítico. Esto ocasionó la necesidad diagnóstica de descartar la presencia de una lesión tumoral, luego de lo cual se establece tratamiento conservador, con una respuesta terapéutica adecuada y la curación total a las 4 semanas de su diagnóstico
The objective of present study was to make known the existence of a radiographic image that not match with any osteomyoarticular pathologic entity and that therefore not requires a specific treatment thus avoiding the possibility of diagnostic and therapeutic errors to patients suffering coxalgia. This is the case of a patient came to consultation due to coxalgia and that after physical examination a simple radiographic study was prescribed in anteroposterior view of bone pelvis, observing a rounded image in right femoral neck of type osteolytic. This situation leads to a diagnostic need to rule out the presence of a tumoral lesion to establishing the conservative treatment obtaining an appropriate therapeutic response and the total cure at 4 weeks of its diagnosis
