Process of submarine medical rescue based on MedModel: A simulation application research / 第二军医大学学报

Objective To optimize the constitutionsof the rescue process and medical support teams for submarine rescue, so as to provide new method for evaluating the medical service performance. Methods Using the MedModel software, we established the simulation model of rescue process according to the constitution and work flow for submarine rescue and five ways of getting out of thewater. The mean waiting time of 5 ways was calculated. Results According to the ways of getting out of water, the mean waiting time of each way were calculated and the allocation of medical resources were optimized, making the total waiting time meeting the need of medical rescue team. Conclusion This paper optimizes the rescue process and constitution of the rescue team, saving the medical resources, reducing the total waiting time of the wounded, and providing a new method for evaluating medical serves.

Placebo: eficácia e desqualificação na clínica cotidiana / Placebo: Effectiveness and disqualification in everyday clinical work

O artigo apresenta um estudo dos principais manifestações que ocorrem na prática médica nos quais o fenômenoplacebo foi investigado como tendo algum efeito. São apresentados e analisados criticamente com revisãobibliográfica do efeito-placebo: asma brônquica, cefaléia, enxaqueca, constipação, resfriado, analgesia, entreoutros sintomas, sinais e afecções. Permeando a análise sindrômica e sintomatológica, são também discutidosconceitos sobre origens, história e ação do placebo e o conceito de Natura medicatrix, procurando-se fazer adistinção entre outras noções correlatas e situações não somente no aspecto clínico, mas também nos aspectoséticos e de pesquisa

The aim of this work is to introduce the study of the main symptoms that occur in medical practice, in which thephenomenon placebo has been investigated as having some effects. It is presented and analyzed critically withbibliographical review of the placebo effect: bronchial asthma, migraine, headache, constipation, cold, analgesia.Following the analyses of the symptoms and syndromes, concepts about origins, histories, placebo actions andNatura medicatrix concept are also considered, so that a distinction with others correlated notions and situations,not only in the clinical aspect, but also in the ones involved with ethic and research may be achieved.
